The staff member who checked us in was super helpful, she even popped down and put the heating on for us before our arrival because the temperature had dropped. The room was exactly as shown and was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. We didn't hear anything from the restaurant/bar and we stayed on a Saturday night.
We had no problems with our stay

Spacious car park, close to town
Dirty stairs, shoe polish on the base of the bed, stale water in the kettle, no coat hooks, no table, no thermostat, loud main road outside, bathroom heater defective.

Central location
Wasn’t very clean and appeared tired and in need of a good refresh

There is ample parking next to the hotel and out of hours access is easy through the side door in the car park, once you have booked in and have a key fob. There was no noise at night so the room was quiet. The room was clean with plenty of tea, coffee etc supplied and more on request and plenty of clean fluffy towels. This hotel would be great for someone only needing a bed to sleep in as the facilities are sparse. The staff and owners were very friendly, when they were there, and locals in the bar were very friendly.
On booking the room we stated our arrival time would be 2pm so the hotel contacted us to advise reception was only available between 3pm & 9pm but early book in could be arranged, if necessary, we declined as were able to delay our arrival slightly but confirmed we required accessible room as my husband used a wheelchair. The hotel advised it was the first room off the bar, easy access you would think, but failed to say that the bar was also reception and there was no access through the bar at any other time as the front doors and the door next to our room were locked at all other times so the only access from our room was up a long corridor through 3 heavy fire doors, not ideal if there had been a fire. The sign in the room stated the bar would be open from 3pm til late however although we were sat in the bar having a couple of drinks on the Sunday, we were advised it would be closing at 8pm, but we could take drinks to our room if we wanted!! Although it is advertised as having a restaurant there was no food available. There was no daily housekeeping, as stated, the bin wasn’t even emptied or the dirty cups changed. Although the wet room was well equipped the floor tiles were like a skating rink once wet so very dangerous for anyone especially with mobility issues. The TV didn’t work and the shelf holding the kettle was very unstable, if someone had put too much weight on it would have fallen off the wall.

We were visiting friends and it's only a 5 minute walk to their house. Its clean and ideal for what we were looking for
Could do with extras pillows in the room, even if they are in the wardrobe as spare ones

I was a little disappointed that the hotel no longer offer breakfast meaning I had to travel elsewhere for this. Other than that, it's clean, practical, centrally located with plenty of parking.

Nothing
When we first arrived at the hotel the first think we noticed was the corridor and stairs up to the rooms it was disgusting I looked like a dog had the runs and wiped it's arse all the way up and back down again. I understand the heating prices have gone ip but it must have been about 10 degrees in the rooms and corridor. When we entered the room the carpets were no cleaner there was red stains on the toilet. ( we have no idea what it is but the first thing that comes to mind isn't pleasant) the bedding looks like it's not been washed there is blood all over the mattress protector. Now I understand its to protect the mattress but if it was like this you would bin it we were also told that we can't get food in the hotel as they have stopped food until next year. Overall this hotel is disgusting I have paid 30 pound a night in some hotels and they are better than this. We paid nearly 200pound for 2 nights if I was to rate this hotel it would be half a star and only 1/10 stay away put your money into a hotel that cares about how your room looks and how your treated, angry is a understatement I hope they make improvements to the rooms don't be fooled by the really nice fancy bar area where all there money has gone so far we didn't spend any time in there

Location, because it was within walking distance of the family member's I was visiting.
Bar closed at 20.45, despite stating in hotel details that it was open til late. After the bar closed I was told the front door would be locked and entry to hotel would be via a door entry system at the back of the Hotel. When I returned from my evening out, I had problems with the key fob which was my only means of gaining access to the Hotel as there was No night porter. In fact did not seem to be anyone responsible for the support of guests in the hotel at all at night. The area where entry system was located had no lighting. I eventually got the fob to work thankfully.
Restaurant was closed, so despite advertising as a Restaurant Bar and Grill where Breakfast could be had in the morning and a meal booked in their Indian Restaurant in the evening, None of those facilities were in fact available.

Bar and Bed
No food at all
Cost to stay was high and to offer no food was a massive let down.

Lovely little B&B located 5 minutes walk from Coalville town centre. Perfect if attending an event in town or working in the area. Ample free parking and a nice bar area for drinks & food, nice staff.
Was ok on Saturday....... however can be VERY expensive during major event weekends.

The property was easy to locate and the check in was very efficient and friendly.
The receptionist showed me to the room and explained how to access the hotel when the front doors were closed.
The room was spacious and clean .
The bathroom was quite small however the shower was great with plenty hot water.
There was no meals available but there are options close to the hotel.
Only point a chair in the room would have been nice instead of having to sit on the bed all of the time.

Very handy for us as our friends live in the next street. Key fob entry is very convenient
No hairdryer. Everywhere has one so I didn't take one. Reception is at the side of the bar and it can be daunting walking in to a bar full of people

Being able to park the car right outside our room was a bonus. Each time we returned from our travels we felt happy to be there.
At first we had a room where lights were broken and not sure if they were fixed. At first we were allocated an upstairs room but having trouble with stairs the lovely Sammie gave us a ground floor room which was much appreciated.
