Appartamento ampio e ben attrezzato

Appartamento grande e provvisto di pentole, stoviglie, stendino e lavatrice che per noi è stata utilissima e davvero apprezzata! Molti ristoranti e bar vicino all'appartamento comodi da raggiungere a piedi.

Materasso un po' scomodo, forse perché datato e posizione dell'appartamento in una zona con vista non eccezionale ma comunque vicino al mare.

Bien en general, pero anuncian cosas que no tiene

En general, todo está bien. La ubicación, las vistas, la amplitud y la comodidad. Muy práctico para hacer rutas de trekking por la zona, disfrutar de las vistas al mar y las piscinas y restaurantes de pescado fresco.

No nos gustó que el anuncio no se ajustaba a la realidad, y así se lo comentamos a los propietarios. Decía que tenía aparcamiento y piscina. Sin embargo, al preguntar por ello, nos dijeron que se refería a facilitad de aparcamiento en la calle (y no un garaje) y a una piscina municipal a unos minutos andando. Le hemos sugerido que cambie el anuncio para que los clientes sepan lo que de verdad ofrece. Además, nos habría gustado que hubiese gel y champú. Y por último, las habitaciones dan a la cocina de un restaurante, con olores y ruidos si se abre la ventana.

Tolle Lage, nah an vielen Restaurants. Großartiger Ausblick aus der Küche. Netter Balkon mit Blick auf den Hafen.

Mobiliar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, erfüllt aber seinen Zweck.

Ideal location

This apartment was perfect for us, close to the sea, hiking and good local restaurants. The owner was very helpful.

A bit noisy at times due to being near the port, but it was very interesting to see everything going on, so this is a minor issue.

Exceptional

Very nice, clean, spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and big living room. Balcony with sea view, close to downtown and restaurants, bus stop nearby. Very recommended!

Great view and location.

The location was great. I’d definitely come back and stay here but you need a car. The island is an adventure destination for hikers etc. so it’s a great base to chill at night. Felt very local with cafes etc. looks like it would b a lot fun in summer. I was there in spring and a lot of the area was not open. It’s very windy on the island.

Huge problem in finding the place. It’s incorrectly addressed. But it is wonderfully located when you find it across from the harbour. NB It’s near the roundabout.

An enjoyable introduction to the many delights of Madiera with a fabulous seafood restaurant attached for easy dining.

The apartment was large and perfect for a family. Located over a fabulous restaurant serving the freshest seafood for lunch & dinner. It is located in a smaller town which provided a more ‘authentic’ experience than the more touristy capital, Funchal. It felt like I was staying in someone’s home rather than a holiday resort which I enjoyed. It was also only 10 mins to the airport which was very handy. The owner along with his restaurant staff were all incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable.

The issue with being authentic is that it can also be a little tired and, like your own home, things sometimes need a little maintenance. All minor though and wouldn’t affect the quality of your stay.

Feels like home

The apartment is in front of the sea,amazing view in the morning and lovely location. The neighbourhood has everything around in a walking distance. The owner was very helpful and very kind.Definitely would choose it again.

That I didn't have more time off to stay longer :-(

Great place to stay for us, good access to bus for our onwards trips

Taxi arranged through the venue and we met a representative at the property who gave 2 sets of keys. Good size, property as advertised. Good supply of kitchen equipment, towels, extra blankets / pillows Wifi was fine

Only that the shower head didn't seem to fit the holder. Main bed was quite squeaky. (Twin beds were fine).

Very spacious apartment just across a lovely snorkeling beach and pool

Very spacious apartment with lots of restaurants around. Beach across the road great for a quick swim and snorkeling, very nice pool a few steps further with loungers and access to the sea, more snorkeling spots along the coast. Canical is very nice, traditional and quiet. Easy check-in and check-out in the restaurant downstairs, host very nice. Very much recommend this place if you want a few quiet days swimming and walking and eating lovely seafood.

Double bed was very short and narrow and mattress uncomfortable. Port across the road a bit noisy some nights. Everything else was great.

Disappointing

The apeartement is in the city center, near to the ocean.

There was a noisy fiesta in front of the house. The house keeper doesn't inform us about it before we arrived. We can't sleep all night till 4.00h a.m.

Really nice!

Very comfortable appartement, fully equipped and very clean, close to the sea and to the bus stop. Within 10 min bus ride from the hike to Ponta de Sao Lourenco. Good communication with the owner.

Too far from city center. NOT good location if you want to explore Madeira and take tours. Tour companies charge extra for pick up at this location because it is so out of the way; very expensive to take taxi to city center (average €45), Bolt which is their Uber system never had availability in this area, bus has very limited times and is close to an hour ride to Funchal

lovely quiet part of the island

Miguel in the restaurant was so lovely and friendly to deal with. the food in the restaurant was delightful.

nothing to complain about. we visited there in off season so was very quiet in the area with few options for dining out but we were not stuck at any point.

Exceptional

It was excellent as a large apartment by the sea and great value. For people like us who don't always need plush accommodation but go for location and clean, simple amenities it's ideal. The restaurant underneath serves fantastic traditional Madeira fish and meat dishes. The apartment was a lot bigger than I expected, with great views of the beach and the fishing boats. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Had a good time here. Excellent location in a relaxed environment.

Excellent location with good views from the balcony and kitchen. Cozy and warm inside when it rained.

Other guests had left some burnt meat in the oven. Cannot expect the owner to check every little detail, just would have been nice if people cleaned up after themselves. Other than this the apartment was clean and tidy.

Good

Nice apartment right by the sea front. Easy parking, handy for good restaurants. Very good value for three people at less than 75 euros a night.

It could have had a swimming pool! It claims to then says the pool is actually a public one 200 metres away which charges 3 euros. "Double' bed a bit on the small side. A bit of coffee and filter papers for the machine would have been nice.
