checking in was easy and parking was good. the staff were pleasant but obviously demoralised.
No housekeeping over 3 days, radiator in room broken in the middle of december so v cold. no alternative heating supplied. bar not open until 1630 on saturday, i paid for breakfast for me on arrival and each morning was challenged as their printout said "room only. I went for breakfast 5 minutes after the restaurant opened each day and the bacon, sausages, black pudding, and eggs were already cold. this hotel has gone downhill quite fast and i feel sorry for the staff who were obviously trying their best.

The location of the hotel is good
Pool steam and sauna area nice and clean
The staff we came into contact with were polite and friendly
The food in the restaurant was nice (set menu)good choice
Bar area was poor, ran out of almost all beer on draft. .no option either to have a bar snack.
Room was clean and tidy but in need of a little TLC
The lifts were always dirty no matter what time of day you used them.
Main entrance dirty and full of cigarette ends

The room was nice, we were in a family room. They set up 5 beds but we only needed two We put the fold up bed in to the corridor. Which made the room better. 550. The breakfast was very good and had everything you need. Staff are very helpful. The hotel is tired but very clean. We would stay again if in Blackpool. Carpark is very good.
The bathroom was very small, only one person at a time, very difficult when you’re washing your Grandchild Dinner is very plain and a bit old fashion.

The room was comfortable and clean but the customer service at check-in & checking out was lacking! The swimming pool & facilities were closed? The person on the Reception didn't explain this to us.
We asked for a later checkout the night before and were told we would have to ask in the morning? Surely this can be resolved the night before? So we rang reception early on the day of departure & were informed of the extra £15 charge however the person wanted the fee paying there and then! I said surely it will be fine when we check out?
We paid the fee together with the card keys and at no point did the gentleman ask "did we have a nice stay?"
I work in customer services and found your service fell short of my expectations.
As above

Awful awful awful
Everything, it was horrific. Carpets hadn’t been hoovered, bathrooms absolutely disgusting, beds like sleeping on a plank, Traffic noise is awful so we didn’t sleep a wink, rooms are roasting hot and windows can’t be fully opened. The room was so dirty I’ve felt sick for days since staying, we very nearly went and slept in our car with the kids, it was honestly awful.

I was able to book a room in an emergency after an Airbnb disaster.
Rooms need a refresh. Very little shower gel etc.

Communal areas very good, reception, bar, restaurant pool etc.....
The room was old and tired, bed was old and squeaky, clean but whole room and bathroom was from 1990's, or before, needed a total refurb

Somewhere to charge my car. Lovely and clean. Lots of seats in reception and very helpful staff.
Walking with kids to breakfast passed other bedrooms and really bad smell of skunk.

The breakfast was nice, although nobody checked who had paid or not.
The double bed was uncomfortable and noisy every time we moved. The bunk beds are just not safe at all and just crammed in a corner. Our daughter was not happy at all.
We were there for a dance competition on Sunday. The room where the competition was held was very hot and some of the dancers, including our daughter, were feeling unwell by the end of the day. The toilets near to the room where the competition was held were not cleaned during the entire day and by the end of the day they were just disgusting. The bar only opened at around 2-3pm and the selection of drinks was very limited.

Brilliant location, value for the money. Parking cost is £7 per night which is understandable because the room cost was less. Had good facilities and easy check in and check out. Don’t mind about the reviews on cleanliness, it wasn’t too bad for the price you pay I would say it was worth the stay.
Needs cleaning in room, woundnt say too much but it was little dirty with stains on couch. The bed was making squeaky noise but was comfy.

Also rooms were pretty basic nothing really fancy.

We enjoyed the seaside view from our room and the breakfast in general. We also managed to enjoy the private leisure pool they had in the hotel.
The only downside was that the windows didn’t open and shut properly. Otherwise it was quite peaceful.

Couldn’t really enjoy the view because the windows was so dirty you couldn’t see out of them

Everything . We love coming to this hotel. It’s lovely, food is lovely, staff are always so nice , and will do anything for u. My partner is disabled and we can use the disabled room that is equipped for him. I forget to ask when I booked it on booking.com. But I asked when we got to the hotel, and it was available, so that was good. They are value for money, and convenient to all the amenities in Blackpool. U can get the tram right outside the hotel which is brilliant to go to either the centre of Blackpool, St Anne’s or Fleetwood or Cleveleys. And just relax and enjoy whatever u want to do. Thankyou
Would be nice to have entertainment on nightly.

