Room was clean and spacious, great location.
Breakfast was good and at arranging time if you have tours plan early.
Staff could have been more friendly.
Breakfast : slightly more options could have been nice too.
Massages are overpriced for the prices range in the area. Will recommend to look for external ones.

Location was great:close to the train station and bus stop to Machu Picchu, many restaurantes are close by. Staff are very nice and helpful. Has a nice view of a river.
nothing really

The melodic view of Urubamba River! Could sleep with the sliding glass door open, once the various hotels restaurants exhaust systems stopped releasing smells for the night (I’m vegan, so the scent of animal flesh burning was not appealing). The lovely people who worked at this hotel makes for an even more pleasant stay. I’ve already left a glowing review for them via Travelocity, but it’s worth mentioning again how wonderful Chef Tina, waitress Ruth Quispe, front desk Manager (forgot her name but she gave me a BEAUTIFUL room on a higher floor, to my surprise), front desk attendants Marquiño Silver, and Percy Rodriguez who surprised me with a purely vegan Peruvian quinoa dessert the last night I was there - devoured under the early evening stars from the small balcony overlooking the majestic Urubamba River. I cannot forget the kind housekeeper who cleaned the water off the bathroom walls after a jacuzzi malfunction. THANK YOU all, wonderful people.
The exhaust of various restaurants and flowing runoff from their kitchens into the Urubamba River below. I wanted to form a cleanup crew to take out plastic debris, alas my visit was not long enough.

Very nice hotel. The room was big with a very nice view to the river and with a nice jacuzzi. The staff was outstanding and the breakfast very good. Next time in Machu Picchu we will be there again.

the view is nice and the room is clean
I sincerely don’t recommend anybody to live in this hotel because it’s freeze me out. can you imagine that this hotel doesn’t design any heater or air conditioner in their room?
Instead they got a fireplace , it’s a thing that you need to call service to light it up but only continue for an hour , THIS IS A DECORATION to make their hotel looks beautiful but only not for you.
And they have a compensation form inside which wrote: if you lost the room key, $10, if you stained the towel, $30. I lived in so many hotels and never see any one having these unbelievable rule.
AND this is the most expensive hotel I ever lived in Peru but IT SERVICE is the WORST:)
watch out

Excellent location, only 1 minute walk to the Machu Picchu shuttle station. Breakfast is very good. Room is beautiful. Bed is comfortable. Staffs are nice (a girl tried to help us by killing mosquitoes together, but she refused to change room for us:(
Mosquito Warning!! I can understand the hotel is located next to the river where attracting mosquitoes, but there’re tons of mosquitoes!!!! My mom and I spent 2 hours on killing mosquitoes. We tried to kill them all, but we couldn’t. If you don’t want to wake up with thousands of mosquito bites, you have to clean the room first. I think the hotel has the responsibility on killing the mosquitoes, not us. It’s very unacceptable.

The location was optimal near train station without being too noisy and near buses to Machu Picchu.
Our room had openings that allowed mosquitos inside- through the sides of the balcony door and ventilation openings in the bathroom. We killed >40 mosquitos but still got bitten >20 times.

the staff was welcoming and super friendly, the location was great very close to many restaurants, an atm, the train and bus stations, but to be fair everything is pretty close in Aguas Calientes. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, they had tea and water available for free. The breakfast was included and delicious (it’s a typical Peruvian breakfast, so don’t expect American style).
there are a LOT of bugs in Aguas Calientes, so it’s easy for them to get in your room when people are coming in and out of the hotel. but they warn you and have mosquito zappers in each room. Be prepared to have a bug killing session before bed as there’s still bound to be some mosquitoes and maybe a spider (let the spiders live).

Facilities were very clean, spacious room, good hot tub, hot water with nice pressure, very comfy bed and pillows, awesome river view and perfect sound for a deep rest.
The breakfast was very good, with lots of options.
Zenaida decorated the room for our honeymoon with a bed cover in roses, she had us cake and treats for my birthday, she made our experience so much better. Thankyou! By the way all the staff was super kind and helpful.

The staff were very welcoming and warm. My room had an amazing view over the river. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom facilities exceptional: a spa bath overlooking the river.
I hadn't realised that the rail tracks were right in front of the hotel.

Beautiful and clean room (only non functional).
The Wi-Fi didn't connect at the room so we had to use our internet from our phones; the bathtub didn't fill so we couldn't bathe there only in the shower; the fireplace is made to be lit by gas but wasn't working so the receptionist brought alcohol and the fire did not last long and did not heat the room; and observe that there was no heating equipment in the room; there was a smart TV but , again, without the Wi-Fi we could only watch the canals that were there; at last, the receptionist didn't seem prepared to attend (although she was working there for 5months as she told us), she was rude, did not know how to register our passport nor could give us some information. All in all, it was not a cheap hotel and it left us disappointed as Machu Picchu Pueblo is a small city and we were counting to have a nice place to stay.

rooms are very comfortable and looks to be newly renovated. breakfast was decent. and the small balcony over the river was amazing. I loved the sound of the river at night but might not suite everyone. Wi-Fi worked well.

Loved virtually EVERYTHING - the decor, location in the heart of the town and on the edge of the roaring river, the beautiful bathroom and fireplace, the comfy beds. Also the breakfast was very good with a wonderful view as well.
No hot water the night we arrived so we could not have our spa bath which we were dying for! Instead we had a tepid shower. The next morning my husband had another shower and the water was warmer, but it was unfortunate we didn't get to use the bath together as we only had one night at the hotel.

Right by the train station with lots of restaurants close by. we had a room with a river view which was fabulous!

We loved everything about this hotel. The view of the river was amazing, the beds were comfortable, and the jacuzzi tub was an unexpected surprise... all for a fair price. We highly recommend this place!
