Loved the location and the host was super nice and helped us with tips and advice.
Super hot! We were put in the room in last floor and the ac didn’t really work so it was hard to sleep at night.

Salvador was an extremely gracious, super kind, and incredibly accommodating host. I only stayed one night, and practically had the whole place to myself! Was amazing. And tacos jeronimo 🔥

Dangerous location at night

The accommodation was very authentic! We liked the multiple terraces and the host very much. And the bed was VERY comfortable! There was hot water all the time.
When we booked the venue, we didn't know the district. It was pretty wild, but also authentic and pretty far from the city center (not a walking distance). So the best way to move around was Uber. Anyway for sure we would come again and can definitely recommend to others.

Amazing service, Salvador is allways ready to help and very friendly. I love the fact we ha e a kitchen to use and a market 2 roads down the hotel. Loads of metro station and bus near by. Also a police station which made me feel more secure. The Hostal is very home, I felt I was in a house. And I met very nice people there, massive area to chill downstairs and the roof terrace. Really reccomend it

Friendly staff and very good value for money.
Hot water was a big issue.

It is peaceful
This is more like a shared airbnb than a hostel. The owner arranges a time to pass the key to you.
There is no glass window in the first 2 floors
No vibes

The decorations is a plus; the bed is wonderful as is the room; the living room is also comfortable and nice. And the wc is simple but functional.
the sound insulation is horrible, the metal stairs are very uncomfortable and dangerous, a group entered and occupied I believe all the other rooms, and therefore they were acting as if the house were all theirs, talking loudly, laughing, anyway... . the isolation is terrible.

Strong wifi! I was able to do a day of meetings with minimal lag.
I stayed in Deluxe Room #2 and what I loved the most about the room was the lighting! It was really the most flattering lighting that I have ever experienced in a hotel room. The windows and staircase in the room were so well-designed that I wanted to do an improntu photoshoot!
The location of the hostel is in a neighborhood that is in transition, so don't expect many pretty sites, however, I walked to the centro historico in less than twenty minutes. There is a really good Vegan restaurant a few blocks away (Veguerro).
The water pressure was inconsistent. Also, the hostel attendant (who was wonderful) explained not to mess with the water heater temperature because it is high enough, but really it wasn't. My showers were warm at best, which didn't bother me too much, and can be easily fixed by increasing the temperature on the boiler.
There is a good size television with HDMI connection, but I couldn't figure out how to set up the sound, so some clear instructions on that would have been helpful.
This is by no means a complaint, but the owners could be well-rewarded for upgrading little details like having matching hangers, nicer shower curtain, better quality material on the futon.
