We actually stayed at Posadas Amazonas and were pleasantly surprised by all the wildlife that we saw, even right at the lodge. the staff was very accommodating and the food was delicious.

The place is very charming, from the get go the guides were absolutely fabulous! The route to the hotel by bus, boat and 15 min walk through the jungle is part of the adventure.
The rooms are charming, and the mosquito net turn down service is very appreciated.
Our guide Harry was exceptional! Catered the activities to the likes of the group and was extremely knowledgeable!
The meals were excellent!
There is only one pair of gumboots in size 41, I had to wear a pair with a hole in them which defeats the purpose.
Unfortunately my room had bed bugs. I notified staff and was assured by them that this would be rectified for future guests.

staff are nice, bed is comfortable, with hot shower and wifi is really good, electricity all the time which is out of my expectation
unavoidable insects in the room, especially toilets. maybe good if they put also the protection screen on the other side of the room instead of an open area?

I love everything about this place. It was inside the nature and clean. the internet was nice. food was great. stuff were kind, welcoming and helpful. the guides were nice too. very organized.
I would like to recommended maybe adding additional activities if someone wants to stay a bit longer.

The lodge itself is beautiful
The overall experience was not ideal for the amount of money I spent to stay here.
First I got a whats app message from Rainforest expeditions stating that I needed to pay less then 1 week prior to my stay. I had limited wifi and was told I got multiple messages telling me I’ve been notified which I was not. Then the trip started with the disorganization of going to the office to get a bag to pack. There should be an email that is sent prior to know what to expect. At the lodge we wanted to do a night walk. our guide told us no he would take us out the next day. we were only there two days total. you are limited to the activities available and depending on your guide you may be even more limited. the room next to us was extremely loud and disruptive so we were unable to get decent sleep. On the way back the person I was traveling with forgot her air pods and asked at the desk in the office if he could reach out with a response of no.

Beautiful and comfortable lodge in the buffer zone. Our guide, Dino, was amazing. Food was also good and fresh, with plenty of vegetarian options.

Honestly, we loved every bit of our stay: the activities (Macaw clay lick, night walks, and Don Manuel’s farm were our favorites), the lodge (also loved our room: already missing those quiet afternoons in the hammock), the guides (shout out to Matteo!!), the food ...

The lodge was beautuful and well maintained. All the staff and guides were helpful and friendly. They made you feel very welcome. The food was good and plentiful. There were plenty of excursions to choose from. There appeared to be as many animals around the lodge as there were in the jungle. This didn't worry me as I was just there to relax.
The boat trip from Puerto Maldonado to the lodge was tough. There was constant rain and wind. As the boat had no plastic side covers everyone got wet. No fun on a 4 hour boat ride. I had to ask for a bathroom break and it seems I was not the only one who needed it. The beds are very short. I am only 170cm tall and my legs reached the end of the bed
