The hotel staff was very nice and helpful.
The location is good.
The room was big. With space for comfortable work with a computer if you need to. The food from the hotel restaurant is tasty
Room during the day was a bit warm.
Wifi was ok, had to swap time to time between wifis

Not too expensive. I extended my stay after a last minute change and they gave me a reduced rate because the hotel wasn't so busy that night.
Open 24 hours.
Nice big bed.
Friendly staff.
No way to lock the door of the room from the inside OR outside - just a loose chain inside and a basic latch on the outside. There were also signs of forced entry (see photo).
Very low water pressure.
Nowhere to hang towels in bathroom.
Not very clean - dirty marks on bed linen, floor and mirror.
I found long black hairs in my bed - I have short fair hair.
The sheets didn't fit the bed, so they couldn't be tucked in, so they got in a mess every night (see photo).
No internet in room WiFi connection, even after reporting to reception. I later got a very poor and intermittent connection.
Very poor sound insulation between rooms.
Very noisy toilet flush - can hear every time anyone flushes the toilet.
Shower floor sloped the wrong way, so water permanently sat in puddles, instead of draining away (see photo).
There's a thick plastic sheet on the bed, which gets creased through the night from movement and was then uncomfortable to lie on.
No hand towels, just two very frayed bath towels (see photo), and no bath mat.
The toilet was filthy (see photo).
I stayed for 5 nights and guests were very noisy every night until very late. One night, I was woken up at 2am by guests in the room next door playing music very loudly and singing along to it.

Room was clean and everything worked. I think I stayed in the room in the photo.
The night staff didn't speak English very well.

Other reviews mention that this is a love hotel, hence the name, but I never felt it was untoward or uncomfortable. You need to understand that places like this serve a different purpose, mostly young people who still live at home with their parents, than what you might initially think. Would I recommend a single female stay here? Probably not. But, it is quiet, clean and the staff is nice.
The location is close to the metro but it doesn't seem like there is much going around in the immediate area so you will need to explore other neighborhoods for restaurants and drinks.

The bed was comfy and everything worked out.
Kind of a strange vibe in the place. I barely saw anyone else there but I did hear some. The pillows were a bit high and the toilet could flush better.
4.5
most comfortable bed and pillows I have experienced in South America!
the manager Edgar was so welcoming and kind always smiling and made me feel at ease
room was provided with fresh drinking water daily
BEST hot shower I have had in a long time
room was huge!! felt very spacious and not claustrophobic - great view of the city
location was good and walking distance to centro historic (if you like walking)
it’s an old building so at night you do hear the pipes
wifi kept dropping out so I could not work from the hotel which was a bit problematic

The room was big and very comfortable, no noise from the street and room service everyday. I forgot my headphones and they kept them for me.
The location, although not very far from the center, is not very nice. The staff was always inside the reception which was closed except for a small area to give you the keys. It seemed odd. You can hear everything going on in the corridors and I had bad luck to be there on a weekend. There were parties in some rooms and the staff didn't say anything so I couldn't sleep. Also, and although I assume this is not a common thing, there was a group of men all the time in the lobby. Myself, as a woman, I fell intimidated for the looks they gave. They were there and in the door all the time. It was very very uncomfortable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For what it is. I stay here several days on monthly trips to Mexico City & everything is always great also. Staff downstairs are always super friendly & accommodating during my stay. Oxxo, pharmacy, sushi, & subway line (Doctores) all on same block or only one away. 5-10 min Metrobús ride on corner to Bellas Artes/Madero. Can’t beat it..
Views to die for from a few certain rooms too. 🌃
Nothing. Occasional problem with elevator late at night but definitely not a dealbreaker for the place.

Nice friendly staff. Spacious room with lots of features. Seemingly safe neighborhood (but not very nice for hanging out in). Many channels on tv including Netflix (although a little slow). Mostly clean, but a few spots left on swept and one piece of garbage still in room on arrival. Many things in room were newish. Decent area, close to metro and bus lines to get all over the city (although neighborhood doesn’t offer much - but one ok breakfast place in corner and dance/yoga studio a few blocks away). Decent bathroom and shower. Nice checkout time (1pm). Overall decent place if you’re going to be exploring the city all day anyway and just need a place to crash.
Seems kind of like an odd place, alcohol in vending machine downstairs, porn channel on tv, kinda geared for some odd behaviors. But easily avoidable, too. Wifi or at least Smart TV could be faster, lots of load time on Netflix. Could have used a more thorough cleaning. Otherwise, not bad, especially for price.

Central location, GREAT view (From 5th floor), super friendly staff, allowed multiple guests to come through. Great value for the price!
Elevator stopped working my last night there but not a huge deal, understandable since it’s an older building

Very good budget hotel. The WIFI was nice and strong. Edger the manager was amazing, he speaks very good english, has a great sense of humor and is very helpful. It’s in a good safe blue collar neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and stores. Everything is an easy Uber ride away.
Cons: No AC or heater. They will give a fan and space heater if needed.
Can't open the windows. No chair, just a stool. Shower has a flat surface so the water never fully drained.
