The room needed a blackout blind as the light from outside shone through the vertical blind which made it hard to go a sleep. The pillow was too flat.

Location for Bicester Heritage was great. Opposite pub. Great parking. Clear check in instructions. Breakfast, milk etc handy. Close to shops. Clean.
Mattresses are so uncomfy, you can feel the springs and they flatten easily. Only 1 pillow on each bed. Walls need painting. Room was dingy and depressing. Could hear everything from next door rooms. No tea and coffee in room (never encountered this before).

Location to where we were going was great. Parking also very good. Pub across the road real value for money.
Bed very uncomfortable. Didn't see any staff whatsoever but probably that's the way things are now. Only 1 pillow provided when ask for for more was told fully booked no extra pillows. My wife suffers with asthma and has problems breathing. If you run B and B have extra pillows. Toilet, I felt like Harry Potter the cupboard under the stairs. Breakfast was serial or toast but plenty of coffee đ

Very clean, didn't see anyone which was fine. Just like staying at home.
Needed more plug sockets.

No hassle check-in.
A room with your own private toilet and shower. Some guesthouses don't even have that.
The room was clean and the room temperature perfect.
Nothing i didnt like.

Breakfast room was what I expected and a choice of cereal or toast. Plenty of space to park behind the property.
The bed was to soft. It would appear that I was sleeping on some form of mattress topper.

Nothing really! Really bad experience and left the next day. Couldn't stay for the 2nd night.
I got the disables room which I never requested. The room was next to the main door which I could hear from 6am people coming in and out. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows had lumps in them, which I basically stayed up all night long. The bathroom due to the fact that was for disables, the floor was wet after I had a shower and in the morning it stunk. And in the morning when I was trying to find a taxi or Uber, no one would pass from that area. Next day I left and had to pay another hotel to stay.

Love the location, friendliness of staff. Always stay here when in Bicester, quite a few times each year!
A top blanket for colder weather would definitely be appreciated. I do feel the cold a lot.

Location was good easy to find/ parking
continental breakfast selection you canât moan for the price really.
i know itâs cheap but It was so loud during the night I couldnât sleep till late was almost like the locks on the door where loose and the doors kept hitting against one another I actually went to check the front door was closed as the rattling was so annoying along with other banging coming from the bathroom the house keeper was knocking on the door at 10:10 even though checkouts not till 10:30 the lamp shade looked like it hadnât been cleaned in 5 years it was covered in dust (badly) I seen in the morning allergy probably why I was sneezing the housekeeper didnât look very friendly and I did mention about the dust and the towels looked like they had better days all ragged up .

Quiet accommodation and fuss-free check in. Well heated, no issues at night.
The kitchen wasn't very well equipped, no tea or coffee and breakfast selection was very basic. Unpleasant smell from the bathroom.

We stayed here for the location and had no high expectations. The room was warm, and the beds were comfortable. The price was fair for the location. Parking was easy. Wifi.
- noisy outside vent kept me awake ( the shutter moved in the wind)
- breakfast is extremely basic
- the place is more like a hostel than a hotel. There is zero soundproofing. You will hear other guests.
-the walls were dirty and need re-painting
- the shelf over the tiny sink meant it was impossible to really use the sink.
- the area behind the toilet needs a proper scrub

The hotel room was clean and the bed is comfortable.
The location is good, close to the Bicester North station and to my work place (Bicester Herritage).
The room and TV are very small. Its not a very comfortable place for staying in your room.
The breakfast could have more options - just bread, butter, jam and nutela.
3.5 / 5.0
Good value for money. Easy walk from the railway station and buses pass the door. Lots of places to eat nearby.
The shower in my toom was dirty and the TV remote was missing, however I was quickly swapped to another room (all organised very quickly by text message). Having no staff on site felt a bit impersonal, but overall a good stay.
3.5 / 5.0
good value as usual and clean, like letting ourselves in and to breakfast etc.
room 4 tv not working, bed near door very soft & no plug for sink.

It was the 26th September and the temperature was 9degrees and the summer duvet was on the bed. I felt a bit cold.
4.0 / 5.0
it was good value and very clean. good to have a choice of food for breakfast and plenty of supplies provided. check in and other info communicated efficiently and requests responded to quickly.
no sink in the conservatory to wash up cups or get running water, the bathrooms would benefit from a bathmat too.
2.5 / 5.0
Basic facilities with a get your own breakfast of juice, cereal and toast, which was more than fine for a 1-2 night stay. The rooms and rest of the place was perfectly clean and in good condition. Access from the main road was easy and there was sufficient parking on site. A pub across the street was an easy place to get a quick meal at night.
We were emailed a pass code to enter the property with the key to our rooms being "in each room", check-in time 14:00. We had travelled from the overnight Liverpool Ferry that morning and arrived at 13:00. So we checked to see if the pass worked and whether our rooms might be ready. This was the case and so I went into my room to leave off my bag and quickly refresh. On coming out I found my brother being confronted outside by a person from the guest house. I'm not sure if she was an employee or owner. She was very annoyed that we had entered a little early and kept repeating to my brother that he should have asked permission. When I also apologised and explained, she continued to repeat in a confrontational way that we should have asked first, several times. She made us feel like naughty boys in front of a sever school mistress. So we politely apologised again, smiled and headed on our way. The strange thing is that when she initially met my brother outside and enquired why he was there, he explained that he had a booking for the next two nights. At which point she suggested that he went on in! So odd given the confrontation we faced when she found out that we had already done so. On the final day I received an email notification stating "As you arrived an hour before check in time without any requests or notification, we would like to kindly remind you that your check out time on Sunday will be by 10:30 am. Hopefully you wonât miss that one." Clearly she was not letting go of the issue and through this email sought to further berate and intimidate us. If she is an employee, the owners need to send her on a customer service training course. If she is the owner and does not want more reviews like this, we suggest she softens her approach to paying customers.
