Quiet rural location just a 10 minute drive from St Ives with plenty of facilities there. Large room with a comfy bed. Friendly & welcoming host.
The breakfast was continental only, which was made clear when I booked, & everything was very nice with plenty of choice except no marmalade which I would always choose.

A wonderful property surrounded by countryside. An exceptionally friendly and helpful host, nothing was too much trouble. The room was exceedingly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a continental style, with plenty to choose from. A fabulous place to stay that we will definitely be returning to. Thank you ❤
That I couldn't stay longer.

Good selection of cereal and bread, with fruit, yogurt and jams for breakfast but cheese and meats would have been a nice extra.
Some spare cutlery in a tray would be good!

We were greeted on arrival and shown to our rooms - Laura was very welcoming and we immediately felt at home. Property is in a great location down a quiet country lane within an easy walk to two good restaurants. Beds were comfortable and facilities great - the breakfast was self service but this suited us fine as it was very relaxed - we chatted to Laura and just happened to mention that we like to have walnuts with our breakfast at home and the very next day she provided some- excellent thought really above and beyond our expectations - thank you so much for your thoughtfulness!
We liked everything about the stay and will definitely stay here again next time we visit the area - would thoroughly recommend it

The Grain Store is way out in the country so nice and quiet. Everything was clean and tidy on arrival but Covid-19 restrictions made it impossible for the staff to maintain the room. Hopefully it will be back to 10 out of 10 when covid-19 is gone.
See above - not their fault!

Lovely peaceful location. Very clean and Covid safety measures excellent. Our host Laura worked incredibly hard to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The junior suite was perfect for our teenagers to relax in, including the lovely view from the balcony over the garden and with handy fridge and microwave for extra snacks!Easy links to Cambridge on the park and ride busway in St.Ives, just down the road. After a busy day exploring Cambridge, we enjoyed returning to the peace and quiet of the Old Grain Store.
Nothing. It was an ideal place to stay

Very peaceful location, very helpful and friendly owner, comfortable room, easy 'self service' breakfast arrangement.
Small criticisms as generally all was very good. Shower head was a little dodgy. Boiled eggs as pasrt of the help yourself breakfast would be a nice addition.
