Matera, eine sehr außergewöhnliche Stadt - mit vielen romantischen Ecken

Lage, Lage, Lage - wir hatten von unserem Balkon einen herrlichen Blick auf die Altstadt von Matera. Der Check-in verlief unkompliziert per E-Mail. Die Einrichtung war etwas rustikal, aber sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Größe des Zimmers und Balkons war sehr angenehm und der Blick war sehr romantisch - besonders gegen Abend. Das Frühstück war in einem nahegelegen Café und wurde mit einem Gutschein unkompliziert bestellt und bezahlt. Es war sehr lecker und man hat einige Wahlmöglichkeiten für einen guten Start in den Tag.

Wenn man so einen besonderen Ausblick mag, muss man in Kauf nehmen, dass man nicht direkt bei der Unterkunft parken kann. Das Parkhaus liegt ca. 400 m entfernt. Was nicht weiter schlimm ist , da man die Stadt eh am besten zu Fuß erkundet.

Une vue magnifique et très bien placé !

Une vue exceptionnelle de la terrasse. Rien que pour cette terrasse ça vaut le coup ! La chambre est aussi très bien placée et tout près des zones où l’on peut se garer. Je suis arrivée en self booking et même chose pour le départ. Une très bonne communication avec Milena par WhatsApp. J’ai pris mon petit déjeuner au Lounge Café, un des 2 cafés inclus. Très bien, personnel très sympa.

Chambre un peu sommaire mais il y avait tout ce qu’il fallait pour une nuit.

Fantastisch!

Matera is niet voor 1 dag maar voor meer dagen geschikt. Prima uitvalbasis voor stad,wandelen en omgeving.

Bed in 2e kamer was iets minder.( hebben in 2 verschillende kamers overnacht.)

The Sassi -GREAT views!!

Location is fantastic! The apartment was very adequate:) The view is amazing! The host was quite responsive.

The coffee maker didn’t work but that was okay- we walked and had a nice coffee only minutes away!

Il letto stile anni 80 con testata in ottone ed i materassi singoli accostati , bruttissimo , caduta di stile risolvibile con minimo investimento economico La ventola del bagno (cieco) molto rumorosa Il fatto di dover pagare io in quanto ospite i due euro di bollo poiché la proprietaria è in regime forfettario

Struttura centralissima, pulita e accogliente. Balconcino con vista mozzafiato. Milena è stata molto dolce e disponibile.super consigliato. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

Bella camera con vista mozzafiato sui sassi, ottima posizione, centralissima, in ztl, ma si può parcheggiare nei dintorni sia a pagamento e sia gratuito.

La colazione al bar è di fondo una buona idea perché lo spazio in struttura non permette di far colazione, il bar che era aperto non ci ha soddisfatto. È possibile farla in due bar nei paraggi, nei giorni in cui ho pernottato uno dei due era chiuso.

Really special to stay at this hillside accommodation, highly recommend and we do hope one day to return. Matera Italy’s

It’s such a quirky accommodation built out of a cave. You step out and can see all of Matera from the door it’s so pretty. Easy location with access to the main square and all the walking routes. Very friendly helpful lady who helped us map out places to go. My sons are James Bond fans spot was very cool to pinpoint the filming locations. And also to visit the caves. Amazing. Would love to return in the busier summer season.

Being a Brit I missed having a kettle to make a cup of tea, just the coffee maker. But no spoons to stir. Also shower seemed to leak water all over floor despite our best efforts to prevent it. Felt bad using extra towels to mop it up. But these for us are relatively minor things.

