It was like an oasis in the middle of the city, all site seeing are reachable within walking distances.

Oussama was a great host who facilitated the shisha and any of our needs. The dinner was good, though massively overpriced. Also, the staff was really nice.
I believe that if you want to have a fancy hotel, you should ensure hygiene, especially when you are located in the Medina. This wasn’t the case. During the night, the hotel belonged to the cockroaches. They were big, and were the rulers of the bathroom, which was very uncomfortable

Beautiful courtyard and great breakfast. The beds are comfy and the view from the terrace is amazing. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us with everything, so thank you for that :)
There's no doors on the bathroom in the double rooms. Also, we reserved 4 rooms and 3 of them were great, but one of the rooms was stuffy because the windows couldn't be open.

big inner courtyard and open rooftop space and very friendly staff

The Riad was fantastic and very quiet. We loved the rooftop terrace and the courtyard was lovely for breakfast in the morning.
I have to mention the amazing service that we received from both Hamza and Ali who went out of their way on numerous occasions to help with advice, booking bus tickets restaurants and hammam they really are a credit to this fantastic riad, thanks again Hamza. We would definitely recommend this beautiful Riad and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We like our stay. Staff was very friendly and we love the tea.
It was noisy and difficult to fall asleep. But I thing earplugs can help a lot :)

This was the nicest Riad we visited in Morocco! The inner courtyard is nice and large and stays cool despite it being hot outside. There is a nice view of part of the city and area to soak up some sun on the rooftop and our room was huge and gorgeous. The bathroom attached to the room was also really nice which isn't super common in Morocco where most bathrooms seem to have been designed by people who have never used a shower or shared a room with a partner before. The guy working at reception was super helpful and kind offering us recommendations and even gave us some cash so we could grab dinner without first needing to go to the atm (to be repaid of course). I highly recommend this place! We stayed here 2 nights before going to Chefchaouen for a night and returning to Fes for a final night at another place so we could fly out. The last place cost more and was supposed to be the nicest but I wish I had booked another night here!
Room I chose was gorgeous but right next to the main courtyard. There's not heaps of privacy but we didn't have any issues.

Be aware that there are no real bathroom doors in the room, at least in hours - there was only a shower curtain.

Staff and Riad are lovely
Nothing, all was good 👍

Upon arrival, the reception was friendly and nice
We are a group of young people, but too old for this place. There was noise from the lobby until late at night (everything is very loud and sounds through), after long days of sightseeing, I would prefer to rest, not to hear loud music.
Breakfast was nothing special. At least when we went, there wasn't much to take.
The rooms were large but dark. In one room (on the ground floor) the air heat did not work on the first day and it was very cold there, which made me sick, in addition, the noise from the lobby was very loud. Another room was on the third floor, but even there was loud noise, the water pressure in the shower was practically non-existent. Third room didn't have toilet door, but was okay overall (everything worked).
In the Booking.com system, it was written that the payment is made automatically from credit card. When we arrived, the host did not ask anything about payment, and on the day of departure we waited in the lobby for a long time, but there was no staff. Afterwards, I wrote to the host if everything is correct and the payment works. It turned out that he had preferred payment on the spot, but we were already in another city. I offered to pay by bank transfer, but that didn't suit him and I had to start looking for a bank in the next town to make a cash deposit to him.
After the payment in bank, I wrote to the accommodation (who communicated with me via Whatsapp) and informed them, in response I received a GIF where a man throws a woman to the ground with a big trash can :) after what they wrote that the gif had to go to someone else, but after a long discussion about payment, it seemed particularly ugly.

The staff were amazing and helpful at all times, the riad is lovely and peaceful with palatial-sized rooms, and the value for the money paid was very high. If travelling to Fès, I’d definitely recommend this riad.

The staff was extremely kind and the cost for the value is amazing!
The breakfast was okay, room was cold as there was no space heater in the larger room, shower was part of the bathroom so taking a shower got alot of the bathroom wet. No inner courtyard feel like the classic riad but nice outdoor vibe to it.

