Amazing staff, went above and beyond. Beautiful hotel, was perfection.

The room was great, breakfast lovely exept the coffee was to thin. Location quiet to our liking, the walk was a litl steep in the eavning but good exersise. Near everything we wanted to take part in. Great location.
Only the thin coffy in the restaurant - but we used the coffeemacine on the way to our room and got perfect coffy there. Everything else was up to our highest expactations.

Fantastic staff. Great breakfast. Lovely cocktails. Easily one of the best hotels we've stayed in!
Nothing.

Room was quiet, spacious, well decorated. The entire hotel was a beautifully renovated classic building. Staff was very helpful.
4.5
The staff were exceptionally helpful throughout- both in the hotel and the Olive Tree restaurant. The service was impeccable. Our bedroom was large and comfortable with a decent size en-suite. The fixtures and fittings were all high quality and the whole impression was that this is a quality hotel.

The hotel was in walking distance of the main sites in Bath,
Valet parking of our car,
Waitress service breakfast,
A very good restaurant for dinner
We'd have preferred to have coffee/tea making facilities in our room rather than having to go out of the room to the communal machine and then carry hot liquids along the corridor back to our room.
Clear glass window overlooking the street right next to our WC! This meant we had to keep the blind closed in the bathroom.
Insufficient hanging space for dresses. There was a chest of drawers under the hanging rail in the wardrobe so that only short items such as shirts and jackets could be hung up.
4.5
it is a stunning property. our room was beautiful in every way.
Having to make breakfast reservations if you decided to do it that morning. There was no space for hotel guests.
4.5
the design and little features such as sewing kits and local bath and soap. the staff carrying luggage to your car. smiles and opening the doors for you. old fashioned politeness
the coffee machine was down one floor and then up which could get confusing

Beautiful room, lovely furniture and decor. Staff were attentive too
The only thing was I felt the pillows were a bit thin for my liking but that’s personal preference.

It is convenient. The bedroom well furnished and the bed was comfortable. It’s great to be able to have a cup of tea and a read of the papers after a busy day in Bath.
The room was cold. I rang reception on the first night to ask for their advice and was told that the heating would come on later and that there was a stand alone heater in the room. It never seemed to warm up, and if anything got colder. It transpired that the thermostat had been on frost mode! When I told the man at reception and suggested that housekeeping should check for future guests. Instead of thanking me for drawing it to their attention and a verbal apology, there were just excuses. Very disappointing for a hotel which supposedly values customer service.

Loved the interior design, our specious suite with fireplace, vallet parking & overall attentive service.
Also, the location of the hotel is perfect, walking distance to all main sights.
Combining a stay with The Olive Tree restaurant visit, makes it even more memorable.
4.5
Lovely style, clean, good location and helpful staff.

what didn’t I like. it was amazing in every aspect. service to rooms to the hotel itself. lots of attention to detail.
