да в целом неплохой гест близко к центру убуда, понятно, что какого-то лакшери за такую цену ожидать не стоит, но все что нужно есть. номера простые, санузлы тоже. территория зеленая, есть бассейн, хозяин радушный, завтраки приносят в номер.

сок на завтраке больше похож на воду

Perfekte Unterkunft für Ubud!

Wir sind schon zum 3. Mal bei Jiwa und lieben es dort einfach! Wir hatten ein super schönes Zimmer (Nr.10) am Pool, wo es sehr ruhig war. Das Zimmer war mit allem ausgestattet, was wir so brauchten und es war sauber. Die Anlage dort ist sehr nett und das Personal und Jiwa sowieso - so herzlich und hilfsbereit. Und die Lage ist einfach unschlagbar - in 3 Minuten ist man auf der Hauptstraße, überall sind Cafés und Restaurants und Shoppingmöglichkeiten. Wir kommen wieder!

Wenn uns etwas einfallen würde, dann höchstens, dass das WLAN etwas langsam war, aber das war auch alles :)

Friendly hosts and a fantastic location

The location was incredible - just down the street from the bustle and only a few metres from an excellent Warung. The hosts and staff were very welcoming. It’s a family owned business and they will happily chat about anything you want to know. You select what time you want breakfast and the timing is impeccable. Every day our breakfast arrived within a couple of minutes of the requested time. I recommend ordering the fried rice and the herbal tea.

Our bathroom could have been cleaner. The walls were tiled and it seems they hadn’t been wiped down recently.

A little gem in the heart of ubud

The location was fantastic. Just a few minutes walk from a laundromat, the main road, motorbike hire place and some great Warungs! Jiwa was an amazing host and helped us out calling the ferry companies every day to try book us a fast boat during the storms. Hiring a motorbike through him was easy, although the bikes are old they work well. his family were all lovely, Bruno the pug is so friendly, and the pool was very relaxing. Breakfast was delicious!

nothing significant- but occasionally the hot water in the shower didn’t work (perhaps if other guests were showering?) and the wifi was quite slow during the storms (again, perhaps not something that could be helped).

Good location, the room is clean and comfortable

good quiet location and near to centre of Ubud and easy to walk around for restaurants .

the road is too narrow towards the hotel. The bathroom is very basic, could have some improvement such as providing shampoo etc.

Really good!

Everything was perfect: - the breakfast; especially the banana pancakes, best in Bali - the staff; really friendly, helpful, caring, funny and nice - the room; clean, comfortable beds (especially loved our room at the second floor with the view on the garden and pool), - driver; we had our favorite driver via Jiwas (one of the family members) - great value for money; you get way more quality then the price would assume - great location; beautiful and great warungs/restaurants where you can eat at a armslength away Thanks for everything!

excellent place - we will return

very comfortable room and excellent breakfast, friendly service, happy to help with anything. Warung Krishna opposite was superb, laundry service just up the road very good.

Pool area could be a bit smarter. Rooms near the road were noisier than further back into the property.

We recomand this accomodation !!!

Nice family, nice place, near center of Ubud, good pool, very clean, large varity of breakfast. They have a cute dog and birds.

As a sugestion the towels and the linen will be better if they can change it upon 2 or 3 days. We stayed 6 nights and they hadn’t change them.

Great place to chill

Great location, just a short walking distance from the main street, lovely staff, awesome banana pancakes and Bali coffee..There was everything needed in the room, such as an air con, safe, kettle, even hairdryer. The patio is really gorgeous, well kept, super green, and full of beautiful tropical flowers. Jiwa and his family were great hosts, always there for you if you need them, but happy to fully respect your privacy.

Jiwa Homestay Awesome and Authentic

Such friendly staff. Pool clean. Room excellent. Good value. Krisna Warung nearby great for cheap authentic meals. Definitely stay here again when in Ubud

Superb

I liked everything. I had the room above the swimming pool and it was fabulous. The room has everything, the wifi works very well (zoom call at EU time, so Ubud night, worked very well). The breakfast was very delicious and the staff lovely.

Honest opinion

I totally recommend Jiwa's guest house. Something really remarkable is the location, it's close to everything in Ubud. Also, the host is super nice, he will explain to you whatever you wanna know about Ubud, hindu religion, renting motorbike, transport... Also the rooms are pretty big, comfortable, clean, they serve you an amazing breakfast in your room, the price is fair... What else could you ask for?

The location, quiet but next to the centre, super comfortable beds, the guesthouse lets you see a Bali family home from the inside. I left one day early and they did not make me pay foe the last night. It was not expected and quite nice from them

Amazing accommodation and an even better host!

Great location in the “center” of Ubud. Awesome breakfast which you order a day before and is brought onto the patio of your room. We loved everything about Jiwa’s House and will definitely come back in the future! Thank you.

Great stay!!

Location was great! Such a beautiful quiet property. Very lush and green with a gorgeous little pool. Rooms were basic, but nice and everything you would need. You could choose what you wanted for breakfast and when, this was fantastic!

Very good

Good location just back from main street with little noise. Room was great and had a big insect net around the bed which you need. Really nice set up with loads of plants around the hotel, the hotel dog Bruno also had a big belly and loved rubs so extra points.

Shower was pretty clogged with limescale so the water trickled out. Asked about scooter and laundry on arrival and staff said they would ask the owner, never got a response. Surely the staff already know how much their scooters cost to rent out? Ended up getting scooter and laundry done elsewhere. Sheets on the bed were abit yellow too (see photo)

Just Perfect!

We loved everything at Jiwa's Hou se. Great position in Ubud but in a very quiet street. The room and bathroom were clean and breakfasts were really good. We once had to wake up early (4am) and they prepared us boxes with fruits, boiled eggs and toasted bread. We also loved their well-kept garden and the pool.

Booked 3 nights, ended up staying 5, perfect location

beautiful hotel, Jiwa and his family are lovely, go over and above to help you with your trip activities. Breakfast is amazing, banana pancakes are unreal! Location is great, right near all the restaurants, walking trails for rice paddies and markets.

Best place to stay in Ubud or even entire Bali!

We loved eeeeeverything about this place! It was the best accommodation we had throughout our entire trip. The rooms are very nice, quiet and super clean. The breakfast is wonderful (you get a menu everyday and can choose from different options and different times - they bring it to your balcony). We also liked the location of Jiwa's House. The Monkey Forest, the Campuhan Ridge, everything is in walking distance. However, the best thing is yet to come: this family is absolutely amazing! So nice, so helpful, we really hope to see them again! Whatever question you might have, trip-ideas you have, just ask them. They will help you.

Superb

The location of hotel is perfect. We didnt expect nothing much from hotel that is so cheap, but the quality of our stay there was amazing. First of all staff was great, they were friendly and helpful in all situations. Second, the breakfast was soooo delicious, sometimes you dont get breakfast that good in five stars hotels.

We really enjoyed our time here! Everything was perfect and the staff was really nice! The Bananapancakes for breakfast were amazing! If you are in Ubud, you need to stay at Jiwa‘s House. Thank you for everything! :) It was a great time!
