The cottage was so quaint everything you need. Beds are very comfortable and it's so quiet and peaceful .
A bit of a climb up the hill to the cottage from the car park if your not that fit .

Location was perfect. Close enough to Hebden Bridge but very peaceful with a good bus service.
All perfect. Amazing historic cottage in a wonderful village. Two cozy pubs either side.

The cottage was lovely and peaceful and would highly recommend it to anyone.

beautifully restored and furnished, very well equipped, fantastic beds.

The location is perfect for keen walkers and the homeliness of the beautifully kept and well-provided cottage was a real plus. Little noise from the close by the main route meant peace alongside the convenient location for arriving/leaving. very comfy beds and lounge with a perfect country kitchen. Heating, wifi, cleanliness and pleasant neighbours created a perfect retreat for us ... we like to do our own thing and then relax in the evening. Nearby towns with a charming and environmental/liberal ethos are reachable by a convenient bus route or via an exciting walk (steep hills generally mean those who struggle with such may be better taking the bus to a more accessible start point).
Booking email from the website didn't match the lockbox code- a quickly and helpfully answered call to the owner of the property solved the issue instantly- comforting knowing help was at arm's length if needed.

So cozy. Exactly as pictures show. Would book again when visiting. No complaints.
Nothing.

Location was historic and inspiring- very much the Jane Austin’s Heathcliff land.
Parking could be problematic for some but one has to make allowances for the historic setting and cobbled streets!!
Just something to consider for your less spritely guests - a runner on the stairs would make it safer for the more older guests. We used the stairs very cautiously!

Location excellent for walks and scenery, had a film crew there for BBC period drama! Cottage well equipped with good quality fittings, pretty, very clean, beds very comfy.
Upstairs floorboards very very loud and creaky when walking, woke people up. Also the stairs could use some carpet or rubber, could be slippy. Couldn’t get fresh air into kitchen, window too far away and no expel air.

Great facilities in a lovely village location. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Loved the DAB radio. Excellent WiFi. Good log burner. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Excellent access to great walks and the area is steeped in history. 2 great pubs, one either side!

The location was stunning and the cottage just hugs you. Everything we expected and so much more! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this absolute gem of a property.
Nothing. Everything was perfect from pre-visit communication to arrival with easy access and everything we could have needed for a home from home relaxing break.
