Wonderful

Incredibly clean and stylish. Outdoor space was a lovely bonus. Had everything I needed for a great stay. Location was great, nice and quiet but close to everything I needed

Confort et emplacement idéal

Tout était comme cela avait été présenté dans l annonce . La personne qui m a remis les clefs à fait un effort pour parler Français . La terrasse était top et très bien exposée

Rien en particulier sauf que je n ai pas trouvé le local poubelles . Les voisins bruyants la journée

Superbe appartement très central !

Appartement très central, bien décoré, et confortable ! La grande terrasse était vraiment un plus. L’hôte était d’une très grande gentillesse, et nous ne pouvons que le recommander :)

Cela ne nous a pas embêté plus que cela, mais l’appartement sentait parfois un peu l’humidité, ce qui peut déranger certaines personnes.

Great location, super nice host, perfect apartment!

Really loved the apartment! It's just a few meters from the city center of Funchal and perfectly located close to a parking garage and local stores like small cafes or restaurants. The apartment itself is really beautiful and you would not expect this from the outside. There is a gate which is locked in the evening hours and two more doors until you are in the apartment. The first door lets you into the little balcony/patio area which is super nice to hang out after coming home from a hike or something. There are lounge chairs and a little table so you can take your breakfast outside. Immediately next to the apartment is a little laundry with a washing machine and everything else you might need. We loved the apartment and Eliana was such a great host and gave us so many beautiful recommendations!

I really loved everything, however the bed was just a tiny bit small for two adults who like to have their own blanket. We managed but that was the only thing that comes to my mind.

Superb

I stayed for 4 nights in this cosy apartment. It was nicely decorated and in a central location, within walking distance to many great cafes, restaurants and shops. Very convenient for someone without a car like me. The host Eliana was very friendly and helpful.

Don't leave the window open as there might be mosquitoes coming in, especially after the rain. Other than that everything is perfect:)

Superb

Eliana is perfect host. I immediately felt at home thanks to her. :))) Lovely apartment, very well equipped. Great garden! Perfect to start the day with yoga practise. Excellent location. I highly recommend.

The bed is a bit short (I'm 170 cm tall), the mattress is not very comfortable (to soft for me, but that is a matter of preference;) ). If there were coffee capsules in the kitchen (at least 1-2) and some tea as a small gift to start with, it would be perfect! Maybe it would be nice to bring an iron too. I'm dropping this hint. :)

Wonderful, comfortable small appartment close to the centre

The friendly and good contact with Eliana. The small garden where one could sit in the sun. The well equipped and nicely decorated small appartment.

It rained some days and then the patio took a long time to dry out. The water. remained and couldn't drain away very well.

Very nice and cosy apartment in the city center, on a walking distance from the coast and main bus stations. Apartment is with a nice patio with a garden, sunbeds, shower and grill. Also you can use laundry room. Internet works good. The owner is very kind and helpful. If you arrive by car, you should know there is no parking here.

The neighbours upstairs were very noisy, but earplugs solved the problem.

A lovely stay in Funchal!

Bayleaf apartment is a great place to stay for a trip to Funchal. It has everything you need to be comfortable and it was a great place to relax after hot days walking around the city. Eliana was extremely helpful and gave me great tips about where to eat lunch. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Exceptional

We liked everything. We were very nicely welcomed and we had a very friendly and helpful host. The keys drop off was very easy, even that we left early morning there was no issue to adjust with our time schedule. The location is walking distance from the port.

An amazing week

The apartment is right in the Funchal’s city center, near from supermarkets, markets, coffee shops. Very comfortable, has everything we need to live inside. A little backyard to chill under the special sun was a plus ! Perfect for a couple.

Very nice stay in a super friendly location

Very nice property and located 15 minutes walk from the seafront and central Funchal , the property has a nice patio which gets the sun most of the day .The noisy neighbours that some reviews refer to are not that noisy and generally quieten down by the early evening so don't be put off .

Really nice and cosy flat.

The location is good. The flat is cosy and the outside area its a good plus.

Just have 1 roll of toilet paper for 9 days. The Dishwashing liquid was also in the end. There was a problem with ants in the toilet.
