The staff was very friendly . Good serves. Good advice. Location top.
I was hard to get in contact with people, there was not a really common area where you got sit as a backpacker for the
backpackers alone.

Great spot but a little pricey for Madeira standard pics on @beeart.o and would love a Madeira bathtub for that view.
A bathtub for that view?

For me the best place to visit Madeira. Central to reach all the parts of the Island. And the place is so beautiful. Wonderful garden, the house is very nice and my room was so beautiful and confortable, recently renovated and all was so clean ! Very good breakfast every morning. And surf lessons were so great. I really enjoy to stay here and if I come back to Madeira for sure I'll come back here again ! Thanks again Andreia and Ruben for your kindness, you contributed to my great vacations in this wonderful island that Madeira is.

Very pretty garden, it’s super nice to sit outside and chat with other travelers. The house is really cute and comfortable and there’s everything you need in the kitchen. Even if you don’t go surfing (which can be easily arranged by the host) u get the biggest surfer vibes from the house! Great location all in all. Nice and accessible by car, you can park right by the house on the street and it’s close to the town center of Vincente.
It is pretty humid, but it’s like that wherever you stay on the northern side of the island.

A clean and tidy place with a great view. Beautiful tropical garden with morning sun when and If the sky is blue.
Weak fuses made it impossible to use the stove in the small kitchen.

Parrot, good breakfast!, kitchen was well equipped, beautiful view
The room was cold and wet but i assume its difficult to keep the rooms dry in Madeira's weather. The walls between kitchen and rooms is very tiny so you can hear everything, even clincking of dishes, voices, we definitely didnt think it was a good area for dining because it would disturb the other rooms so we ate in the room. It was not clear whether the small stuff like tea, oil etc in the kitchen can be used or they are each room's own so we didnt really touch anything just in case.

Perfect Location for North of the island. Surrounded by mountains and close
to the beach and a few Surf spots .

the room was clean, the bed very comfortable, quiet (if the neighbours are quiet, we could hear them talk at night ).
it has a kitchen
you’re surrounded by a paradise garden, a beautiful view of the mountain, a funny neighbouring parrot
a simple but good breakfast: cereal, milk, vegetal milk, yogurt, coffee, tea, fruits, croissants, salami and cheese
I don’t know if we were supposed to know, but we were confused about the location, as on the gate the property has a different name and weren’t sure where to go, which room to go to… there was no one there. But we called them and the owner was nice and explained everything

The location was good. The place has a beautiful garden. The room was ok. The included breakfast also were ok.
There was too much "do it yourself", there was no personel at all. Self check in, no reception. When we asked host about washing machine service, we got an answer to ask a person, which had to be there, but was nowhere to find. The room smelled like bleach. Also, if you don't want to use hand soap instead of shower gel/shampoo bring your own, because they do not provide any. Way too good rating for the provided service.

This listing really should be modified by booking.com. The owner is actually listing 3 properties under 1 heading - the north coast guest house, surf lodge and an alimento local (AL abbreviation). Owner decided she wouldn't honour our reservation (side note took our money 2 months in advance.....) and kick us out to the rather smelly AL which is not pictured and is a run of the mill apartment with no charm or ambience. If I wanted to book this AL, I would have appreciated the choice on the site. I chose this property for the gardens and old-school styling. I did try to cancel this property with booking.com once we were kicked out to the cheaper property but the company refused to negotiate even though the provider would not provide what was agreed under the terms and conditions. Eventually the provider told us we were bad people and we could move to what we originally booked. And that was great and the simple breakfast covered our needs

very friendly stuff, great view and beautiful garden
small room for an average price, breakfast was okay

Very nice garden. Lots of flowers and amazing view of the mountains . Room was small but had exterior with chairs and table . Was a good place for 2 nights. Most of the people were staying for a long time there and doing surf lessons. Breakfast was ok, taken together with the other guests at the main house big table. Feeling of being in a hostel.
No instructions for breakfast. It was just mentioned to go at the main house for it, but nothing else on how to handle things . We asked other people how things work.

The view is amazing, no matter what room you are staying in. The garden is fabulous and the rooms are clean and pleasant. The whole atmosphere in and around the house is just really laidback.
I highly recommend booking some surf lessons with Ruben as well during your stay. Surfing in Madeira is great fun and the team of instructors is the best. They are experienced surfers that really take care of you in the water.
A bit more variety in breakfast would be nice, but frankly, I considered it quite a luxury that it is included at all.

The place is very beautiful. Big garden, very well organised and the house itself makes the atmosphere so leasure. That you don't want to leave. The breakfast was incredible, different every morning with a lots of coffee by you choice, fruits and different choices for healthy meal. Also a bar full loaded, so you don't need to search for a store if you are out of drinks.

Great location, main house accommodation was spacious and comfortable. Lovely outdoor space in the garden.
Checking in wasn't organised. Could benefit from a self-check in system with advanced notification of which accommodation is booked.. Other than that small issue, the owners and staff were charming.

Amazing location. Hours spent staring at the mountains and sea in the wonderful garden, with s a coffee and book in hand. Perfect location for exploring hiking spots all over the island.
