The park has loads of amenities, including a large pool, spa, basketball and tennis court. Our cabin was large, clean and spacious. Close to all the major attractions in Canberra.
The bar and dining area were just very crowded and messy. But I think this was because a large school camp was based at the park.

Activities for the kids. Pool, spa, basketball, tennis, volleyball, soccer courts, playgrounds
Buffet breakfast, could have had more variety. Arrived at 8.30, 1 hour after it started and not many options for the children. There could have been more pastries as advertised and fried eggs should have been cooked more.
7.0
Wonderful resort facilities with pool (although not heated), spa, tennis, playgrounds and indoor games centre.
The cabin was very compact and the kitchen wasn’t equipped well.
It seemed a bit pricey for how basic it was.

The facilities are amazing, kids had a ball. So much recreational activities for them. Loved the restaurant and bar overlooking the pool at the property.
The cabin is very overdue for an upgrade. It wasn’t comfortable as it was so old and the beds were very noisy so not a very good sleep. I would have given better review if the cabin was in better condition.

So many thinga for the kids to do here
Shower could get updated but the pressure wqs realy good pressure.

great facilities at the park, especially when travelling with kids.
Our wasn't very clean. Bedspread in the main bedroom had a very questionable stain on it.

Great facilities for families.
The cabins weren’t very clean. Tile floors and bathroom were in need of a good scrub. Could be improved with some basic maintenance too. The toilet roll holder was coming off. The corner kitchen cupboard fell off (however was repaired promptly during our stay).

Lovely area, staff at front desk were incredible.
Ants all over the cabin, from the kitchen to the bedrooms. Plates and cutlery were dirty with dried on food.
Bathroom door wouldn't close, TV was broken.
(Maintenance team was lovely and super quick to help with door and TV so they get 100000/10)
Was supposed to get complimentary housekeeping but all they did was knock on the door and ask if we wanted towels. They did nothing else. Spoke to reception who apologised and offered for them to come back the next day but there was no point as we were leaving the day after.

Great place. Good location. A lot of activities within the park. Clean accommodation. I stayed in the Ridge View Cabin for reference.
The only downside was that you could hear the main road in the morning and evening.

Lovely location at the foot of Black Mountain and short drive to Canberra attractions. We stayed in a basic cabin so knew what to expect. It was cold but the aircon seemed to cope. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meal at their restaurant.
Tiny tv. Some corners of floors hadn’t been cleaned well. One of our coffee cups had to be scrubbed out before being used.
9.0
Kids loved all the playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts. Chips and pizza at the restaurant. The cabin was clean, cosy and nicely renovated.
My only complaint was that the bed could have used a topper. The kids singles had a mattress protector that made them softer and I was a bit jealous.
5.0
Great facilities and lovely gardens and outlook. Fantastic location.
Our first villa the aircon was not working and the villa was not very clean.

Buffet breakfast for additional cost was enjoyed by the family. The layout is complicated but fairly easy to find where to go with instructions. Location is good for Canberra.
No insulation, heater takes 20 minutes to start putting out warm air, beds are ridiculously uncomfortable, pillows are bad, even with 2. Bathrooms need renovation. TV is very small and didn't have all the standard channels. Not enough milk supplied for tea. Large bedroom too small to open a suitcase.

Love this place so much to do for the family lots of outdoor bbq areas plus the restaurant and bar. Buffet breakfast was great too and reasonably priced.
Beds were a bit hard but ok…
Breakfast - be good if they could make sure the dishes are kept being refilled so there wasn’t a waiting time. Was also hard to get a mug to make own coffee and the wait times for the paid coffee was a bit long.

Overall the stay was great. Staff were friendly and the Facilities were well above what you would ordinarily expect from a tourist park. The common areas are fantastic.
The unit we stayed in was good and generally clean, but some areas could use a little more TLC . The air conditioner is overdue for a service based on the noise it was making and the double bed could use a new mattress as well. Some of the light fittings had dead globes. Everything else was great.

- Facilities are great for children of all ages.
- Restaurant reasonable prices.
- great location having short distances to most attractions
- helpful staff
- kitchen in cabin plenty of cutlery, plates, storage
- freezer worked very well
My children and I stayed in the Grevillea Cabin #106, it had a very bad urine type smell. Staff were quick to assist and change us to cabin #104 cabin. Smell was still there but not as bad.
- The dryer did not work
- tv kept flickering black/white to colour, I noticed cords all damaged behind TV.
- none of the electrical items had tags that they had been safety checked.
- my children found food wrappers under their beds
- the aircon was full of dust and struggled to keep cabin cool on the hot days. My son’s allergies were set off by the dust when in use.
- sports equipment all damaged, having a hire system or keeping maintained would allow equipment to be better enjoyed.
- no bike hire
- bathroom in cabin very squashy to get in past toilet and door
- Rec room had lots of broken equipment so it was hard to play all games/activities available.

I just love Alivio!
From talking with the staff to book through the check in and onto stay and check out, all so pleasant, easy and efficient.
My family enjoy the facilities, especially the spa !!!
The new upgrade cabin was amazing!
Parking easy. Coffee on site great!
Gee I cannot think of a single negative or constructive criticism to say! Thank you !!
Absolutely nothing I did not like

The park is well laid out with great facilities. Availability of food etc was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Heating was a little slow to warm cabin

The house wasn’t heated despite letting them know that we will arrive within specified time. No heaters in individual room. Only 2 portable heaters were provided. One room were left cold. Pillows were so thin and worn out. Overpriced.
8.0
Air Conditioning was good to have in the cold Canberra weather.
Good value for money.
Sliding door for the bunk bed room was a little temperamental.
Pillows could have been more comfortable

clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff

the kids play area and pool
the cabin was awful. old, tired and tiny. I had to ask for the kitchen table to be wiped down and whatever had been spilt on the walls to be cleaned before I’d let the kids in. on the second night of our stay I had to ask a friend to host my Husband and 2 of my 3 children just so we could all get some sleep. the worst. i understand you get what you pay for but your website is far from honest about the accomodations.

leaking shower kept me up all night

great price, great location
found some minor housekeeping issues, but when mentioned to front desk staff, they were very apologetic and took note of my comments
8.0
great area, facilities for families are exceptional.
some of the cabins are dated and need the kitchen supplies updated
6.0
The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great having a restaurant on site and the food was good.
The mattresses were terrible. They were worn out. Also the spare blanket smelt terrible and there were stains on the bed covers making us wonder how often they are washed.
9.0
This is a great tourist park for families. The facilities are great, cabins have all the basics you would need.
Set on the edge of bush land, there are lots of walks, with wildlife.
The only let down was the buffet breakfast, as everything was cold. But the grandsons still enjoyed the experience.
