We stayed for 1 night at the Bedingfeld Arms, the accommodation is in the refurbished stable block and fully met our requirements. Nice comfortable beds ensured we had a good nights sleep for our travels next day.
The pub enjoys very nice local beer and also in the restaurant you get really nice local home grown food, I particularly recommend the Venison and redcurrant suet pudding which was absolutely lovely, followed by the cheese board with all local Norfolk cheeses and a nice couple of pints of local ale and what more could you ask for a lovely evening.
Unfortunately we did not have breakfast as we had an early start next day, but if we are ever in the area again we will be certain to try and stay here again. Thank you
The only thing I can possibly think of is the timing for breakfast, which starts at 8 am, maybe a sitting at 7am might be better but please do not let that deter you from staying here

The room, the staff, the location, the facilities. And the food was delicious!❤️
The noise. Both when going to bed and in the morning, the staff were loud and noisy.
All 5 rooms are in the back yard, and the staff needed to have access through there to their kitchen or pantry.

The starter I had as a snack was delicious and it was great to be able to sit out in the beautiful garden.
The bedside light was hopeless. you could barely see it was on. possibly put in the twin -bedded room as a night light for children, if so it should have been changed.
4.2
Lovely country pub. Breakfast was excellent and we got upgraded so the room was superb.
Nothing really, perhaps the bath plug needed mending, that's all

Main building was lovely , however we stayed in an annexe and it was in need of updating , bathroom shower area not too good.
Annexe shower room needed upgrading for the price we paid for the stay

Food was lovely

Lovely rooms and gorgeous restaurant
/bar. Beautiful village setting
Small issue about the banging of the door to the waste was a bit annoying but it stopped after 10pm.

Food amazing, very beautiful place to stay, nice and quiet. We were a little apprehensive staying at a pub but it was actually lovely, really enjoyed our stay!
Room was a little dusty around the picture frames. Pillows a little hard but otherwise no issues 😊

Historical, well kept, warm.
Nothing

Placed next to a family who shouted at their babies most of the evening. Gravel pathway went past our window so zero privacy and quite noisy. Room was near pub kitchens so a lot of noise including staff calling to one another very late into the evening. Delivery van backing up right by window. We had an early start the next day but weren’t able to get to sleep until around midnight.

The location, the full English was nice
There was no choice of cereal or fruit, the room was not clean there was dust everywhere. The shower had black mould on it , we paid £190 for two nights not worth the value, very disappointed as this was our second stay

The food and the staff were good. Location was pleasant. Everything clean
We had a coach house. More privacy for room. Some new curtain as roller blind made it too dark

Everything!! Lovely spacious comfortable room in a fantastic country pub. The room was immaculate.
The evening meal and breakfast were excellent and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Can’t recommend The Bedingfeld Arms highly enough, we’ll definitely be back!
Nothing, the place is fab!
4.2
Nice breakfast selection that included various versions of egg benedict and crushed avocado.
Nice evening meal menu selection, albeit costly, but at least reasonably priced wine.
Shower lacked comvenient place to put shampoo shower gel while in shower and toilet roll just placed on table rather than on a holder.
Evening food menu quite expensive despite the good quality, particularly when there was no alternative bar menu to have a modest meal/snack/sandwich option - and no local alternative venue to use for less formal dinning.

The food was goad as was the atmosphere. Staff were helpful.
It was very hard to contact the hotel by phone. It took four calls despite leaving messages asking for a call back.
4.2
location, friendliness of staff, breakfast, dinner, drinks selection, room - all was lovely!
Little more space in bathroom to put your toiletries and a magnifying mirror would have helped :)

cosy atmosphere
pillows were hard and needs a refresh

This was a weird hotel, restaurant food was good but the staff when we arrived were not polite and were in a bad mood. Also what was odd that 21.20 everyone left the restaurant on a Saturday night! The room was over priced and was very tatty. Not worth the money. The breakfast was very good and the waitress was happy and helpful. We were not told that the room was outside in a chalet type, if we had know we would not have booked. We will never stay here again.

Breakfast was very good, and big portions
I had a ground floor room with roller blind at window. This meant that I had to keep the blind down even when it was light as people walk right past the window. We had booked a table for dinner several weeks earlier but were given a table apart from the main restaurant.

Nice & comfy, food was excellent
Friendly staff

the property was well maintained to a high standard and so comfortable and warm
having to leave it !!!!

We had Room 7 which was significantly larger than our previous stay. The room was well equipped and very comfortable.
The dinner was a step up from the last time we stayed; to which we passed onto the staff, and the breakfast is always very good.
No complaints on any aspect of our stay.
4.2
Beautiful location, attractive building, comfortable room, great food and friendly staff
Had problems with the shower, reported to reception so hopefully it will be repaired. Would have been perfect if it had worked properly
4.2
Comfortable clean room, excellent food and friendly staff, a great place to stay. Breakfast was absolutely superb, absolutely first rate and the service is top notch too.
After pub bar shuts, there’s quite a lot of noise from outside in the car park. The pub does ask people leaving to be quiet but it seems quite a few patrons have little consideration for those residents needing to get to sleep.
4.2
Lovely large clean rooms, beautifully decorated. Amazing food and very friendly staff
Metal bed very noisy you wake each other up turning in the night. No where in bathroom for your products
4.2
Room 3 in the courtyard was excellent & totally suitable with our Labrador. Room was perfectly adequate & nice & warm. Shower cubicle was a touch small although my 6+ foot hubby managed but ventilation fan needs to be improved… great value for money though & restaurant food was exceptional x
Bathroom ventilaton needs improving which will sort out the mould on the sealant & paint peeling on the shower area ceiling
4.2
Dinner and breakfast was superb, couldn’t fault it. Would come back for the food tomorrow. English breakfast was reasonably priced for the quality of ingredients. The pub is charming and has a lovely feeling.
The room we received had a disabled bathroom which wasn’t very nicely presented at all. The room itself was pleasant but the dust under the beds (I dropped my makeup and had to retrieve from under the bed) and in other places was a little off putting.
4.2
Breakfast excellent, Dinner exceptionally good ( all three courses ) Staff are all lovely , so accommodating . We were upgraded to the Penthouse suite which is gorgeous. The location is perfect if visiting Oxburgh hall ( next door ) Location is quiet in a nice village . Would wholeheartedly recommend
Everything was perfect
