Beautiful location, helpful staff, nice room
Very few TV channels, and none in English

The property is stunning and is very well maintained, abundant with flowers and old trees. It was so relaxing and peaceful having Prosecco by the pool in the sunshine. The food was delicious! Compliments to the chef.
Our standard room was very small and windowless. The only “window” was the actually door to the room. The AC had not been turned on yet for the season so it was very hot in our room and impossible to sleep. We had to keep the door of the room open all night so we could get some air.

Struttura fantastica, elegante

Very friendly staff who are kind and attentive. Nice pool to relax and location if you want to get away from everything.
Small room than expected.

Stunning location, very scenic, the Borgo has quite an exclusive feel. Access is up quite a rough road, but it's rural so to be expected. Pool area fantastic, quiet, lots of beds, super views. The building has lots of interesting architectural features as it is of age. Room was split level, generously sized. Nice little terrace outside and lots of little seating areas dotted round to enjoy an Aperol and take in the tremendous views.
Davide in the restaurant was exceptional as was the lady running lunch, both so nice and super helpful. The food was great, wines great, breakfast Tuscan of high quality with local organic produce. My stand-out has to be the Tuscan soup we had for lunch one day, absolutely delicious!
Rooms were very dark. I get that it's how they were built back in the day for coolness, but some better lighting wouldn't go amiss, felt I was groping round for most things.
Our Aircon was hopeless. Broken first day, room temp 30° we arrived for dinner a little flustered and sweaty.. It did get repaired later in the eve but even then it was not the best. I just think that for what the place is trying to achieve, decent aircon is basic when day temps are circa 40°.
We stayed at 5 good hotels/agris on this trip. I have to say the greeting here was the worst of the lot. The woman who checked us in seemed almost irritated by our arrival, very cool. Not the best first impression.

The most romantic place ever, ideal for relaxing. Everything was great. Thank you for the beautifull moments. The staff was so nice. Dinners, oil and wine was very tasty. I hope that we will see again.

One of the best places to stay in Tuscany. Perfect distance to all the cute towns. The views from this place are breathtaking. The staff is the nicest we have ever come across to. We felt so welcomed and comfy in this place. 10000/10 would recommend:)

View was unbelievable. Restaurant was great. Service was phenomenal. Rooms were spacious and clean. Felt very comfortable and safe. Great place to end a busy trip touring through Italy.
Long, windy bumpy dirt roads to get to resort

It exceeded expectations of a peaceful country stay in Tuscany. They only have 5 rooms, so it has an intimate atmosphere, it really has the "quiet luxury".
I though is was just a regular apartment but it was a 2 floors chalet. A big place for a couple.
Seeing photos of the tiled floor, I was afraid of not having an ideal temperature for the beginning of winter, but the whole chalet was very warm.
The place and the view is amazing, once you get in there you just don't want to leave. We arrived in the afternoon with the expectation of resting a little and going out for dinner, but the place is very inviting to stay. So we had dinner there, and we didn't regret it, the restaurant space is wonderful, cozy and the food is great. The breakfast was great as well.
The staff was also very, very kind and welcoming.
We left there wanting to go back.
There is an unpaved road to get there, so I don't think it would be so good to arrive at night or in heavy rain. Even so, it's really worth it.

What a location! As we turned off the main road for Borgo Sant’Ambrogio, we began to anticipate that we were in for a treat. The property has a stunning location, overlooking the Tuscan hills, wonderful walks on offer right at their doorstep and everywhere you turn is a picture postcard. We were warmly welcomed, settled into our rooms and given information about towns we could visit in the vicinity. But it’s the kind of place you might never want to leave! Go there if you’re looking for a quiet, restful time. (and PS- the dinner was also excellent as was the wine)

nothing at all, just a few dirt roads to get to the property.

Beautifully set within farmland, a quiet relaxing area. The property is gorgeous... just step on the courtyard to see sunset and sunrise. Staff are helpful. It does require a 3km drive on gravel road to get there but it is a beautiful oasis on a hill.
Bathroom was a bit small

Gorgeous, comfortable, remote, picturesque, and delicious food!
The sheets on the bed seemed to be sprayed with perfume, I'm sensitive to fragrance so it gave me a headache.

The staff was verry friendly and the food in their restaurant was delicious. The resort is just like a dream, verry beautiful.
Our room had just one window (the door). But that was not a problem.
