The food was amazing. During my stay I sampled the fantastic cooked breakfasts, one dinner and an afternoon tea, which was for my team. The variety was extensive and all presented beautifully.
The one minor thing being that work was being carried out and my room was directly above it. If I had been there for leisure, I might not have been too happy about the noise and the early start in the mornings.

Excellent breakfast.
Nothing as far I’m concerned.

Everything about this place was fantastic

The room was excellent as was the breakfast served over the weekend. To be honest the breakfast served on the Monday morning was not as good. Different chef I presume.
Delivery vehicles in the early hours of the morning leaving their engines running and banging and clattering around and even holding lengthy conversations under the window. Whilst I understand they need to make deliveries one wonders if they couldn't do it in the daylight hours or maybe the rooms by the delivery entrance might be given extra sound proofing.

Our room was clean, comfortable and delightful. We had booked in for dinner in the evening and the food was very good.
Breakfast was also very good and the presentation was excellent. We thought that the interior was beautifully designed with a great eye for detail.
To be honest, we were pleased with everything we saw and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A lot of thought had gone into the presentation of rooms, meals, etc. and its often the little things that count so there was nothing we didn't like.

Smell from treatment plant in car park

Capable, friendly staff. We were checked in, had a table booked for dinner and had met the hotel cat all in the space of 15 minutes.
Very clean, spacious room, large bed and spacious bathroom.
We are already planning our return visit.

The location fantastic; the staff friendly and helpful; the room superb in furnishings and spotlessly clean; the decor in the room and around the hotel was fabulous; the food was absolutely delicious; the peace and quiet was blissful; it was simply a wonderful stay in an excellent hotel and we can't wait to go back...what a find, delighted! It might be a 3* in facilities (even though it had everything we wanted/needed) but it is unquestionably a 4* in quality and service standards.
Not a thing. As an aside I think the fact the hotel shows as a 'Best Western' is a negative and may put people off (to be honest it nearly did me) as it in no way feels like that (I'm not even sure if it is a BW?), it is so much better than that brand projects (to me anyway) and gives it credit for, it feels like a wholly independent hotel run and managed by Jenny and Jon and their wonderful team. It is really lovely.

Very nice rooms and facilities in general- and a lovely , off--the-beaten-track location
Nothing really. We only stayed one night but it was just what we wanted.

A quiet and beautiful rural setting but only 5 minutes drive from Sherbourne
The building had a blend of luxury and grandeur whilst feeling warm and homely. A great sense of style and individuality in the decor
Thoughtful free additions of wellies, maps, books and board games
A gorgeous friendly cat, Jupiter
Stylish, welcoming, and spacious bedrooms, well fitted with lighting and storage. Generous sized bed for a standard room (king size)
The mattress was quite firm which I liked, but my wife less so

The king size mattress was so comfortable, we have ordered one from the Hotel Company!

Very tastefully decorated, beautiful and comfortable surroundings Loved the different games and books etc available to residents. My husband and I hooted with laughter one evening at some of the quotes we found in the ‘little box of quotes’! We also loved ‘Neptune’ the cat. We will be back.

Stayed for a night and was charged £119 and no breakfast! First room was dirty , dust and dirt , not been properly cleaned in weeks . I was moved but to a smaller room . The smell from the septic tank outside was dreadful . No Wi-Fi in rooms .
