Lokatie is super en het hotel ademt echt die knusse engelse sfeer uit. Ontbijt is sober, maar je kunt wel eea van het menu bestellen, waar je dan apart voor moet betalen.

Lovely old rambling building. Bedroom was a good size with lots of character.
Nothing

4.1
Very cosy, comfortable and with the look and feel of countryside England
Nothing to say
4.1
The position and views
Needs refurbishment - carpets threadbare and building work being carried out in the hotel

Nice bed ,nice staff, very good location, excellent parking for rye
Tired hotel, tired room a little more tlc needed with cleaning
More staff needed at breakfast time breakfast was very slow the guys were lovely but rushed off their feet !
4.1
Gentillesse. Situation. Atmosphere chaleureuse. Parking. Grande chambre. Literie confortable.

Beautiful room with several large windows for some lovely views and lots of freebies. Free breakfast buffet was well stocked and our host was kind enough to make us some nice coffees. Would absolutely stay here again!
4.1
The breakfast was fantastic; beautiful decor in reception and dining room; great location. Friendly staff; onsite parking; lovely products in the bathroom.
Shower was a bit on the small side and a little tired. But this is splitting hairs as the room was generally great
4.1
It’s location.
Needed a complete update. The shower was particularly poor and tap was constantly dripping.
4.1
Location was pretty good, breakfast very good, bed in superior room very comfortable. Easy parking!
Dirty windows inside, some dust, room not entirely clean, Most other was all ok!

Location
Shabby, not very clean, vey average service, not particularly friendly.
4.1
Excellent value for money, brilliant location, really helpful staff, massive bed. Whilst the room was a little bit dated, as a base for exploring Rye and the surrounding area i couldn't recommend it highly enough
Shower room was small, but fine for my granddaughter and myself
4.1
The breakfast was average/disappointing.
Our room and facilities was very comfortable and clean.
Disappointing no evening meal served on the nights we were staying
The staff were very pleasant
The room decoration was a little tired, the balcony was in need of decorating .
4.1
the room was fabulous with a balcony as a bonus.
Location was excellent
Great car park and a brilliant price
Thought breakfast could have been better - ie help yourself to juice - tea/coffee . Didnt like the fact that there were no side plates for toast. But the cooked breakfast was lovely although the bacon was cooked a bit too much but thats just a personal thing for me.
4.1
Location was excellent, room was compact but clean.
Shower was extremely small, no hose connection. Limited restaurant on Thursday night. No room service
4.1
Good breakfast, nice quality.
Good room, comfy bed.
Fantastic location.
Easy check in.
Corridors need to be changed to motion sensor lighting and doors need to close quietly to aid sleep.
Bathroom claustrophobic.
Service at breakfast was patchy.
4.1
The atmosphere in the hotel is lovely and relaxing. And the breakfast room and breakfast was fabulous.

Comfy beds and pillows. Right on edge of town. Very easy for walking. Many restaurants and pubs. Parking available. Hotel told us to pop into reception before parking. We pulled up on cobbles outside entrance as instructed and unloaded. Saves carrying luggage up extra flight of stairs from parking lot. We were upgraded because there were rooms. Room was spacious.
Room was a little dated. Balcony, overlooking parking lot, needs to be spruced up with fresh paint, but lovely, sunny area. The driveway into the parking lot was dirt with potholes. Go Slow.

The room was lovely and cosy as described on the website. We appreciated the quietness of the area and the politeness of the staff, as well as their availability to provide the best service. Food was amazing and we were also given few vegan choices for my partner.
The Wifi reception wasn't great in our room, being at the back of the hotel, but spent more time outside so overall it wasn't a huge issue for us.

Nothing
Disappointing!
The photos on the website don't show the reality!
The luxury room for what we paid a serious price was actually a miserable loft.
We have never been in such a bad maintained place!
4.1
The location was ideally located. great views. friendly hosts n staff.
the long climb with heavy cases up very narrow stairs.
4.1
Location was excellent. Staff were very welcoming and efficient. Breakfast was great: lots of choices and good food.
The En-suite was really tiny.
4.1
On arrival the receptionist helped us with the parking and was very friendly
We had a lovely room with a great view and the location was fantastic. Staff were excellent.

it felt like I wasn’t there
4.1
The room was well worth the price. Our room had a comfy super king bed, chaise longue in the large bay window as well as a sofa, plus all the usual facilities (tea/coffee, TV etc). The bathroom was huge, with 2 sinks, shower and a very large bath.
Staff were all super friendly (special mention to the waitress who served our breakfast) & the food itself was lovely.
Parking facilities were a bonus, as it's very hard to find places to stay in Rye that have their own car park.
Just a minor point, really, but I always feel a little bit put out when hotels charge extra to use their car. Personally, I would rather this just be built in to the price of the stay. But, as I said, very minor and £5 for overnight parking wasn't unreasonable compared to some places.
4.1
the staff were very welcoming and helpful
hidden areas of the room were not clean
the shower was not good
4.1
Great location
Friendly staff
Good breakfast
Needs some TLC
4.1
The availability of parking, though I suspect at high season this wouldn't be so easy
