Great location and view

Great facilities provided by friendly, helpful staff in a great location. Kitchenette and washer/dryer in the room means you can cook and clean if needed, very convenient. Excellent location in Central, the heart of the Island.
My only challenge, and not the hotel’s fault but many own, was that I arrived in HK not knowing the HK Sevens was coming up, so when I extended my stay, the room price increased, as is the case in all HK hotels. Otherwise the hotel was great value.

room is extremely huge... staffs all are really friendly

The staff is very friendly. It is very useful to have washing machine and kitchen in room.
The room size is not as booking.com specified 71m2, it just like 45m2.
When I check in, the staff ask to fill in a guarantee to pay HKD 5000 if we get Corvid-19 during our stay, it is not reasonable.

nothing, it was great

Quite convenient, nice interior design. Felt like an apartment.
Significantly smaller than advertised. The bathroom had a slight smell.

ONE96 is a unique place where you feel comfortable and safe. Due to the set up of the place (each suite is on one floor, with the lift going up directly to your own floor) and the personal genuine service of the team you feel very special.
Due to the set up and boutique kind of style they can't be very flexible with requests like room changes and late check out. The mattresses were dated and too many layers on top to keep it comfortable.

At 3,000 HKD a night, one would not expect the shower to be lukewarm and temperature fluctuating. The room is small compared with what you can get at Murray, Ritz Carlton etc. with much better service and amenities.

Annoying that I had to go to three places for breakfast they did not give me the full breakfast I wanted to have more but they limited to only eggs and coffee no bread or croissants I had to pay separately.
The idea of having breakfast is good but not to go and get it yourself. I r need to have more choices of drinks and maybe more cooking utensils and no salt or pepper jams etc some foil or containers would be good

Modern design. Spacious suite. Plenty of storage. Comfortable bed. Nice lighting. Kitchenette. Great bathroom. Tiny gym access in sister hotel. A few laundrettes in the area which are affordable. Just 5-10 mins walk from heart of Central.
Shower did have issues. No other facilities on site. A bit pricey for what is just a room.

The location was great, plenty of natural lights shines into the room. The little open kitchen makes it handy for people to cook something if you really planning for a longer stay or rent it as a residence. High ceiling in bathroom. The rooftop was a great highlight of our stay. We could enjoy the day and night panoramic view of Hong Kong.
The furniture was a bit aged. The faux leather small couch at the dinning table was worn and cracking marks. The fabric of the main sofa at the living area could be upgraded to give a more cosy feel to the over space. Room is spacious but definitely not 800sq/ft. I was expecting a more roomy space. When we checked-in, the card was prepared and procedure was efficient. Unfortunately, the key card for room and lift wasn't working for one of the room (we booked 2 rooms), so we have to go up and down again to get the key card fixed.
The rooftop was one of the place where we look forward to hang out at. Been there once in the early afternoon, and then for the second time when we want to go back, someone locked the door. And we called the recipient to come fix it. It took them more than 15mins to just come upstairs. And the inexperienced staff was just trying to push the door which clearly looked being locked from the outside. And there's seems nothing they can do to fix that at the moment. Not until they got into one floor lower, get back up from the backstairs in the bathroom and come out from there to unlock the door. The cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved since it is still under the pandemic. We still saw hair on the marble floor and the marble block near the drain at the shower was broken. I never expect to see this if they are being named a 4 star hotel/ residence.
This hotel/ residence is more likely to be a party place (when without pandemic) or very suitable for business trip or foreign expats as residence in Hong Kong. Not really a Stay-cation spot. It got my attention to One96 as I randomly read and article. The title was highly luxurious hotel rooms in Hong Kong. Everything written was sort of true with what you can get from renting this place. When you arrive to the room and look into the details. It might not live up to the expectation and I won't name it as "highly luxurious".