겨울에도 따뜻한 100점짜리 싸씨뷰 방

창밖에서 보이는 싸씨의 뷰가 너무 예뻤음. 전망대 찾아갈 필요가 없음 따뜻한 물 잘 나오고 수압도 세고 화장실도 청결했음 싸씨 숙소 묵어보고 싶은데 춥다고 해서 걱정했는데 라디에이터 돌아가고 히터도 쎄서 하나도 안 춥고 오히려 따뜻했음 위치도 메인과 가까워서 돌아다니기 좋고, 체크인때 지도 펼쳐놓고 하나하나 설명하고 체크해줘서 혼자 지도만 들고 다녀도 놓친데 없이 구석구석 다닐 수 있었음 아침은 바우처ㅠ들고가면 먹을 수 있는데 기대없이 갔는데 생각보다 넘 맛났음

이건 개선점이 아니라 싸씨에 묵으면 어쩔 수 없이 감수해야 하는 것 같다. 계단. 단, 위치가 좋은 숙소라 고통이 길지는 않음.

Замечательное расположение, вид на весь пещерный город Матера с балкончика, очень большой номер со всеми удобствами в настоявшей бывшей пещере Матеры, очень историчный Все необходимое было, цена в несезон- отличная Очень рекомендую для семьи

MATERA ENAMORA

La ubicación perfecta ( solo para adultos). Si vas con carrito de bebé es más complicado. Puedes recorrer el casco antiguo andando sin problema. La habitación tiene aire acondicionado/ calefacción ( estuvimos calentitas). El desayuno lo tienes a pocos metros del alojamiento. Un café , un zumo natural y un dulce o salado. También tenias cafetera con café en la habitación.

La decoración era un poco peculiar pero sin importancia. Nos cobraron en efectivo una vez allí la tasa turística y claro, como ahora nadie lleva dinero en efectivo, tuvimos que andar cambiando. Pero también sin importancia.

Amazing location with views of the Sassi.

The host was very helpful in providing check-in information. The location was amazing, close to the Sassi areas with remarkable views from the pleasant balcony. There was a nice breakfast available by coupon at a nearby café, and good restaurants within a short walk. An excellent base for exploring Matera.

Coffee making facilities were in the reception area only, and limited to espresso---no decaf. An in-room kettle would have been nice.

Très belle chambre d'hôtes bien placée

Notre hôtesse n'était pas présente à notre arrivée. Nous avons reçu le matin même un what's app expliquant bien comment faire pour se rendre au logement avec photos à l’appui, et des conseils pour le parking. Nous l'avons vu le lendemain matin, elle est francophone et très agréable, et ne taris pas de conseils pour les visites et les repas. La chambre est très bien, mais c'est sport pour y arriver si vous avez des problèmes de mobilité, mais c'est vrai pour tout déplacement dans Matera... Super vue sur les sassis et le Duomo depuis la petite terrasse.

Pas de ménage pendant le séjour. Petit déjeuner frugal mais assez suffisant dans un bar à 200m Nous étions coté rue, et dès 6h00, les véhicules à moteur passent régulièrement

Beautiful view, very central location

Great location, very central, and with a fantastic view looking over the sassi. There is a sort of shared balcony with a lounge and it's a nice spot to watch the world go by. The room was clean, modern, spatious. It had a kitchenette which was well equipped. The instructions and communication from staff were good.

Just that the air conditioning wasn't very powerful so I was a bit hot.

Stay here especially if you need good working wifi

Cave Rooms were awesome. Great wifi with a router in each room. Breakfast was superb. Staff were so friendly. Excellent view in the morning of the balloons and about 5 minutes walk downhill to the center of town.

Our shower head was broken and the shower leaked water everywhere. Parking lot was very very small making it difficult to park. People just blocked others in and there was a high risk of your car getting swiped. We were lucky and had no issues.

Unsatisfactory and disappointing

This is NOT a location for people with mobility issues!! There was no indication of this on any info about them. Extremely steep up and down tight steps to get to our room. No help to scale these monster stairs!! No need to stay in Matera or I Sassi more than 1 day. Nothing to do there other than view the grottos. Just miserable 3 nights

Matera Magic

The position high up with a private deck overlooking the Sassi, close to everything in walking distance to look around. Staff were great.

That I could not stay longer we had six days but the place is mesmerising and uniquely atmospheric.
