快適でした。

宿泊当日と次の日あいにくの雨でした。琵琶湖の景色を楽しみにしていたので、残念でした。

朝食をお願いしようと思いましたが、 2,500円からとのことで少し高いと思いました。

竹生島フェリー乗り場の前。帰りは、駅までバスで送ってくれた。夜のお料理（和食竹生島）も朝のバイキングも美味しかった。

スタッフの皆さんにはよい対応をしてもらった。ロケーションもとても良かったです。また泊まりに行きます。

冬なのにトイレの便座が冷たい。掛け布団は薄すぎる。また朝食の味噌汁が保温されていない。冬の滞在はちょっときついと感じた。

付かず離れずの接客。近隣の夜ごはんの店を尋ねたところ、何件か候補を挙げてくれた。下調べをしっかりしていると感じた。

全体に気持ちよく過ごせた。

駅から歩ける。　雰囲気が良い。船乗り場に近いので琵琶湖観光がしやすい。朝食が美味しかった。

ロケーションを期待していたが窓が小さく、へやからのオーシャンビューが残念だった。同じ理由で温泉の広さが欲しい。せっかく琵琶湖に面しているのに窓など開放感がなく残念だった。

Beds uncomfortable. Meal sizes very small. Very disappointing. not value for money. Years of allowing smoking inside has etched into the walls.

Nice, relaxing stay at Lake Biwa.

I particularly liked the view from my room which included Mt. Ibuki and Lake Biwa. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. There was a nearby lakeside park from which the sunset could be observed.

Poor

A most helpful staff member with good English who helped us into a slightly better room.

The rooms were in need of renovation, carpets are stained beyond belief. First room had a small wooden table and two small wooden chairs,no sofa as promised.Second room had sofa,but was just as run down.This hotel is over priced for its general standards.

Very reasonable and good to visit by car. And wonderful location if you are taking a ferry to go to Chikubu Island!

Planned to go to Chikubu Island. And the ferry terminal for the island is just in front of the hotel. Very convenient.

There’s nothing around this hotel. Nearest convenience store is about 10 minutes walk. The facility is clean. However, a bit old.

Pleasant place for a short stay.

Very hardworking and kind staff. The lake view is nice. If you like this restaurant, you will have a very good Japanese breakfast.

The rooms are a bit weak and the wifi is poor.

Fantastic hotel

Rooftop sento, you can see the lake from the outdoor jacuzzi. Everything was spotlessly clean, very nice, and the staff were excellent. I was doing the Biwako bike ride and it’s right on the route for that.

An oasis located right on the lake with an excellent Italian restaurant.

The dinner at the Italian restaurant La Spiaggia was fabulous. The meal and the produce was delicious and the wine service was excellent, something I thoroughly enjoy as a Sommelier myself. Even though it was a quiet night in the restaurant, we were looked after very well and not rushed at all.

Breakfast was a bit bland but under the covid-19 rules, it is very difficult to manage government rules and customer expectation.

Beautiful hotel, but overpriced.

It is a well decorated hotel. The staff were super kind. The views on the lake from the breakfast hall are very nice. It is in walking distance from the train station.

The air conditioning (heating) could not really be turned off. Even 10 hours after we switched off the heating, temperature had only decreased of 2 degrees, to 23 Celsius, which was too hot for us.

The hotel was mediocre and I will return to the previous hotel where I used to stay.

The lobby was spacious.

The room was small and cramped. The breakfast was a fixed Japanese breakfast on a tray with no choice. One reason we chose this hotel was that many people raved about the excellent breakfast which must have been stopped due to Covid.

A very nice hotel with nice view of Lake Biwa

Front desk was able to provide me with bicycle parking! The room was spacious with a pretty good view of Lake Biwa. The bed was very comfortable and there were extra pillows.

Nice staff.

Cost performance is very bad for this area, location and the facility. The bathroom was very old too. No shops near here or inside the hotel to buy some necessities you would buy at convenience stores.

Simply amazing!

An amazing 4-star hotel located just next to the shoreline, and all rooms have a view of the beautiful Lake Biwa. Right next to parklands and Nagahama castle, and 5 mins from the city centre and old town market street. Staff was really helpful, the room was impeccably clean, and there are several really good restaurants located inside the hotel building. Also, free parking. If you travel during the rainy season, you can get a room for as little as £50, in which case it is the bargain of the year!

Nothing, really. Things can get significantly more expensive during Japanese holidays, but this just means that it is good enough to attract domestic tourists.
