Sehr gutes Hotel in Bestlage!

Wenn wir mit der Bahn anreisen, wohnen wir schon seit vielen Jahren im Steigenberger. Die Lage ist, in unmittelbarer Bahnhofsnähe, einfach perfekt! Für Unternehmungen aller Art hat man von hier aus beste Verbindungen! Das Personal ist stets freundlich und um das Kundenwohl bemüht. Die Zimmer haben eine angenehme Grösse, das "Sky Gym" hat einen unschlagbaren Ausblick. Auch, wenn wir es dieses Mal aus Zeitgründen nicht geniessen konnten: Das Frühstück sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen!

Die Preise haben in den letzten Jahren doch erheblich angezogen. Auch das exzellente Frühstück könnte man sicher etwas preiswerter anbieten. Sonst aber alles okay, wir werden auch zukünftig wiederkommen!

Great hotel with fantastic spa and breakfast

The spa on the top floor with three different sauna‘s was one of the highlights for me. Breakfast is amazing in quality, selection and seating. As this was. working trip I very much enjoyed the ample private seating areas which was perfect for a work meeting.

Distance from elevator to room is seemingly endless when first arriving.

Top Lage, super Ausstattung und tolles Frühstück.

Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer, pikobello sauber und gut ausgestattet mit kurzem Weg zum Spa-Bereich, den wir auch genutzt haben. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich, mit einem aussergewöhnlichen Angebot an Speisen und Getränken. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfall top, fußläufig zum Hauptbahnhof, kurzer Weg zum Bundeskanzleramt, Reichstag und auch Brandenburger Tor - Lage einfach Top!

Wir waren nur eine Nacht, leider und dabei gab es überhaupt keinen Grund zur Klage. Alles top!!

Die Mängel sind Kleinigkeiten, aber sie sollten bei dem Zimmerpreis nicht passieren!!

Das Frühstück war sehr gut . Die Zimmer, vor allem die Betten auch sehr groß und gut !

Der Zimmerservice war nicht gut … Handtuch mit Flecken , keine Seife im Spender , Spender an der Dusche noch verriegelt ( wir haben lange gebraucht, bis wir das raus gefunden hatten ) . Keine 2. Flasche Wasser auf dem Zimmer ( bei unseren Freunden schon) .

Perfect Berlin location and facility.

Location near main train station extremely convenient. Breakfast is quite extensive. Excellent sauna facilities. Great bar drinks.

Just that the steam room in sauna area has been out of order for quite some time now.

Top Hotel für Städtetour

Freundliche Mitarbeiter, an der Rezeption, beim Frühstück oder auch die Reinigungskräfte. Top Lage direkt am Hauptbahnhof Reichstag und Brandenburger Tor fußläufig zu erreichen Vom Hauptbahnhof kommt man auch mit U oder S Bahn überall hin

Mir persönlich hat beim Frühstück nur richtige Nutella gefehlt :) . Sonst war alles in Ordnung.

Location is excellent - just a 2 min from Hauptbahnhof and 10 min from Reihcstag. Rooms are quite new and well furnished

I lived for 5 nights and there were no issues till the last night, when the team of night managers including Ediphan, Altay and Despina ruined all positive vibes about my stay. They forgot a part of my clothes that I left for laundry, so I had to go downstairs twice. Instead of simple apologies I heard the demand to pay it immediately and that it couldn't be postponed till my morning checkout - despite my totally paid accomodation for all days in the hotel and already paid past laundry a few days ago. Even if Ediphan as a senior manager followed inner policies and they didn't find in the system my credit card for guarantee as she claimed, the way she spoke and tried to manage the situation has nothing in common with basic hospitality

The location

A boring business hotel with no soul. Three malfunctioning check in kiosks in the lobby, a long line for check in. The double bed we ordered was not available, the entire hotel has only single beds. Very bad buffet. All super low quality. Very disappointed.

Superb.

I did not attend breakfast, but the room was extremely comfortable and excellent views.

Slightly larger measures of wine! The bar was slightly pricy. And a shame the spa was not open in the morning for a couple of hours.

overall it was a nice hotel and room was very tidy.

it was very clean and right next to the bahnhof which made it easier to travel with the public transport

for two people we only got 1 small water bottle per day. I believe 2 water bottles would have been better

If in doubt, book this hotel. You won't be disappointed.

The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Berlin - a 2 minute walk from the train station. Everything about the hotel is lovely - the staff, location, cleanliness, service, and of course, the room and the food. There isn't anything I can fault or complain about. A large, modern hotel that was absolutely ideal for our four day city visit. Recommended to all.

right next to Berlin central train station, hop on tour bus meets outside front door of hotel every 20 minutes, easy access transportation to visit popular attractions, the staff were very courteous and accommodating, the hotel is lovely and rooms spacious, the breakfast was well presented and bountiful thank you!!

Best hotel breakfast I’ve encountered so far in Germany, so many high quality options (hotel breakfast is usually good in Europe this was special. ) Rain shower was lovely. Really great bed.

Deceiving

The location

I took this hotel for the location and because of the spa but I did not have the chance to enjoy it because I was the only girl among a lot of nude men ! I know the nude spa is pretty commun in Germany but we are in an international 5 stars hotel and I would appreciate to know this before the booking !!

Exceptional

The Breakfast is superior both for food and comfort . Room view is better than our expectation. Location was also similar. In short Steigenberger Kanzler Amt is a unique experience for us especially for New Year's Eve. Price/Quality is one of the best we had ever seen.
