Close to town centre.
The room was clean and tidy, but it needs to be fitted out properly for a guest. The curtains are dreadful. Quick trip to Spotlight would fix that. The hallway also needs to be empty of 'junk'. Even if rooms are being re-furbished, the ones being let should not put up with tables/cupboards etc.

Aesthetic was amazing, good location, great price, friendly staff.
TV was small, no microwave in room, no sink in bathroom
2.5
Comfortable bed
Location was excellent
The reception girl did not tell me my room was outside so I climbed the stairs and had to come down and ask where room was!!
Disappointed as I assumed I would be inside. That was the reason I booked in- stay IN the Motel.

The balcony is a lovely place to sit in and watch the sunset over the parklands.
Some of the fittings are a little out of date and the phone and tv didn't work properly - room 15.

The bathroom was spacious and the water hot. Good variety of cereals, fruit and toast to choose form. Good location in North Adelaide, close to medical services
Room 10 tucked away next to the garden out the back was very small and could only be accessed from outside the main building. The drive way and car park park with numerous large water filled pot holes had to be carefully traversed to reach the room. A large amount of cleaning and other equipment was stored outside and opposite the bedroom door. Due to the size of the room only a double bed fitted inside. The bedside lamp was cracked and peeling but it did work. This is an old building renovated some time ago. The other rooms are better than this one and if you are looking for an overnight stay and not a property with ambience, and then this is for you.

The facility provided breakfast ( very basic but handy) and they had washing machine facilities also which was perfect for us travellers. Service was great and location was good for us!
The rooms are dated but that’s the vibe of the whole building as it is very old

Location to the city and family.
Old and needs a lot of work....tiles falling of walls, floorboards sqeeking, old curtains, old and outdated everything, extremely basic breakfast.

The Lodge itself, the age and grandeur of the building. Delighted with upgrade to a deluxe room.
4.5
Simple cereal and toast with good coffee
For me with a problem knee, the stairs were not great. But owners and staff assisted where they could.

The place is well connected to all the tourist attractions through city connector bus. There are good food joints on the O'Connell street within 500 meters from the property. Though the property is vintage, it is very well maintained and has all the modern facilities. Rooms were spacious and clean. The lounge is cozy and has a good number of books. Breakfast is good to get you started for a touristy day!! Andrew and David are very friendly and helpful hosts!

Good location in North Adelaide giving us a great base to work from. Group of six in three rooms. very comfortable. Staff very helpful and accommodating.
Huge sale board out front is a distraction.

Room was spacious, clean and tidy and the shower was a treat. Bed was comfortable enough. Continental breakfast is my usual breakfast so it worked for me. Location, only 500 meters for either O'Connell St or to Melbourne Street and both streets have good enough restaurants/pubs.

This is in an historic building located on the edge of the park in a quiet area with a lot of beautiful old houses, but close to a lot of good restaurants (O'Connell Street). It's about a 20 min walk from the edge of the CBD, or there's a bus option. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a sink, mini-fridge, kettle and desk. The room also had a heater/air conditioner. It was convenient to have breakfast provided. Staff were very helpful and responsive and everything was kept quite clean. I felt safe walking around the area on my own, even at night.
Overall, I was happy with my choice and would stay here again. However, a few observations: the room had limited natural daylight, and there is some noise from airplanes coming in to land in Adelaide. The breakfast was fine, but pretty basic (toast and weetbix). It is an older building, which comes with charms, but also the expected minor disadvantages, and generally slightly less comfortable furnishings.
