truly relaxing holiday thanks to impeccable service

The attention to detail, the quality and choice of breakfast (so much fresh and home-made stuff...). In the evening guests can drink a free glass of Porto while eating a sweet before going to bed.

Soggiorno fantastico a Sintra

Stanza molto spaziosa, luminosa e pulita. In posizione centrale e vicina alla alla stazione degli autobus di Sintra. Ottima la colazione inclusa con prodotti tipici! Consigliato!

Loved the room - quiet and quaint. Would stay again.

The room was clean and quiet and spacious enough for the two of us. The bed was comfy and it was great for a short stay. We were within walking distance of the historic town, and there is a coffee shop on the corner. It was very good to have a locker to leave our luggage in after we checked out, so we could tour without having to lug our stuff.

Would have been nice to have some creamer for coffee available - nothing that was a deal breaker. Also, when we were looking for the storage locker, we entered the lower floor and found a kitchen / bar area. We didn't know if that was available to us or not - that would be nice to know.

Excellent value accommodation near shops in Sintra

Convenient location but quiet 🤫 comfy large bed 🛌 room at back gave view of 🌳

The I structuon to take rubbish out without providing a larger bag. No problem taking it out but had to en sure we got a supermarket plastic bag .

The bed is comfortable and great! The location is very nice with everything within Sintra within walking distance. Rooms are very spacious and hotel gives tea/coffee & fruits all the time.

The windows of our room were directly to the street and sidewalk, made it slightly uncomfortable to get fresh air in the room

Clean, comfortable and friendly- we'd recommend to anyone!

The whole place was very welcoming and immaculately clean. I loved the fact there was a WC available on arrival and lockers to store luggage before our room became available. There was an issue with the smart lock on our room door but this was very quickly resolved with a spare key, with good communication from the guesthouse owner. Our room was quiet, clean, with a very nice bathroom. Overall we had a great stay and were very impressed!

The only small suggestion is that we'd have liked a few more sachets of tea/coffee in the room (i.e. 1 per night of stay), as there was only 1 each so we had to buy a whole box of instant coffee for only 3 days.

Charming and well kept old building, shared kitchen to use.

The air freshener and cleaning products used were very smelly and would give you a headache. I think they are hiding the smell of the old house that might be a bit moldy.

Very relaxed and comfortable room

Lovely room in a very quiet place. Very relaxing and nice room. The atmosphere of the room is very nice and matches the laid-back atmosphere of Sintra. This place is well worth staying here.

Very basic.

It was clean and the bed was big.

I guess we expected a bit more from this place. It was very basic and felt like a “youth hostel”. The room was rather smelly.

everything was great!!

The room was very nice and clean and also quite big. The bed was also very big. Nearby are small cafes and restaurants and it is also close to the old town. The price-performance ratio (at least in February) is definitely right and we would come back any time!

The pillows were a bit uncomfortable, but that's complaining on a high level! All in all, there is nothing bad to say!

Very good value for money

The room was clean and warm (we stayed in December), comfortable bed, beautiful building

There was some minor issue with the time of access code activation but it was solved quickly and efficiently

Very good

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to see a light, bright double aspect room with plenty of space for a couple. The room was very clean and the self check in was very efficient. There is a pleasant common area with tables to eat and sofas to sit on.

The hot water in the shower did not work that well, it did not get that hot and the pressure was not the best. The property is about a 10 minute walk from the station and there is not a great deal of night life in the immediate vicinity.

Sintra experience

The room was very comfortable, spacious and a large bed. Location was very good. Rooms are clean. And even though I stayed at the road side, the noise was not bothering me at all. For future, I will be back.

As usual, the plumbing does give off a faint smell in the bathroom. But not disturbing though. 3 different entry codes is a bit much I believe but as there is no check in staff, it is a must due to security.

Nice place to stay

Nice guesthouse. Spacious rooms, well equipped and clean. Has laundry but didn't use and secure lockers if you arrive early.

Can get noisy--rooms facing the street have noise from outside from cars on the rd and people walking past (especially if drunk) and was woken multiple times by banging downstairs and a crying baby that was actually down the hall but was sounded like it was nearer. One sound proofing is needed. Also the landmarks are further than stated on the website/listing, add another 5 min walking to all estimates at least. Toilet seat was either loose or broken. Fridge not very cold. No keurig coffee for the machine in the common kitchen area. Check out is early considering check in is late.

very happy with our stay

having a code to get in, no people needed to be there. bottle of wine was a nice welcome. comfortable beds, good shower.

couldn’t leave our suitcases there when we arrived early. parking was a challenge.

We enjoyed being there and would definitely recommend the guesthouse to others.

The bed was spectacular! The place was immaculate. The value was excellent. We were near the the train station. the place was quiet. Though staff was not on the premises, they were very attentive.

Nothing. we were pleased with everything. We had requested early check in but unfortunately they were unable to do that. We had a locker to store our bags until the room was ready.

Exceeded what we wanted. Very easy to find and access.

Check-in was hassle free and easy. Room was lovely and clean and the bed was huge and comfy. The shower is nice and we appreciated the body lotion provided. Contacting them through the site got a quick response as well so that was reassuring!

Just know there's a municipal fee to pay on top of what you pay at booking.com. It's only 1€ a night per person so it's not an issue, just be aware you'll be prompted to pay it before you commemce your stay to ensure you're provided with the codes to access the guest house.

Quiet neighborhood, walking distance from the historical centre. Good bakery & restaurant nearby. Luggage storage available.

The bathroom wasn’t very clean at arrival.
