Beautiful 4-Star Hotel outside of City Center, but worth the value

The room was huge. I must've been upgraded to a larger suite or something. The staff was also incredibly kind and helpful with questions. This hotel is in a super quiet part of Rome but that also gives it appeal. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the city center.

There was a couch that was sticky and maybe had been missed by housekeeping. It looked like something had been spilled on it. Otherwise, nothing but good things to say about this place. The balcony was an extra added touch that was really nice to have.

Not maintained had a leak in the bathroom that dripped all night. Staff said they would send maintenance but never did fix it.

Excelente estadia

El hotel es muy bonito y la relación calidad precio buena, el personal excelente y Elda de recepción en especial maravillosa , dispuesta en todo momento, el desayuno bueno .

El único pero es la distancia al centro de Roma. Deberían tener un transporte que te llevará al centro y te regresará al hotel en horas determinadas. Del hotel al centro son aproximadamente 40 minutos en autobús.

Das Hotel ist einfach alt, alles brecht auseinander. Teppichboden voll mit flecken, Badezimmer voll mit kalk und nicht richtig sauber, bei dem Preis haben wir viel mehr erwartet.

Colazione eccezionale. Una delle migliori sul territorio italiano. Varietà di cibi dolci e salati.

La zona vasca/doccia potrebbe aver bisogno di essere ristrutturata, rispetto al moderno delle camere è un pò attempata e presenta segni evidenti di usura.

Posto bellissimo ed elegante, arredamento soft e confortevole, situato in posizione tranquilla e strategica per raggiungere facilmente luoghi da visitare. Staff e personale accogliente, gentile e competente. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, ritorneremo in primavera per una mini vacanza a Roma. Miglior hotel in cui abbiamo soggiornato negli ultimi tempi, considerando che non sempre sono così pulite le strutture, ospitali e confortevoli, nonostante fossero 4 stelle. Grazie per la cortesia e l'ospitalità.

Mi è piaciuto tutto, migliorerei l' orario del check-in perchè siamo arrivati la mattina e abbiamo dovuto aspettare la consegna delle chiavi e accettazione dopo pranzo. Dato che eravamo impegnati in una conferenza importante, abbiamo preso possesso della camera solo in serata! Bisognerebbe diminuire orario di attesa per entrare in hotel, per motivi logistici chi arriva la mattina per lavoro o altro non può usufruire subito della camera. letti comodissimi ma bagni da rivedere

- la cortesia del personale - la possibilità di effettuare il check-out a mezzogiorno - la comodità di letti e cuscini

l’hotel di per sé sarebbe anche un buon quattro stelle. magari un po’ datato, ma buono. comodo per chi si muove in macchina o ha impegni lavorativi all’eur. Però io vorrei fare due chiacchiere con l’architetto che ha disegnato le camere di questo (e molti altri) hotel per capire che problema ha chi progetta le camere senza una adeguata divisione di bagno e letto a totale compromissione della privacy degli ospiti: c’era una sorta di zona lavandini aperta sulla camera, senza porte di separazione, di fronte ai lavandini una sorta di zona guardaroba, e ancora oltre una porta a scorrevole di vetro al di là della quale c’era la parte del bagno con vasca (incamerata in altre vetrate parte delle quali fisse e parte delle quali scorrevoli, con conseguente difficoltà per chi pulisce di lavare con cura tutte le zone e conseguente muffa negli angoli e nelle guarnizioni) e wc e bidet. Questa mania voyeurista di voler lasciare gli ambienti privi di qualsiasi tipo di privacy e separazione sinceramente è una moda insopportabile. Non sempre gli ospiti delle camere doppie sono una coppia come nel nostro caso (e anche in quel caso non a tutti fa piacere una situazione del genere). oltretutto questa faccenda della porta a vetri ha determinato un siparietto imbarazzante perché la prima camera che ci era stata assegnata non l’aveva neanche più: qualcuno la aveva rotta, e quindi teoricamente avremmo dovuto dormire in una camera che non aveva neanche quel minimo di divisione tra il water e il resto degli ambienti. abbiamo ovviamente chiesto (nonostante fossimo arrivati a notte inoltrata e non volessimo far altro che dormire) di essere cambiati di stanza. la nuova stanza aveva la porta della zona wc, ma non chiudeva bene, e aveva un wc che spesso andava in erogazione continua. insomma…

Terrible won't recommend no one.

Nothing went well, I booked 4 rooms and all 4 rooms have a problem with the air conditioner. they all smells and one of them was never cleaned before we went in....... in my room (611) flowed (leaking water from the ceiling). very bad smell

Nothing went well, very disappointed with the facility. I was a customer until this last visit. I was using Barcelo hotel (Roma) for over 12 years but I won't stay any more at this location. and in the Caribbean (Dominican Republic) very duty rooms and smells very bad, so bad that "Daniel" at reception has to give me a different room so I able to sleep comfortable.

Overall average hotel

The staff was very kind and friendly and the room was spacious. The breakfast was good.

No window opens. Ventilation is only through air conditioning. The bathroom is very poorly divided, and the bathroom "door" was a very bad idea as it was designed.

4 night stay in Rome

The staff were very welcoming and helpful every time we had a question or request and the location was good because even though the hotel wasn't in the city center, there was a bus stop within a 2 minute walking distance. There was a mini fridge, hairdryer, adjustable air conditioning and a very good blackout curtain in front of a huge window with a lovely view.

The bed and pillows were rock hard and the bathroom was a bit weird. The bathroom door wouldn't close all the way so there was a 5cm gap between the sliding door and wall. There wasn't a shower curtain so every time you took a shower, the floor would get flooded. The actual toilet was also placed very strangely so you had the leg from the sink between your legs when you sat down and as a tall man, that can be a bit uncomfortable. There was also some problems with overall cleaniness like hairs in the bathroom when we first came in and the floor was quite dusty.
