It's a good place to stay and have fun, so peaceful, all time I found coffee for free. I love that, the people there were friendly and helpful.

Location

Cleanliness and comfort. The site is not maintained, it does not look like in the photos, many things are damaged and in bad. No water comes out in some showers and the sink is very small.

I needed a cheap bed for the night and booked a private room here. There was an extra large double bed and the aircon and fan worked well. Great location 10 min or less walk to habour.

Not the nicest environment in the central area but I didn’t spend time there. I would have rated this better but they played extremely loud house music right outside my bedroom door until midnight, for what reason I have no idea? To create an atmosphere perhaps? But there was no one there listening to it.

A bad choice

Just the location

Air-conditioning wasn't working fine, there is a dog that pee and poop anywhere and nobody clean, the pool wasn't clean or at least is very different from the pictures, the mattress is too hard, they don't have change when payment is in cash and paying with credit card adds 3% more to the transaction which is not mentioned when booking the room. I totally regret staying here, awful experience

Decent place to stay for a few days in Santa Marta.

Nice communal area with a bar & pool to cool off in. Staff were friendly and helpful and I organised my trip to the lost city through them. Option of paid breakfast is handy & a kitchen (though I never used it). Lockers in dorms with socket, light and privacy curtain. In a decent area, a short walk to lots of amenities.

The first time I stayed there was a bed bug issue in my dorm, but thankfully they appeared to be fumigating that dormitory when I returned hence why my score isn’t lower. The dorms are very hot and fans offer limited cooling, especially if you close your privacy curtain. Limited number of toilets and showers.

Excellent, stayed twice

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It was very chilled, with a lovely shared space with a pool which was quiet but also easy to meet people. The staff were friendly and kind. It was great value for money, and I really liked that they have stairs up to the top bunks so you don't need to get up a ladder. The hostel is also really well located in the historical district, close to all the Ciudad Perdida tours if you're interested in doing that.

Some of the plug sockets didn't work, but I was easily able to find ones that did.

Good value! Cheap and comfortable stay

We really loved the location and how affordable the place is! The beds are comfortable and there are stairs to get to the top bunks, which was nice. The trees and flowers in the courtyard are beautiful.

We didn't like that the bar was closed or that the pool was somewhat dirty. There were people playing music until about 3-4am, but it wasn't absurdly loud. The lockers are a bit small.

We liked everything about the hostel. It's comfortable, even if you stay in the 16 bed dorm, clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the central location is handy for many activities.

Okay for a few nights..?

The dorm beds are nice, they have curtains, a light and power outlets on every bed. Lockers are big enough for an average sized backpack. The wifi was brilliant - 150 upload and 120 download speed. I really liked the sports corner, they have some equipment for you to use. Rings hanging from the ceiling, a few weights and some other stuff. The location is great.

Mice ate my bread... I told the staff and showed them, they shrugged it off and just told me to store it better before they threw my food away :/ The kitchen is tiny, better don't plan to cook often. The bathrooms were okay, but the pool had an unpleasant greenish color.

Nice staff and good Location

The bedsheet was dirty and the lockers not fixed at the wall=very unstable. The place to cook was very basic. The showers had just a curtain and a chair in front of the shower, so that it wasn't easy to shower. Loud music from the bar..

Good dormitory, even though there is lot of beds you're not stacked on each other + comfy bed and curtains for the bottom beds. AC available during the night. There is a bar with friendly staff, the restaurant was good, kitchen available to use and free coffee in the morning. Good location in the city center. Pool is also available.

Only 2 toilets for men. Only curtains to close the shower but not a big deal. No key to enter the hostel, but people to open in case you need it.

Nice cocktails for an decent price were served at the evening

Bed bugs, and not the kind which stay even in sober conditions. I should have left when I saw bloodstains on the cover of my mattress.

It is very spacious - but not 70sqm as described in the text 😅 - since it is a maisonette I would say 30-40 sqm - bigger than any hotel room. Nice staff! Good location!

No windows that you could open during the night. The only window is the door - which you don't want to leave open!! Furthermore you have to close the wooden doors otherwise everyone can look into the accomodation! It smells a little moldy.. Furthermore the glas door didn't make a safe impression! Also because you are separated from the main rooms and your door goes straight to the street. The pool isn't really a pool.
