About this house rental
We looked high and low for the "perfect" beach property for years. We've spent many Sunday afternoons taking a stroll on the beach (even in winter!). We wanted a location that was quiet, secluded, and where we could enjoy nature and time with our family. Beachwalk fits the bill perfectly. It is quiet, secluded, yet close to major attractions (shopping, restaurants, theaters, golf, etc.).
Come and enjoy island time at your private beachfront escape. No hustle, no bustle, no traffic lights, no crowded beaches. In the mornings, relish the beautiful sunrises over the Delaware Bay, and in the evenings, the gorgeous sunsets over the wildlife refuge behind you.
Relax on the beach watching the dolphins swim by, read that book you have been putting off, take a walk along the sandy shore, swim in the bay, comb for seashells and sea glass, or enjoy a bonfire on the beach with family and friends.
Enjoy amenities such as reliable high speed internet, cable TV, cotton sheets and towels, a kitchen stocked with cooking essentials, and an open floor plan, with lots of windows, to enjoy the view.
Your four-legged friend will appreciate the wraparound deck with a small gated run below that includes a convenient potty-stop, and the fact they are allowed on the beach (with a leash) all year-round.
For the days you want more social interaction, it is only a fifteen to twenty minute drive to the following places: touring the Dogfish Head Brewery, shopping at the outlets in Rehoboth, taking in a movie at the Movies of Midway, walking the historic district of Lewes, Delaware’s first settlement, or strolling the boardwalk at Rehoboth (the younger ones will definitely want to tour Funland).
We believe you will enjoy the relaxing atmosphere as much as we do. Our home has two queen beds, a bunk bed, and a pull out couch for a total of six guests. The house is built directly on the beach with trees on both sides giving the sense of real personal space. During the last beach replenishment, a double fenced sand dune was placed in front of all properties with access points added every few hundred feet. Our house sits right at one of those entrance points.
The two garage spaces, under the house, are accessible from the inside in case of inclement weather. It is also where the grills are kept. Additional parking is available in the driveway.
We are glad to assist in making your stay a 5-star visit. Our information book in the kitchen is filled with lots of helpful tips and local advice.

We stayed in this gorgeous waterfront home for a week of fun on the beach (which was only steps away). Beautiful sunrise views over the ocean while enjoying our breakfast and tea on the deck. We were welcomed like family by the very gracious hosts. Hope to return again soon!

We have rented with VRBO before and this rental was the best yet! Natalie and Brett thought of everything! The communication with them was excellent. It is obvious that they care and want to make sure renters enjoy their stay. The snacks and homemade muffins were a welcoming treat.
This is a wonderful rental especially if you want to take dogs on your trip and feel that they are welcome and safe. The built in gate options are so well thought out. We did not have to constantly leash our dogs for a potty break. There was an enclosed gated section where they could do their business.
The kitchen is fully equipped which makes making meals no hassle.
Being on the beach and listening to the waves roll back and forth was so calming. Walking on the beach and flipping the horseshoe crabs that where upside down was fun. We felt like we where helping the environment.
Watching the sun rise each day was special.
We really enjoyed our stay and how it made us feel relaxed and gave us some relief from a stressful world.
There is a good energy and feel to the home.

We loved our Broadkill Beach weekend! Having the beach right outside our windows was heavenly, we especially love that Broadkill is quiet and semi secluded. The house was perfect for our group, so comfortable and cozy and relaxing. We took drives to town and the refuge but had everything else we needed for a restorative weekend right at the house and beach and we loved every minute of our visit. Thank you!

Beachwalk is a gem. I've stayed there twice and am never disappointed. The beach is never crowded and the house is situated to provide privacy and a sense of seclusion. The house itself is lovely and well appointed. Brett and Natalie are wonderful hosts. They are readily accessible and go out of their way to make sure their guests have everything they need. I give this retreat an A+.

Location is suburb. The plethora of toys was an unexpected perk for my little ones. Wasn’t fully ready for the biting flies but we managed and there was only one or two bad days.

This is an amazing location with a fantastic view of the Delaware Bay. The beach is very walkable including with your dog! The house is well equipped and nicely furnished. The only downside is that due to the marshland there can be biting flies on the beach primarily depending on the wind direction. On those days it is best to visit the ocean beaches as the flies do not react to bug spray and it is just best to avoid them.

