Close proximity to all the main roads. Was exactly what was needed for an overnight stay for work. The pub food was good for that late finish. Very convenient.
Employees stayed here and they had no complaints.

. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the atmosphere was serene. The room décor was tastefully done, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance.
The was and service was as describe and I can therefore not complain.. As a matter of fact It was more than I had expected.
3.0
No breakfast
Single beds too narrow, you need to be aware of this when you turn in bed, which means your sleep is disturbed and you fell tired in the morning.

Breakfast was adequate

Ideal location friendly staff and great food
1.5
One member of staff in the bar is extremely rude and needs some serious customer service training.
The bed was so uncomfortable and the extractor fan would not turn off and was very loud which meant that we left and stayed elsewhere.

A niice family friendly Inn.. The room was very comfortable and clean. The food was great too. I stayed here with my son and granddaughter for a weekend due to attending the British Superbikes at Donnington Park. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is spot on,when arrived we checked in with a friendly guy, i asked his name as i thought u couldn't meet a nicer security man, I honestly thought he was a bouncer 🤣 . The room was way more than I expected, i travel alot and this ticked every box, i even left a tip for cleaners. Ave never stayed in Derby before I was in Leicester but choose to stay here. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend.
The security man is called Dan, the assistant manager. when greated by dan then youl what see for yourselves and comment. I bet he doesn't want to be tick tock famous but hes appreciated and made the stay better.
Keep up the good work team

Generally good but a few minor irritations—toilet seat was broken and one of the bathroom lightbulbs didn’t work-and the bath plug hole was full of hair

5.0
The efficiency of arriving and checking out.
There's nothing I didn't like about this stay. Everything was fine
3.5
Decent location for exploring the area but little else in the immediate area besides the Marston’s pub (across the road) and the McDonalds (also, across the road).
Bit noisy with cars accessing the McDonalds late in the evening.
3.5
The room was in a separate building to the main restaurant bar and were very comfy and clean, with a decent bathroom. The restaurant/bar is the main selling point for a traveller stopping through, with a large outside area perfect for dinner a couple of beers before turning in.
This place was great for me as a single traveller, but would be equally good for family looking to feed and water the kids before having a quiet drink.
This entire complex is isolated by the busy roads around it, so it seems more a stop off destination to eat and sleep rather than a base for more exploring the area.
Checking in was a little confusing as the check in desk was a little hidden, but the restaurant/bar staff are happy to help once you make yourself known.
3.5
Did not have breakfast.
nothing so far
2.5
Location and restaurant on site, parking was good.
The room smelt of smoke when we walked in, we stayed for 3 nights, we wanted 1 set of towels to be changed so we put them in the bath to be replaced with a clean ones, in which when we returned in the evening the same towels were just hung over the bath! The bed was made, but no cleaning in the bathroom was done, the coffee area was not wiped down. The hairdryer was disgusting full of dust on the outside.
3.5
Security. Friendliness.
Apart from breakfast, the meals were only warm and was cold before finishing them.
The open wardrobe was off putting.
4.0
Good location not noisy , nice pub restaurant, room tidy and fairly comfortable
Pillows could’ve been more comfy and we did ask for 2 single beds but they’d been pushed together to make a double
3.0
Great location to city centre, with easy free parking
Cleanliness of the room. I contacted reception with my concerns (dirty plug, stains on bed sheets and crumbs in one if the beds) and it was promptly dealt with.
4.0
Bed very comfortable, a nice firm mattress, room was cool and I didn't hear any noise from the very busy MacDonalds across the road.
4.0
The room was very roomy and well equipped (TV and placement of it were excellent). The food at the pub was far above expectations for a Pub/Restaurant. The barman James was helpful in a number of occurrences and myself and father would like to give him a special mention.
You couldn't open a tab and add to it throughout your stay. It would have been ideal to do this so that at the end of our stay, three nights, me and my dad could split the bill. As it was, I am sure he paid for most things!
