The apartment is great: 2 big bedrooms and 2 big bathrooms, the kitchen is big. The apartment is well located, only 5 minutes walking from the old town of Matera. It's a precious apartment! I truly recommend it!

Breakfast was provided including fresh fruit or cereals or croissants and provided plenty of choice for our family.
The apartment is modern with all the modern and working facilities that you would expect.
It is located close (5 minutes walk) to the sassi and is highly recommended for visitors to this ancient city.

The location is fabulous; a 5 minute walk to the old town. It was a full apartment, with the bedroom separated from the living room/dining & cooking area. Good lighting. Quiet. Even had an oven. Matera is a magical city and this is a great apartment.
Advertises as a BnB, but it is a do it yourself situation with milk, cereal, fruit, yogurt and packaged meats and cheese in the fridge, and a huge amount of highly-processed, packaged breads & snacks which tasted chemical-laden.

Excellent quality and quantity of food provided.

The host not only met us on arrival but also saved us a free parking space on the street for our rental car. Nice service. Then he helped my husband carry our suitcases up the stairs to the third floor. Also very nice. The apartment has been completely remodeled and looks great with a kitchen against one wall. The host left us dozens of snacks and breakfast items (far more than we could have eaten!) The A/C worked good...it was hot during our visit. The location is perfect for visiting the Sassi area of town. This is a nice apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and although not large, I would think 4 people could stay here comfortably.
Even though everything looked new and wonderful we struggled with the expresso machine. We tried it several different ways and called the landlord who offered to video call with us, but we just gave up. Would have also liked to have a teapot or hotpot for hot tea. We were also not warned not to use the shower in one bathroom. In fact, when we checked in the host didn't even mention the 2nd bathroom and the door was closed. But my husband decided to use the shower in that one because it was larger than the other and less cramped, but when he did it leaked all over the floor (luckily it was tile so he was able to sop it up!) Overall still a very nice rental.

Nice and big room, very well located at the border of the historical centre of Matera (5 minutes away from the Sassi).

Lovely modern two bedroom apartment with comfortable beds and good quality linens; two modern, clean bathrooms just across the hall. Well equipped kitchen with all the dishes, cutlery, pots and pans to make your own meals. Easy parking nearby, a wonderful selection of breakfast sweets, from homemade cake to sweet pastries, packaged toasts, bowl of fresh fruit, well stocked fridge with yogurt, fruit juices, milk, and water. The location was great for exploring the Sassi, only a few blocks to the entrance to the old part of Matera. Our hosts were exceptional, great communication, prompt, easy check -in with explanation of places to see and great restaurants that they recommended. We had one of our best meals at Soul Kitchen within an easy walk from the apartment.

This lovely apartment exceeded our expectations. It was clean, spacious, had delicious bruschetta waiting for our arrival, and delicious cake as a bonus for breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring the Sassi's. Thank you to our host for all his help sorting out our train tickets. We don't know how we would have done it without you!

The extra things provided above the normal and the small things that were added. Wonderful!
Nothing could be better!
