spotlessly clean, well presented and the spa facilities alone were worth the trip. food was excellent, views superb and great value for money
service in the restaurant could be improved. we had booked the dinner deal and ended up having a lengthy and pointless hassle around paying for drinks.
it was sorted but it felt petty and pointless. I had booked through the website rather than via email.

Large room with a fan, comfy bed, large bathroom. Good location. Spa a delight. Super WiFi.
On arrival the reception staff were abrupt. Not welcoming. We were interrupting their day, not at all how we're used to being welcomed at this hotel. Staff in restaurant run ragged forgot some of our order and left us sitting too long. We paid for the meal we ate yet it was on our checkout bill. We proved we'd already paid but the receptionist rolled her eyes and both were accusatory insinuating we were lying. We even showed our bank account transaction from the night before. Weve stayed here 3 times and we left feeling very sad and disappointed. There's a general feeling of mal content and overworked staff. We also didn't appreciate dodging at least 5 dirty laundry piles in the corridor at 9am when we were heading to the pool. A 4 star hotel shouldn't leave dirty bedding from guests rooms outside bedroom doors In my opinion.
4.3
Reception staff very friendly and the room was spacious. The Spa was great.
The shower door was not sealed, neither on side or at the bottom, which meant that we flooded the bathroom after having a shower. We did get new towels as we had to use them all to ensure it wouldn't run into the bedroom, but to be honest, I would have expected that this gets looked at straight away so that this does not happen again but this was not the case, so we had to dry everything off again the next day - did not feel that this was good service.

Everything was perfect. From enquiring about the carpark, to changing my booking (I made it for 1 person not 2 in error) to the service from all the staff in the restaurant, the spa facilities - all brilliant
Nothing

The room was really big. Paid £5 a day for parking.
Free use of the gym and pool which was good. The hotel is walkable distance to town and river which was really good
Paying for parking and breakfast… 2be morning decided to eat elsewhere

Great location. Our room had view over the quayside. Bed comfortable and shower great.
We stayed on Friday and Saturday so it did get somewhat noisy while people were waiting for taxis
4.3
Modern interior, nice pool.
Food to expensive for portion sizes. Relaxation room in spa felt more like a waiting area. Individual changing rooms needed cleaned. Lack of toilets I changing area.
4.3
The staff were great.
The noise in my room from the extractor fan on the roof.

Good check in... easy location to access...a one night Sunday stay that was a good end to a long weekend. We managed to fit in two pool/ sauna sessions into a one night stay. Very easy access to Discovery and the V&A ....both well worth visiting. Our 13 yr old particularly enjoyed Discovery...very good exhibition
Breakfast maybe over priced.

clean and comfortable
There was a party night on in a function room but some spilled out into the hotel bar area, very loud and drunk with one vomiting all over the floor. saying that, the staff were very quick to clean up and deal with the situation.

Excellent value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful.

we had an upgraded room which was lovely apart from the smell in the bathroom. staff are fantastic
we had a foul smelling odour in our bathroom. smelt like there was something wrong with the drains. Reported it but wasn’t offered an apology or a discount on our room. Also only 2 lifts in the hotel, large volume of people trying to use them. Didn’t help when one stopped working and the other was hit or miss
4.3
nice rooms comfortable beds.
one member of staff was rude. I asked her for a bucket of ice she told me they were for the restaurant. also food in restaurant was not up to much.
4.3
very clean, everything I needed was there.
nothing.

Our room was modern, clean and very little noise from the corridor/other rooms. Great view and great location, always able to get a space in the car park. Staff were friendly and helpful although we didn’t need much, check in was efficient.
Slight smell of sewage from the toilet or shower - it did come and go but was a bit off putting. No air con and although we didn’t need it in December we did sleep with the window open so I don’t know if I could stay in the summer which is a shame because we really enjoyed our stay.
Breakfast was a fair bit extra to add on although standard hotel prices but I didn’t think it was worth the extra money and not sure I would bother next time when you are in such a good location for cafes etc.
