Nice and clean

Very clean, we needed to be near winter gardens and was 5 minutes away so perfect.

The only thing I would say is we had to be up and out early which means we missed the cooked breakfast. Places usually offer breakfast from earlier but cereal, toast and yoghurts was provided for us which was nice although disappointed we didn’t get the cooked breakfast.

The staff were very welcome and helpful and it was clean and comfortable and very reasonable

The sausages. Apart from that. And I’m particularly fussy so it’s really being critical but everything else was absolutely fantastic and would definitely use again.

Fantastic location and price for a wonderful stay. Comfortable room and friendly staff.

The property, room and staff were wonderful. Everything about the stay in the hotel was great, excellent value for money for the location and it felt like a home away from home. The veggie options at breakfast were great too.

We always stay in Albert road, we visit Blackpool 4 times a year this hotel has everything we need,

We had good nights sleep, the breakfast was excellent, the hotel is in a perfect location to the city centre, this hotel will always be our preferred option when available

Lovely stay - Would recommend

The owners are lovely Room was very clean Shower was nice and powerful Bed was comfy Breakfast was VERY nice (I can highly recommend the Scrambled eggs) Lovely selection Looking to go back in November

Unfortunately my sister has a bad knee and we was in a twin room on the second floor (we knew we was up there) just wish it was lower

Good bed, shower, breakfast, hosts and location. All the boxes ticked!

The bed was very comfortable, the shower was nice, breakfast was lovely, hosts were very friendly, and the location was perfect.

The only bad thing was being woke up by seagulls.

My stay

Small hotel but room was good and clean location couldn't of been better right buy coral island and 2 minutes walk to seafront very handy. My favourite pub the ardwick was only 5 mins walk so wasn't far from anywhere.

Owners very helpful we were able to go in our room early, Breakfast was good plenty of toast and Coffee,

It’s very close to beach and town centre

It was 4 flights of stairs to our Family room not great for people with mobility problems

Great value for money!

Great location. Room was small but ample for what we needed. Cleaned to a very high standard. Staff friendly and accommodating. Would recommend to others and stay again.

Couldn’t really fault anything. Could hear other guests that came back a bit noisily so if you are a light sleeper or annoyed by this it may impact you - but myself and my partner were not phased by this and not the hotels fault!

I absolutely loved how polite and attentive the staff were, full English every morning or whatever you fancied. So polite and chatty and my 3 year old loved being there she got the homely vibe and even seen it as her second home🤣. Would definatly recommend to others and return again because was just far the best hotel I’ve stayed at. Ella x

The little extra in price got us a lot extra in value! Highly recommended.

All the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast facilities were perfect. The room itself was well taken care of, with everything we needed and a little extra space too!

Absolutely no complaints from us, by far the best place we've stayed in Blackpool in the past 7 years of visiting.

Very clean and tidy staff very kind very nice breakfast was fresh just gutted we over slept on our last day so missed breakfast could of really done with a good breakfast ready for the 6 hour drive home with a bad hangover which should of only took 2 hours but was a massive crash on the motorway

Great little place for a weekend stay

The location was great, very close to all of the attractions, shops etc, but quiet at night time to get a good sleep. I was in a single room and the bed was larger than I expected, not quite a double but not a single. The place as spotless and the breakfast was fab, I’m a veggie and they offered veggie sausages to go on an English. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more and at a very reasonable price. Also great view of the tower from the bedroom window!

Excellent. Would recommend to all.

We first stayed at Myrtle House 30 years ago for our honeymoon and returned for our anniversary. The owners were friendly and approachable and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had booked a small double room and it was immaculately clean as was the en suite. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk provided which was replenished daily. Breakfast was excellent. Cereal, toast, yoghurts and full English offered as well as fruit juice, tea and coffee. Despite being on a busy road the hotel was quiet and located only a few minutes walk from the Tower, the sea front and the shopping centre.

There was nothing we didn't like.
