Very enjoyable, except for those stairs!

Location extremely central, and within walking distance of most amenities in Keswick. Great views from upper floor. Comfortable. Spacious. Well-equipped kitchen.

Those stairs! Could do with bannister on left hand wall on middle section. Extremely cold on arrival. Fire in living room needs to be fixed, no light. Caretaker needs to check lighting, bulb in bedroom bedside lamp had to be replaced by us. Information book for clients also needs updating, several conflicting paragraphs. Living room TV reception was non-existent. Needs retuned.

Excellent location. Spotless. Everything you need for a home from home

It’s just excellent. The app says it’s 400 m from the centre. It’s not even that far. The main car park is across the street. And that’s it your there. It’s spotless. Well equipped kitchen. The only thing I would say for us guests that are used to gas oven is that they provide instructions for the oven. It took 4 adults to work it out 🙈. Not that you would need to cook with take away and restaurant options just there. So 10 out of 10 for everything. I would definitely return ❤️❤️❤️❤️

No towels had to ri g office then go and collect them. No batteries in the TV remote had to go and buy some

Good staying

Location , house is big and comfortable. Lovely views from the main room.

There was an issue with the heating when we arrived to the house. We made a complain to the letting agency and they said they would look into this the next day. We spent the night without heating and hot water and the house was freezing cold. The following day, after a second complain, the agency sent someone to check the boiler and it was sorted.

Great cottage!

Fantastic cottage, fantastic location. Great facilities, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Lots of space. Highly recommended

The only issue is the parking. The website does state that it's a space for a small car but you have to hunt for that info, could be mentioned at the top of the post. We completely missed it. We have a Vauxhall Grandland so not small, and it was a bit of a nightmare parking. However we managed it every day, just took quite a bit of manoeuvri

Terrible.

Nothing. There was rubbish at the front door. There wasn’t so much as a single teabag when we arrived.

Nobody told me the code to get the key from the box. It took me 2 hours to get it. The emergency contact person didn’t answer his phone. The parking space is extremely narrow. I crashed my car getting in.

Cosy, family friendly cottage in the centre of Keswick

The cottage was super clean and cosy. It was located right in the centre of Keswick. It really felt like home away from home. Perfect for a family with 2 kids.

The parking is a hard one. Very tight to get in and out as there is a small ridge posing danger to damaging your car a nervous parking person who dose not like tight spots will struggle. The guest in the cottage guests next door who share the space agreed with us. It was a tricky one!

A lovely little cottage, comfy and ideally located

Fantastic location literally a stones throw away from the Main Street in Keswick. Cottage was well equipped and had every utensil you might need. Very clean and tidy cottage.

The stairs up to the top bedroom might be a little challenging for some people

Lovely comfortable house in a great location

Great location, very comfortable and warm house. Super shower.

check in time was changed less than 36 hours before we we due to travel so I got a message declining our check in time - I was worried our booking had been cancelled so needed a couple of phone calls. Not great.

Brilliant would highly recommend a stay here

Great location just yards from local amenities and great views...cottage well equipped with everything and more you would need...cosy and warm and lots of space...

Pleasant house in excellent location but extremely expensive for a 2 bedroom cottage.

Good location - close to town centre. Pleasant accomodation.

Very good

We loved the location of the Cottage and the cottage itself was very comfortable and has everything we needed for our weekend stay.

The communication from the host before check in was non existent, I had to telephone Cottages.com on the day we arrived to obtain the check on details and for the code to open the key safe, so we could enter the cottage.

Great stay love the lakes.

Cottage was in a great position in town everything in walking distance went on some great walks social distancing in Keswick was well organised very enjoyable holiday.

Should have been notified washing machine wasn’t working ,would have taken more clothes ,key box was not locking to leave keys on departure tried all numbers on booking form as we had to leave early for hospital appointment so ended up after 1 hour of trying to contact someone we put keys in envelope with a note through office door tried ringing all the way home to no avail to check they had keys , rang booking when we got home and asked them to contact office our stay was great as lakes are our favourites holidays .

Ideal location

Position close to town centre , parking at the rear but very tight space to enter and exit . As it says SMALL car parking so be warned !

Double bed on top floor and not on same floor as bath room with awkward stairs with low headroom at the top ! Cheap looking electric fire in living room.
