Great location the lake was beautiful
A bit dated.

The location is amazing. It's quiet, and relaxing. There is so much wildlife to enjoy. The parking is plentiful. The owner Marc, has thought of everything. This place is ideal for everyone, families, families with friends and couples.
The dishwasher is very difficult to get going. But, once you get the hang of it you will be fine. Unfortunately, there are user manuals for everything except for the dishwasher.

It was in a nice quiet location on a fenland marina extension near a pretty village. There were water birds and reed dwelling birds to watch and a kingfisher flew past. The parking was generous. The upstairs balcony provided good views of the water and reeds opposite and was nice to sit out on.
The space to move around the foot of the beds was limited in the bedrooms. Mosquitos were a bit of a nuisance in the evening, as expected by still water. We were pre-warned about the metal stairs to carry luggage up.

Nice cozy calm accommodation. Everything you would need was provided. Clean and warm. Nice sized bedrooms and shower. A bit old but overall in good condition. Parking in front, boat behind, superb communication and tips for the area from the owner. Just a nice stay and good retreat for a week of holiday. We will come back

The area was lovely and we loved seeing so much wildlife. There were some nice walks locally.
Unfortunately one local pub had had a fire and had no kitchen and the other one was only opening one or two days a week so it was a 15 to 20 minute drive to find somewhere to eat. This was obviously no ones fault but it is nice to be able to walk somewhere for food.
