Situé loin du centre ville .
Equipement un peu daté

Emplacement privilégié
Les lits jumeaux sont un peu justes

Great location & spotless

handy for port, yet easy to access town via tram service. mini kitchen . comfy beds

Room had enough space, you get what you book. Nothing fancy, but everything in good shape and it was all fine. Quiet neighborhood, 20 mins with tram to city centre. Very good bakery (Quellier) and supermarkets nearby.
The beds (mattresses) could be more comfy, they are really soft.

We stayed here on our way home from Spain. Well placed in Caen for the Ferry Terminal at Ouistreham. It is well located for a supermarket and there are a few places to eat within a kilometre, though probably not the best Restaurants in Caen. The car Park was very busy when we arrived but we managed to get a space, there seems to be a University Campus next door so maybe that was why it was busy as it emptied later on.First impression was that it was a little basic but once in our room it was actually pretty good. We had a studio which had a small kitchen area but quite well equipped, 2 ring hob, kettle, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, microwave, even a mini dishwasher with a dishwasher tablet provided and some washing up liquid. there was a couple of saucepans and a large frying pan, which was adequate to cook a simple meal. Crockery, glasses, cutlery and kitchen utensils were also provided.
The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and a king size, there was a small table and 2 chairs so sitting to eat a meal was possible.
There was also a TV. The bathroom had a decent shower, shower gel was provided. There was also a hairdryer.
Breakfast was provided in the room rate but we prepared our own in the room, from what we were told the breakfast was quite basic.
There are no reception staff overnight so you are given a code for the main door.
We would use this place again if travelling through this area.

I liked that the hotel was close to the place were I had to work. The bed was comfy and the hotel was quiet and clean.
I didn't liked the breakfast (only a few options). It was very cold in the room. The hotel is far from the city center and only a restaurant is nearby.

Arrived late, nobody was at the reception, neither a message or mail was sent to me with instructions concerning how to get into my room. After several phone calls, and no reply as the call center was not operating after 21:00, i had to move with my 2 kids to find another hotel. Bonus: they charged me twice my credit card. Scams.

Staff was helpful and the breakfast was very good.
The room is quite basic. The curtains to darken the room would be helpful to have a better sleep.

Thé bed was new and confortable!
Under construction, there was a hole in the bedroom door but you could see they were updating. With upgrades completed, I’m sure it will be a ten and not a 7

We had an issue with our stay. There was a burning smell from the bedside lamp when turned on. When we contacted the Apartotel helpline they said there was nothing g that could be done despite staying in the room with two small children and feeling there was a direct risk to safety. Feel this is not acceptable and would not stay here again. Also the bed linen had stains on the sheets and curtains in the room had holes in them.
Having bedside lamps electrics that are safe.Having someone on duty at the reception to possibly sort out any apartment safety issues. Do not feel it is good enough to say that nothing can be done. Phone call made at 21:15 to the Cherbourg apartotel branch as the Caen reception was closed.

very easy to find , clean and in a quiet location
we arrived after the reception was closed. we had made arrangements to get in via a key pad. The instructions were not clear how to use the key pad. we managed to get in as someone had ordered a takeaway! the instructions were in the key safe inside! this was a stressful episode, 10. 30 pm with four tied grandchildren.!,
