For our purposes the location just outside Tipperary town on the Limerick road was excellent, allowing us to visit family and friends and then move on to the next stage of our journey. The breakfast was good value and service in the bar was friendly and efficient. The pool allowed for a moderately good swim. The staff were friendly and the young members of serving staff were clearly doing their best.
We ate in the restaurant one evening. The food was good but we had to wait ages for our drinks. In fact I had to go to the bar to get an aperitif for myself and my wife. However the serving staff were polite and apologetic and the manager agreed to provide us with complimentary drinks. Well done for that.
It is a pity that there is no trail around the beautiful grounds to walk or jog. Its monopolised by the golf!

The room was spacious, nice pool it is small but it suited us, also a jacuzzi, sauna & steam room which we love. The food in the bar was fab, perfect for an overnighter. Unfortunately the spa was fully booked, and if you play golf it’s a perfect location.
Not much in the actual town, the bar staff was limited and seemed to struggle keeping up with orders lots of people waiting to be served through out the evening, especially when ordering cocktails.

beautiful hotel, lovely scenery, decent breakfast.
it didn’t bother me, but the room that I stayed in overlooked one of the fairways. this meant that you could hear the ground maintanance from early in the morning - maybe consider earplugs!

Beautiful property and great location.
Specifically opted for this property because of the jacuzzi - but the water was almost cold. Very disappointing.
Also the breakfast had a great selection, but the eggs were like rubber.

The bar food was superb, the sauna, steam room and swimming pool was most enjoyable. The furniture in the room was very comfortable. The showers were amazing in the ensuites!
There was a delay in checking in and checking out for 15 minutes each. There was no atmosphere in the downstairs lobby. There was a large amount of staff in the bar but waiting time to order food was long. Large cracks in the bathroom floor tiles.

Fantastic omlette for breakfast
Asked for a room with a view, which we got & had lovely view of the golf course but our room (204) seemed to be overhead of some sort of boiler - noise late at night and early in morning.
Also, we had booked a triple room but got a large double and single , which was fine, except for the fact the single was so awfully uncomfortable and was the wrong size of mattress for the base. Had to make two requests before the double was made into two singles.