We just loved the location of the house and beach. So quiet and accessible yet still convenient to where we wanted to go. Only complaint was the biting flies at times and not much you can do about that! We will be back!

The house was all you could ask for in a vacation place. It had all of the amenities you need. It was quiet and the beach was beautiful...except, of course, for the flies, but I guess it's their beach, too! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The house is located directly on the beach with views of the ocean. It’s a quiet area to rest and relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you plan on exploring the neighboring town, it does take a little time to get there. Overall the stay was just what we needed! The owners were easy to communicate with and even baked us muffins, which was a nice surprise!

Excellent communication with Natalie - she is a wonderful host. We walked into the house and saw a tower of snacks, muffins and a hand written personal note. The house was very clean and the beach chairs and umbrellas were appreciated. The linens were excellent.
Just a side note - Broadkill Beach is a "natural" beach on the Delaware Bay. It's very private. Don't expect pretty white sand and ocean water waves.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days in mid November just to relax and get away from it all. We had our two pups with us. The hosts seriously think of EVERYTHING. There is no question how to get in, how to depart, what to do while there, how to operate lights, fans, etc. The welcome snacks were such a thoughtful touch and the muffins were so yummy
The house is IMMACULATE. The view is just absolutely stunning (even in the rain).
The dog run under the house is GREAT! It's so nice to just let the dogs out on the deck without immediately clipping leashes and letting them run down to their potty area. Tho my dogs didn't really like it as a potty area. I think they aren't used to the sand. Which is fine because the street is so quiet! We walked them down the street (and yes of course picked up after them :)) each morning for a nice quiet small stroll.
I just can't say enough good things about our experience here.. It was overall wonderful.

We are never disappointed with this lovely kept up property. The water is so close you feel like you are almost on a boat. The house has everything you need: beach towels, nice linens--even sheets for the dog! A cornucopia of snacks awaits you after your drive to get there and the owners are extremely responsive.

This was our second visit at this amazing home. Everything is as pictured and more. We especially appreciate the fact that we can let our dogs out from the top deck and they can go to the bathroom on the first level without having to be leashed up. Very few people on the beach while we were there from Sept. 10-17, felt like we had it to ourselves!

Awesome Beach Spot
We had an amazing family vacation at Broadkill Beach! We enjoyed the spacious deck for morning coffee and reading, and loved how close we were to the water. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for our group of 6 plus dogs!

Another great stay at Beachwalk!
We thoroughly enjoyed our second trip to this wonderful beach front home. The house is incredible well stocked and set up. The location cannot be beat and I thoroughly enjoyed a cup of coffee every morning on the deck with that view and just steps onto the beach. Quick trips to Cape Henlopen State Park as well as Lewes to pick up some yummy tacos made this visit even better. Thanks for the great stay (and delicious muffins upon our arrival!).

A beautiful home
This is a cozy home with a beautiful view and all the amenities you could ask for. It's perfect for four adults - a few small children would also be fine! My mother-in-law loves "the pink house" as she calls it. Very easy check in and check-out - no long list of "to dos." So simple!

Fantastic winter stay
My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this property & would gladly visit again! The house was clean & true to the listing. The three bedrooms are all on the one main floor, but the layout is well designed & spacious. Loved that the kitchen was well stocked for cooking! We came with two dogs- they had a blast on the porch & on long beach walks! We came to relax & loved how peaceful the place was at night. We had everything we needed & didn’t have to contact the owner, except to say thanks for the great welcome treats. :) No complaints, we’ll be back!

Fantastic property in a great location. The home was exceptionally clean and well stocked with direct access to the quiet, nearly private beach. The home had everything we needed for our family and our two toddlers loved playing and exploring on the beach. The location is a short drive from the Rehoboth/Lewes areas, allowing us to easily enjoy the area attractions. The owners had great communication and were easy to work with. The snacks and personalized welcome card they left were an added touch we’ve never seen in years of renting vacation properties. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this property!

Amazing home. Clean and well kept. House has all one can ask. The place is secluded from the busy and loud crowds compared to Rehoboth. We loved the proximity to the beach and enjoyed every minute. Will definitely be returning back.