Hamza and Ali are what make Riad Razane Fez so special! They are kind and attentive and go out of their way to create a special stay for their guests. We booked a tour of the medina, travel to Chefchaouen, and the dessert through them—the prices are good, and the service is excellent. Definitely a good choice!
No complaints - we were here in February so the room was cold but that's to be expected. Pack layers.

Hamza and the rest of the team are awesome. I 100% recommend staying here and thrusting the hosts to help you with tips about what to do and where to go!
If anyone I know goes to Fez, I will recommend Riad Razane!

After booking only one night, we had to extend our stay since it's Really a very warm place that feels really like home ..
An Exceptional welcome! Hamza is of an incredible kindness. He knew how to answer all our requests, advised us of very good place, did not hesitate to get up early, contact the good people according to our needs. We really feel at home in this Riad. Special mention for Hafida who prepares very good dish and is adorable.
The rooms are traditional, well equipped and clean.
The location is ideal and close to all the must-sees of Fez. A few minutes walk away, there is a cab station.
If I were to come back to Fez, this is where I would go.

Ali and everyone at the Riad was really lovely and welcoming, and gave us great advice as to what we could do in Fez and where to eat. Really clean room and good location

Nicest riad we have stayed in in Morocco. Palace restored with care and taste. Very large room and bathroom.
A bit cold and hard to find.

it’s a lovely, clean Riad- a bit noisy in rooms when people are on the center patio but rooms are nicely appointed and staff are very nice, very helpful in a pinch. the tagine we had in the Riad was AMAZING! the best we had on our trip. Ali and Hamza were very kind and helpful when our Sahara tour operator failed to pick us up and Ali got us back on track without any fuss.
it was in the heart of the non-touristic Medina, so it’s a bit far from the Medina’s points of attraction but it’s also a much more local/authentic experience.

top location, the astonishing riad is almost a museum, beautiful terrace and shared spaces. breakfast was very good. on top of this, Hamza was incredibly kind and accommodating, I have never seen such a top host. he also was available to get us some food for dinner when we arrived at late evening. the price was convenient as well. definitely first option in Fez.

This riad in family ownership is an amazing place to stay. The building gives you a sense of the Arabic heritage in Morocco. The riad has a small fountain and even trees under which you can have breakfast. We got a room upgrade for free. The room was very spacious and had a balcony. We even got some food for our early departure. The staff is friendly and supportive.
Breakfast was supposed to be served by 9 a.m., which took a bit longer. But it's very tasty.

- Amazing staff, probably nicest people we met in Morocco, with lot of advice
- Very nice inner courtyard of riad
- Great rooftop terrace
- Super cheap
- If you are young person ,looking for party this place will be 9/10 or even higher for you.
- this riad had very party hostel atmosphere which is not bad if it is what you are looking for but we came for sightseeing with my elderly mother and this suited us not well. There was even a party running till 1 am in main courtyard and since all room windows are directed this way, you could hear everything.
- breakfast are served only from 9:00 am (in reality 9:15) which is not great if you have tours or want beat the crowds to attractions.Though breakfast itself were good and plentiful.
- It is located in very Moroccan part of old town without some tourist restaurants etc and it is like 15-20 minutes walking to "tourist" parts

The people staying and working in the riad. The riad is from 1300 and lots of historic features/design. We stayed in the garden of the riad from the afternoon until late in the evening. They even had a birthday party for one of the guests and everyone was invited!

This riad is fabulous. The central courtyard architecture is amazing. There is ample comfortable seating to enjoy the ambience of the courtyard.
Ali and all the staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful without being pushy. Ali speaks excellent English and is a mine of information.
They are happy to cook evening meals which have divine flavours.
The breakfast selection is extensive and varies from day to day with breads, doughnuts, cakes, pancakes, yoghurt, eggs, olives, bananas, orange juice tea & coffee.
The bed and pillow were comfortable.
The shower had good flow and hot water.
There is a nice terrace on the roof too.
It is located not far from the Chouara Leather Tannery.
We can't recommend this place highly enough.

Hafida and Ali were amazing. They helped us with our many requests and were patient and friendly throughout our stay. Most impressive was how Ali helped my partner with packing his bicycle. Hafida is an AMAZING cook. Worth the price of dinner.
Nothing really.
