It’s position.
The carpets and furnishings need replacing or cleaned. Unfortunately some guests have no respect and ruin it for others.
4.0
Location, food and people
Some of the cabinets looked like someone had lit a fire on them at one stage. The spa didn’t have steps up into it which made it a bit unsafe for someone as short as myself.

The onsite restaurant has great food. Lovely heated big bathroom. Close to shops.
Kitchen is okay for a short term stay. Outside light shining into bedroom.

Water was hot. Reception very obliging.
Heater took a good half hour to work. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable and smelt of bleach. Shower fell down and soaked the bathroom! Arrived late at night to find no bottled water in the rooms or dispenser. Tap water was undrinkable.

Rooms warmed for arrival. The door cant be kept open to bring in case.we locked ourselves out due to this...i was on a wheelie walker and unwell had to wait on a very cold night for my husband to go back to reception to gain access again- there needs to be a better door management

Location

Great location close to everything you need for essentials.
Need to update the carpets and need to invest in some good quality mattresses or toppers as the beds are like concrete to sleep on.

Room was very spacious with comfy bed. Great pressure and hot water in shower. No need to leave area as the hotel bistro is next door. $10 voucher for bistro was a bonus,

Its getting a little dated but is always very clean and well presented. perfect for an overnight between destinations and accompanying tavern with meals means no need to drive for dinner.

Great location and amenities.
Trouble booking in as flew in to Launceston from Perth and once we got baggage and then picked up hire car it was just after 8pm and all doors were locked and unfortunately we didn’t see button for night manager. The young lady who came to help us was lovely and a credit to your establishment.

Did not like anything about this Motel
NO
The carpet was filthy, room smelled
The photos on the web site are false advertising, did not display the true image of the very outdated disgusting carpet, plus soiled furniture in the room.
We booked for three nights, did not stay even one night.
Moved out within hour of arriving.
We were offered another room but were so disgusted we declined.
Absolutely no chance of refund not even for two nights.
Not a good look for Tasmanian tourism.

Had a cozy feel about it. Very roomy and had everything we need plus some.
The bed was very hard for me but we didn’t mind (can’t please everyone as some guests like a firm bed) I hated the fact that other guests were smoking at their door next to us, we had a baby so the smoke was coming into our room. Again, not the property’s fault.
4.5
The rooms are a good size and everything needed for a quick stay and an easy drive into town

Children sport trip. Perfect for a quick stay. Clean and comfortable.
Rooms had no dividers or door to bunk area

Room was clean and spacious. Kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge + cutlery, plates, bowls and mugs etc. Bathroom had been renovated. Pool was clean and a good size for the kids for a swim, spa and sauna.
The kids playground needs updating desperately. It would also be a lot safer for there to be a footpath from the rooms towards reception and the restaurant entrance.

Good location and close to everything you need !

The pool and spa
Beds were as hard as concrete had to go to Kmart at midnight to buy blow up beds to sleep on . The hot water wouldn't work had to call up 3 times . The heat pump didn't work either .
3.5
- Room location.
- Comfy bed with electric blankets.
- Loved the style of the bathroom!
- Lovely staff.
- Pool & Sauna.
- Cleanliness of the room, ( Stains throughout the carpet, Marks on the walls, Cracks throughout the ceilings. Dirty manhole with finger & hand marks all over it )
- Design of the shower, ( Water would easily leak out of the shower bay )
- Very noisy pipes from both our bathrooms & next doors.
- Outdated TV, with poor quality & no options for Netflix ect.
- Spa wasn’t heated, it was absolutely freezing so there for we couldn’t use it.
- Noisy neighbours, we did complain however it didn’t make a difference I was kept up until 3-4am by the loud talking & the TV of next door but I didn’t want to ring up again and wake up the lovely staff.
