Ok, but not great.

Convenient location close to the lagoon and esplanade. Comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff.

The apartment was a bit dark and dingy and wasn’t the same quality as the apartment in the booking photos appeared to be (I know the apartments are all different, but this one was not nearly as nice as the one shown in the photos). The location was a double-edged sword - it was convenient, but also noisy. We were there on Friday and Saturday nights and could hear music and street noise late into the night. Although we could see the water from our balcony, it mainly faced a parking garage across the road, and wasn’t really usable anyway due to the air conditioning units (however it was good for drying the washing!). The kitchen wasn’t very well equipped.

Nice stay in a perfect location ,

Location of this hotel is Excellent , Rooms are small but quite nice with pleasant bath rooms, WiFi was free.

I was disappointed that Mantra now want to charge for daily room housekeeping , this is the first time i have experienced this and i was very disappointed given the room was over $200 per night, So i will be very cautious booking a Mantra hotel again if this is the attitude

Great hotel, loved the balcony too.

Great location, walking distance to lagoon & main shops. Clean & friendly staff.

I prefer hand held shower but the shower was nice.

Great location but Uncomfortable beds

Location was great

The beds were uncomfortable with a large dip. I bought food for frying, but the stove top did not work. I phoned reception for maintenance person, who never came.

We had a restful, relaxed and enjoyable stay.,

hotel was well located. the room had all the facilities we needed and was very clean.

Tv fox channels were limited.

Refreshing

Location. Right in the middle of downtown Cairns.

Pool wasn't used, as it wasn't inviting enough. Surrounds were mostly cold concrete. Not enough sun.

We loved our short stay and will definitely be back

Mantra Esplanade was in the perfect location for Cairns. We loved looking over the lagoon and being able to walk everywhere. Only minutes from the Marina. The room was the perfect size and beds and pillows were so comfortable. We'll be back

Great place to stay!

Great location, close to restaurants, waterfront, bars, lagoon etc. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable, pillows are comfortable. Hardly any outside noise.

Would love the pool and spa to be heated, it's soooo cold. Also, the gym is quite old and needs updating and the machines are using a weight system that shows the weight plates as 1, 2, 3 etc rather than in kg.

A lovely few days with great accomodation and friendly staff.

location was excellent so handy for the places we wanted to see locally. We did like the fact there was no housekeeping we were able to be a little less fussy when we left to go out. I think we would have needed a dose of housekeeping if we had stayed longer!!

Cannot recommend the Mantra Esplanade more highly as a great place to stay when visiting Cairns.

We had a one bedroom apartment that looked out over the Esplanade to the lagoon and Trinity Inlet. Just amazing view. The apartment was very spacious with all the amenities you could ask for. Washing machine and dryer were a real bonus. The staff are amazing and nothing is a problem for them.

Nothing at all. Would definitely stay there again and will recommend to all our friends.

This was perfect, location, amenities etc... will stay here again on my next visit to Cairns.

Mantra Espanade is perfectly situated.... close to fine dining at The Pier, and a short walk to the Ferry Terminal for island cruises. It's not too far to walk to Cairns Central for shopping, and all the local cafes and restaurants or to the Casino. Woolworths and BWS is just across the street. The room was also clean, tidy and comfortable, and additional towels etc was no trouble at all. All the staff including cleaners were very helpful and friendly.

Nothing, I have no complaints about this venue.

location is fantastic so close to the esplanade and all its attractions. beds were comfy and staff friendly and helpful.

trivial but the pool was absolutely freezing, the esplanade lagoon is only across the road though.

no service whatsoever, no restaurant, no breakfast, no in room dinning , no room cleaning , room cleaning on chargeable basis (heard first time in life after travelling to 7 countries). check in at late night was a horrible experience with the reception of the staff being extremely rude , non-cooperative