That the chap on the front desk upgraded me and my boy. I also liked that i cancelled the four day stay. I read the reviews and booked one day. I wish i had listened to the reviews and never gave this hotel a chance.
The dirty room windows, cigarette burn on seat stains on carpets seats and really strong smell of paint in the room the noisy beds(really tired noisy bed was so uncomfortable £49 booking.com room was terrible. They should be embarrassed and booking.com should remove this hotel. Broken furniture and very poor DIY in both rooms. Not a joke as I had my child with me.

none alcoholic spirits in the bar need to start serving these options

Location
The property used to be a well known chain many years ago but has clearly been dropped from the portfolio and having stayed there then and now, it’s easy to see why. Now, it is cheap. Suspiciously cheap. However it’s dire. Dirty stained bathrooms, noisy rooms, whole place smells like an ash tray from the minute you arrive, towels and sheets don’t get replenished or rooms cleaned daily as standard. Checked out after just one night despite having paid for 2

Great location, one of the only hotels in the location with a pool (comes at extra cost not disclosed prior, only £2 though) and great parking. Fairly easy check in/out. Lots of storage in the room and decent sized rooms. Nice overall hotel, decently priced.
The beds were really, really awful - I'm confident they were cheap childrens mattresses. They were significantly smaller than the base of the bed, very thin, worn, I'm 5ft 7 and I found the mattress to be very short. Only one pillow provided and the photos were definitely not representive of the accommodation. We were put in a room that had an adjoining room and there was someone staying in the other room on the first night, the door was unlocked when we arrived, wasn't very comfortable with this (travelling alone with a young child). The room door itself didn't have a working lock on the inside either.

The staff.
You have to make your own bed every day you stay and leave your dirt towels outside your door and pick up your clean ones from reception.
My sister and I were there for 4 nights for a break and the hotel put on a buffet meal 1 night and the rest was supposed to be bar food made to order which we ordered once at £15 each. You had a choice of a burger or chicken curry for your
main meal, and that was it for the rest of our stay.

Was close to a tram stop
The building was filthy from the entrance windows were disgusting was fag doubts everywhere groups of people standing right at the door way almost inside the reception smoking cigarettes that you had to push yourself through the crowd to actually get in. Reception staff were quite rude and unhelpful told you your room number and that was it no other info such as where the stairs or lifts were was provided what so ever. The room was outdated and just ugly stains and hairs in the bath dust everywhere broken side table holes in the walls light switches that didn’t work as they had fallen into the wall. Our room was located right outside the main stairs and we had people running up and down the hall shouting and swearing till after 3am. When we came back from dinner there was fag doubts all over the reception floor almost to the main stairs I think by this point of the night people actually were smoking inside and flinging then on the floor, when we got back to the room my boyfriend asked me if I was bleeding and I said no why ? He found a tissue in the sink with blood on it that didn’t belong to either of us telling me really that someone else had been in our room we then found what looked like Tabacco on dressing table and neither of us smoke …. Luckily nothing of ours had went missing. We went down to the bar to have a drink and the bar staff were rude and just ignored me standing at the bar poked her head out to see me standing there and just continued on with what she was doing which looked like tidying bottles away no music was playing was just a dead atmosphere. Save your money and pay the extra to stay somewhere decent

The neighbourhood
Staff wasn’t very nice hotel room had stains on the bed and bathroom
4.0
The property allowed for four to sleep which was pleasing as a family of four, reception staff at check in were efficient and customer service at check in was exceptional.
The room had been newly painted and smell was over powering.
We asked if we could have the bins changed and was told no. So had to have a room of four’s rubbish for 2 nights.
Not enough towels for guests In the room. Asked for new ones didn’t arrive for the second night. Or dirty ones removed.
On points 2/3 I appreciate like many hotels no house keeping if staying more that 1 night but asking for rubbish to be removed and clean towels is not over and above or anything exceptional in this instance.
Then finally, there was a lot of noise, children running down corridors endless hours into the night. Appreciate many are here to have fun however some consideration to other guests where minimal.
