A very enjoyable visit to this lovely property.

We enjoyed our meal of fish and chips very much. Breakfast was very good too. Nicely cooked and plenty to eat. Great location for shops cafes and the market. Our bedroom which seemed recently decorated. Was nice and cosy.A very enjoyable visit. This is why we keep coming back.

Great inn in a quaint little market town. Room was clean and roomy with good size bathroom and very good shower. Good dinner available and breakfast was from both hot and cold selections. Right in the middle of town . Good wifi. Staff most friendly and hospitable. Great stay and close to a lot of other little towns. Parking at rear of inn.

Beliggenhed og personalet, et sted med sjæl, kaffe og te på værelset, rent og pænt overalt.

Grundet det er et gammelt hus ,med skæve gulve, står sengen ikke lige, så det var svært at sove i den.

I really enjoyed my stay and would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful pub hotel with lovely little quirks but absolutely charming. Dinner was good but breakfast was even better. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect.

The steak and ale pie was good but slightly on the salty side, and although it ended up being plenty of food, it looked like quite a small portion at first.

Hebden bridge är en underbar ort!

Mitt i byn! Vi bodde i annexet på gården, helt makalöst. Som att ha en egen stuga! Ligger precis vid ån så man hör porlandet från vattnet in, underbart. Bekväma sängar och stort badrum. Hall för att ta av ytterkläder är ett extra plus.

Supurb place to stay in hebden bridge

From start to finish was superb, the room was warm and welcoming, very clean and ample tea coffee ect, breakfast was the best we have ever had and we have travelled loads.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Just what I needed when I needed it. Can't fault it. I would recommend

All in all a very wellcome experience, the staff were well presented & very obligingly. After suffering a very recent bereavement I was in a very traumatic state.,& quite vulnerable. No problem.

Cannot fault the accommodation or service I received. The room was warm, clean,plenty hot water, tv ,all good.

Excellent stay

Stayed in a courtyard room 7. It was right on the river. Beautiful, clean room. Large tv, ironing board, tea/coffee making facilties. Very comfy bed. The breakfast was gorgeous, full english, fruit juice, toast, tea/coffee. There were lots of choices for other things on the menu, but we went for the above. Friendly staff from checking in, breakfast, and checking out.

Bathroom door has see through glass in. Not good when using the toilet

Brilliant location & lovely breakfast.

Our bedroom smelt as though it had just been painted & the window was stuck closed with paint which could be an issue in warmer weather. However, we did not raise this

Great place for either one night or two - Food and staff make it a very enjoyable stay

Lovely for holidaymakers/tourists. Rubbish for sales people who have early starts and late finishes

Location great. Room drinks tray was a pleasant surprise (cappuccino/latte/hot choc/ nice flavours herbal tea & biscuits). Mugs not cups. Bathroom/shower was good. Stayed in an outside courtyard room and loved the sound of the running river nearby. Cosy bar area. Staff were pleasant.

The fact that early breakfast was not an option, as only start serving at 8am (so had to go without). Stop serving food in the evenings at 7.30pm (so only just made it in time after working all day!!) The mattress was terrible - need to spend some decent money and get something much better (one of my main complaints when staying away for work).

Comfortable rooms in lovely Inn serving great food.

Service & food great. We returned for lunch after our walk also. Courtyard rooms very spacious and well equipped. Well located for walking & enjoying the independent businesses of Hebden Bridge.

Quality of pillows could be improved.

Friendly, very comfortable room, excellent food.

Our room (Room 4) was superb, with triple-aspect windows, lots of space, a magnificent bathroom (with roll top bath and separate shower). Very comfortable bed too. Food (evening meal and breakfast) were both extremely good: a nice selection in the evening, a good and reasonably priced wine list, and a superb breakfast. Location was ideal for our purposes as everything we planned to visit was within a couple of minutes on foot. The car park is small but extremely useful. All the staff we encountered were really friendly and helpful – we could not have been made to feel more welcome.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. If there was one thing I'd change, it would be to configure the room lighting so that there was a stronger reading light – but honestly it was easy enough to move into the light (which was perfectly adequate).

Love Hebden Bridge, and location of White Lion is brilliant.

Location brilliant. Breakfast hot and delicious - maintenance work in the pub underway at the time but it was managed well alongside staying guests. Staff really pleasant and helpful and relaxed. Tea and coffee provision in the room - good.

Black mould in bathroom (behind door) - shower not very powerful and tendency to get floor wet behind toilet whilst you were in it. Room felt like it needed a deep clean - eg: cobwebs on light fittings, greasy stain on vanity stool. Bed quite low with soft mattress - suits some people but not all. Parking requires a bit of skill with a larger car if it’s busy.

Excellent food, good location, friendly staff. Rooms need some attention.

The location is very good, right in the middle of Hebden Bridge, with off road parking and easy access to the local area. The food, breakfast and dinner, was excellent. The staff were very friendly and sorted out a few issues effectively.

The first room we went into was not at all what we expected and had a few faults, however the manager found us a better room which resolved the issue. The decor is looking a bit tired, peeling paint, faulty door locks, lights missing, and in need of upgrading.
