staffs are friendly and kind. the place and neat and clean. I had dogs and they loved animals and I felt good. location is close to many things. there is hot water which is very important to me.
for the price, room was very small. towel are quite rough. staff does not know so much, so better not ask any tourist info. ( but they are just local people and they do not know.)
the worst thing was sleep. I was there saturday night. there was massive noise and party till 2am. I could not sleep at all. it was terrible. I learnt in Colombia, I should not stay near the center of city weekend. ( well I do not know about weekdays) for me, very important to be able to sleep, so I will give bad review for this hotel.
No braekfast, well, I believe they should provide breakfast for this price. I stayed another place similar area. I got half price and including breakfast and bigger room. they were just cooking for themselves. and kitchen they had notice that ' if you use oven, you need to pay 5000 cop each time." I did not use kitchen but I felt awkward.....

The location and the property were really great. It's a beautiful building with an enormous wraparound porch with beautiful views to the south and west. Also, the people who own and staff the place are really nice and there is a warm feel here. Also, great to have parking on site since the street situation in Salento can be pretty difficult.
Quiet place, close to but far enough away, from the bustle of downtown Salento. Great for people who want to be able to walk around town but don't want to be in the party.
There just could have been a few more basic comforts in the room, like a chair and more surface to use to put stuff out on like shelves in the bathroom. I did take the room for 5, because it was all that they had left, so that is on me that the space was mostly filled with beds.

The hotel is very well located, practically in the center of Salento, it also has parking.
Everything is relatively recently remodeled and new.
The owner is very friendly.
They have free coffee.
As in any hostel we thought we could use the kitchen but it is not allowed.
The lady has 4 cats and two dogs. I love animals, but cat hair is everywhere in the common areas, even on the dining room table.

Beautiful hostel with wrap around deck. Lovely to just sit there. Right in town yet very quiet. Good wifi. Comfortable room. Hot water. Secured parking. We had a great chat one morning with Rosa the owner who explained to us the story of that property. Highly recommend. Great value for the price.

very helpful and friendly staff. Location is great. There is free coffee and a nice kitchen.
Not the fault of the property but there were dogs barking and roosters crowing all night long. Also you could hear the other guests talking in the next room.
The bedlinen was dirty with hair that were clearly not mine.

Staff were nice
Have an aluminium shower unit built into the bathroom and you cant move without hitting something and the corner was a bit broken and sharp and it was lower than my head height and hence I whacked my head off it twice and the 2nd time cut me about inch or 2 away from my temple.I am tall but not the tallest man on the planet and I know I am not the first that has had this problem and probably wont be the last . I have had a pain in the side of my head all the next day and couldn't sleep at night as I was in pain. Just if tou are in any way tall do not go here , it will happen to you too.

The place was very quiet, great location, very clean and the staff were very friendly, always making sure we were OK. The beds were comfy and warm. Only 2min walk to the centre and lots of places to eat nearby.
Nothing our experience was faultless.

The location was close to the main plaza, but on a quiet street. The staff was super nice and let us leave our bags when we arrived early and departed late.
Walls were very thin and you could hear people talking in the common areas and outside the window on the patio.

Easy to get to main square where jeeps go from
Staff and owner bit strange and unfriendly. They don't change toilet bins during the stay. No mention of curfew but hostal was locked at 11pm and I needed to bang on the door for 15 mins to be let in, where I was told that I didn't need to be so loud. On checkout my card didn't work and I was treated as if I didn't have the mondy to pay. Left them the cash and escaped from this world of strangeness. Basically you are in an old woman's house

Beautiful views from the patio, convenient location, big kitchen - everything nice and clean! Wish we could have stayed a bit longer :)
I don't remember having problems with anything :)
