Apart from the expected amenities, great location above all . plenty of eating options , 5 minutes walking over the smoothly paved shopping street to Central station . excellent connectivity .

Super friendly staff. They allowed us to store a small lugagge for 3 days. Very clean room, comfortable bed and plenty of pillows.

All ok apart from bedroom as already commented. Nice bar and terrace.

Excellent breakfast with good choices. Always appreciate a cooked breakfast. The the scrambled eggs were very nice.

Room was cramped (room 534 I think). The bed is too wide making it difficult to get around, particularly entry to the bathroom.

Easy walking distance from the train station. My room was nice and quiet. Plenty of space for one person, perhaps a little on the small side if there were 2 people. The bathroom is small but adequate and modern. This is a mini fridge in the room.

Dated decor but other than that cosy and comfortable for a quick 1 night stay.

At this price, the Hotel de la Poste is very good option. It is conveniently located close to the train station. The hotel decor is a bit dated, but because this is Switzerland, the room was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and efficient, the elevator was helpful, the mattress was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was good, and the breakfast buffet was convenient when you're in a hurry to catch a train.

The only negative is that the pillows are sad, flat, little things; not much stuffing and only one per person. With more or fuller pillows, we would have slept better (the bed was good otherwise).

All in all: value for money is very good. I'm very satisfied.

The staff was really nice. I hadn't realized that the door code was engraved on the room key late at night when I wanted to go back to the hotel, so I called the hotel emergency hotline and I was very pleasantly surprised at how quickly the call was answered.

Unfortunately, I got a room on the street side and this was noticeable early in the morning because I had the window open overnight. However, the hotel can also nothing about it.

Good value for money. At this price point the expectations were met and slightly exceeded. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of decent quality.

Decor is dated but was this expected. Everything else was fine.

Very central hotel. Quite ‘old fashioned’ but fine for a comfortable night’s stay. Bed comfortable. Shower fine. No air-conditioning but windows open. Didn’t have the breakfast but went to nice cafe next door.
