Beautiful gem of a place

Stylish, well appointed, comfortable clean. Definitely will come again. Simone attentive to request for more pillows.

Having to leave at 10, 11 would be better. The lift up lids for the recycling tin containers outside, silly I know!

Adorable room, adorable hosts

Not only is Grooms House a really pretty room with a gorgeous bathroom, it's the little extras that stand out: a welcome half pint of milk in the fridge for a decent cup of tea (tea/coffee/hot chocolate provided), a helpful information sheet and one of the comfiest beds I've come across. Simone was kind enough to offer me a lift to the start line of the race I did the next morning, which was so much appreciated as it took the pre-race stress away, thanks again for that!! (I DID IT!😀)

I hate air fresheners, they give me migraines, but I only mention this here because someone else might have the same problem. Next time (and I'm sure I'll be back) I'll call ahead and have them removed before arrival.

Superb

Great facilities, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and bottle water included. Excellent location, just need to be careful of the busy road outside. Hostess was very helpful, even dropped off some batteries for the remote of the TV, and recommended some good walks and restaurants.

The bed linen seemed a little damp (not enough to warrant asking for it to be changed late at night) as if not dried completely.

Exceptional

Simone is a fantastic host, she helped us so much when we had any inquiries and made us feel so welcome. The room is absolutely stunning and it was perfect for us; it has everything we needed - a comfy bed, beautiful bathroom and the drinking water / fridge was a great touch. The location is gorgeous, we couldn't recommend it more!

Lovely small space, perfect for short stays, single or 2 people

Central to town. Sympathetic renovation of small space. Comfy main bed. Lush bathroom n walk in shower. Warm. Very clean. Easy communication with owner

Close to road. No parking outside property but this is clearly mentioned when booking.

Exceptional

The property was located within easy walking access to the village centre. Although situated roadside, traffic noise never caused us any issues or disturbance. Simone (the host) was super helpful; contacted us a week in advance with parking details and checked our setup requirements for bedding (twin beds or double). She was on hand if needed but was happy to leave us to our own devices too. The room itself was beautifully furnished to a high standard. Clean and fragrant. Fresh milk was provided (a nice alternative to UHT pods). Would definitely recommend!!!

A perfect spot for our quick visit; warm, clean, comfortable and classy!

The space was well located and really clean; it had everything we needed and was warm (very important as it was freezing cold outside). The pint of milk was appreciated, and nice to have Netflix etc available on the TV. Simone was helpful and responsive, and everything worked as it should. Both beds were really comfortable. We hope to be back soon.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay, the little touches such as milk in the fridge just made it so perfect

It was located conveniently for walking into the town. The interior was exceptionally well equipped and decorated, beds comfortable and shower room spacious. We liked everything about it.

Beautifully designed apartment

Beautifully designed apartment, in short walking distance from the shops of Hebden Bridge and a number of parking places. Great communication with the owners before and during the booking made navigating the area and the check in very easy. Would stay again.

The mattress could have been a little more comfortable.

Good location, very close to town, but nice and quiet. Comfortable bed, very clean. Very impressed with the little fridge, and milk provided. The owners were so very helpful, responded very quickly to any enquiry I had and I had a few, we were given our own space but happy to help with anything they were able, such as providing an iron and ironingboard. Thank you
