Fabulous, just able to switch off for a few days. Simple but great, nice warm, and cosy, even though we had rain 3 out of the four days we stayed.
Access to Oxford nice and easy.

Lovely location. 18 min bus from campsite into Oxford that runs every 30mins till late. Nice facilities and clean toilets. Washing bowl, plates cups etc provided which was great.
Na. Really enjoyed our stay.

The location by the river. The set up of the campsite. Tents was spacious & bed comfortable. Toilet & Cooking facilities were nice - though could be improved. The toilets & showers were good.
Unfortunately the tent design is such that one of the holding ropes is right in from of the entrance and people can easily walk into it coming out of the tent. Not all allocated Fridges had Freezer compartments & their temperature control was difficult. The cooking equipment is tricky to manage and food can easily get burnt.

Easy to drive to and close to the River Thames.
The double bed in our tent smelt musty. Although the sheets and pillow cases were clean, the smell came from elsewhere - probably from the mattress or bedspread. Such was the unpleasant smell, we left after two nights of our 3 night stay. Although I asked for a partial refund, my request went unanswered. Additionally, there were notices posted everywhere, even attached to the centre tent pole telling you when you had to leave before you had even put your bags down on arrival.

Such a great location handy for walking and cycling. The site was a great size with only 10 tents. It was very peaceful and the facilities were perfect.

Lovely place, lovely staff, just rate the place very highly. It's really easy to get to and from too, even on public transport. Lots of useful items are provided and the firepits are ace.
I had some problems with noise because I am ASD but I realised as we were leaving that they had in fact provided earplugs but they were not easily spotted when we arrived. One of my friend's went home a night early because it was a bit chilly at night for sleeping too but I was fine and I normally feel the cold so I think that was a fluke as the heater was working fine. I didn't like the plastic crockery either as I was eating off of my lap and the plate slid everywhere. I would take my own plate next time.

The bell-tents were beautiful..the beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed provided (even down to ice packs in our allocated fridge/freezer) and the fairy lights just topped it off!!
Nothing. We both loved it.

Great location very close to the river Thames, and bus stop directly outside the camp site took you to Oxford or Witney in less than a half hour.
Showers could have been better

Tents were clean and well equipped. Loved the fire pit BBQ which was great to sit around and catch up with friends after so long in lockdown. Communal areas were clean, showers good and kitchen area had everything you need.

Loved every second! Comfy, clean, large tents. Small and spaced out enough to feel safe, large enough to have a bit of atmosphere, people to say hello to.
Perfect for families with small children.

Facilities general location. Also very clean. Will be back for more. This was our second trip
The tent we were allocated looked old and was in the shade and smelt a bit inside (to be expected I guess) There seemed to be ones better located that were empty so will request one of those next time

Lovely break

It is so well laid out it encouraged chatting to others but also gave you private space near your tent to relax. The kids all played together for hours. The facilities were SO clean I dont know how they do it! The wildflower meadow between the tents and river was idyllic and felt like nature was allowed to thrive ... just stunning
The pre booking information could tell you that you dont need to take anything as everything is provided from tea towels to charcoal, its all there but we had taken quite a lot of it with us and i saw other families do the same.
