Sehr schöne, gemütliche und empfehlenswerte Unterkunft! Sehr nette, hilfsbereite und zuvorkommende Gastgeber! Klare Empfehlung!
Absolutes Highlight ist der eigene, sehr gemütlich eingerichtete Pup direkt auf dem Grundstück. Es lohnt sich wirklich hier bei ein paar Guinness zu Abend zu essen!

Ruth was very welcoming and gave us coffee in the lounge area on arrival. Breakfast was good with choice of cooked or continental. A beautiful old country house with extensive gardens. Felt very comfortable there. Enjoyed some good down to earth Irish music and singing in the small hotel on the property next to the country house. Would definitely stay again.

Fab family fun country house with an old worldly feel..beautiful entrance, grounds and the bar and it’s food was just amazing. Breakfast was absolutely delicious & the lovely Ruth honestly couldn’t have done enough for us during our stay! We will be back!!

The food was beautiful both at breakfast and in the pub in the evening. The staff were really nice and very friendly. The history of the house is interesting.
The bathroom had a damp smell and the door didn't shut properly. The appearance of both the bedroom and bathroom would really benefit from the windows being cleaned.

Super friendly staff. The breakfast was good, but you should probably bring your own portable coffee maker if you want a good cup of coffee. Everything is "not a bother" for the staff, they are really that nice.
The pub next door is very good, with decent food and exceptional staff.
The place can be cold in the winter and like any other place in Ireland you'll wonder if the price is worth your money.

The staff, facilities and entire stay were absolutely top rate. It's clear from the first moment how much the owners personally care about their property. Stay here if you want an authentic and memorable experience.
Nothing. I'll definitely return next time I'm in the area.

This is the kind of hotel I’m always hoping to find. Full of charm in a slightly out-of-the-way location. Don’t expect state-of-the-art, modern amenities, such as USB plugs by the bed. This gorgeously situated hotel has a very special country charm, the likes of which I am rarely so lucky to encounter. Very friendly welcome and excellent breakfast. The popular pub next-door serves food, and was lively and very cozy with the wood-burning stove. The hotel is lovingly appointed with a vast collection of antiques and a sumptuous carpet throughout. Absolutely quiet all night, awakened to soft birdsong. Free parking was another bonus. I very warmly recommend this lovely and utterly charming country hotel.

I stayed in Ballyglass Country House at the end of October. From the beginning of my stay to the end, Ruth was such a lovely host who exuded warmth & friendliness. The house itself is like walking into the past but in a good way. It had a lovely calm, cosy energy & despite being an old building it maintained a constant warm temperature even during the night (Cold, wet & stormy night). My room was very clean & cosy and perfect for me. I was there just for one night however I could happily have added on another couple. There is also a small pub in the grounds that serves food & had a good variety of options on the menu. The whole experience was very good value for money
