Posizione ottima inc entro città, camera e bagno puliti

La camera e il bagno erano puliti, per un soggiorno di poche notti è andata molto bene, per raggiungere la camera però non c'è l'ascensore e ci sono diversi piani di scale un po' strette da fare. Nella descrizione però era tutto segnalato, quindi nessuna sopresa. Non abbiamo avuto modo di usufruire delle parti comuni, ma c'erano salette con spazio per cucinare e aree relax, dove la sera si poteva stare con gli altri ospiti. La posizione è comoda perchè in centro città.

Niente di negativo da segnalare, l'unica nota che posso lasciare è che avevamo una camera che dava sulla strada quindi abbiamo sentito alcuni rumori provenire da fuori, ma bisogna tenere conto che era venerdì sera ed eravamo proprio in centro. Non ci hanno disturbato più di tanto.

Worth the stay

Location, comfy bed,, hot showers and well equipped kitchen. There’s also a reading room, tv and games room. Security is good with keycard access.

Fridge space limited, kitchen reasonably keen but users not always cleaning up after themselves. Heavy, noisy doors and squeaky floors but not surprising in such an old building. It’s an interesting rabbit warren, possibly difficult if you have a problem with stairs.

Midden in het centrum

Midden in het centrum van Dundee. Gebouw is een doolhof van trapjes en kamers, hoekjes, wel gezellig. Gemeenschappelijke ruimtes ruim (behalve de keuken).

Aandacht voor lage emissie zone in Dundee! Parkeren buiten emissiezone vrij ver wandelen. Weinig ruimte in de gemeenschappelijke koelkast. Alles vrij oud.

It was great to be able to lay my head.

Room was a bit smaller than I thought it would be but I had spend a couple of nights in a dorm and it was good to be in the room.

That it was so small but it did the job.

Still really love the building, location and staff. This time I used the kitchen too which could have been a bit cleaner but was spacious and well-stocked both with pans etc but also salt pepper oil and even a mini herb garden so you didn’t have to buy essentials you’d only use 1% of.

Worth the price for a single room! It's very clean and tidy. Suit enough for solo traveler.

Everything is good as expected except a loud noise from neighbors, they seems to talk very loud and party so I get a bit trouble try to sleep at midnight, and hence I can't find anyone or do anything about that. But still, everything other than that is nice!

Was lovely and quiet, clean and comfortable.

The lightbulb in the bed cubby was about 1000W so was too bright to relax and read just before sleep, woke me up more instead of winding down.

A good hostel but still a hostel.

The size of the building abd its character. Chill atmosphere. Free tea and coffee. Showers. Felllow travellers. Proximiry to everything. Secutity. Wifi. Historical info about the building. Comfy bunks with winter sheets and duvet. Not all bunks occupied. Communal areaa nice. Very clean. Central heating. Heavy curtains.Value for money.

My bed didnt smell fresh. The room was sealed do got musty. My roommates disturbing my sleep every night. Shower water temps can fluctuate. Whole building was very cold because its single glazed sash windows. Hand dryer on my floor was broken. Windows needed painting.street noise late at night. from drunks.My charger soccket was against my bunk. Fiddly to access.

Some really nice surprises but kind of what I expected in an 8 bed dorm.

This will sound mad but this place had the best shower I have ever used. I also liked it's central location. It was great for my needs and the room was extremely affordable.

If I wanted a more comfortable experience I would probably book a private room but then you are getting to a similar price of a hotel. The place is busy and as such there is not much in the way of quiet but I expected as much in an 8 bed dorm.
