Staff was very nice.
We weren't quite impressed by the food, both dinner and breakfast.

离车站就是步行几分钟的距离,酒店还有专车到车站接。酒店很大很有历史,可是保持很好,很干净。三个大的温泉分别在三栋楼里面,房间的池子也是温泉水,可以在房间泡。自助早餐有和食和洋食。

Onsen, room size, breakfast/dinner were good. I liked how the staffs were ready to pick us up at the train station.
The room I stayed in was outdated. For the price, not sure if it's worth.

Proximity to Train station. Pleasantly surprised by the Buffet breakfast spread,
Initial reception was good, until the attendant asked for tips after showing us the room. Was taken aback as we were not prepared because we were told that in Japan no tips are required.

The three public baths were large and clean. There weren’t as many people as I thought they would in the bath at the same time. Members of the staff were helpful and nice when I asked for help. Karaoke room was nice, too. It was like 900 yen per person per hour (I wished they explained how to use the machine before the paid session began).
The fridge is, what staff explained to me, a kind that keeps the temp. It does not make things colder, instead, it just keeps the temp as is. So I had to ask for a bucket of ice to be delivered to my room, put them in plastic bags that I brought with me and making sure that water won’t leak from my bags, which was tedious. The building that I was in was an old one with single pane windows, an old fridge, and an old toilet. There wasn’t that much to eat for vegetarians, either, at the breakfast buffet as many of the dishes used fish broth to cook everything even vegetables and Tofu. The facility informed me of that before booking this hotel and told me that they cannot accommodate special requests. So it wasn’t a surprise, but all hotel buffet places should be more understanding of vegetarian needs.

Location, in-house onsen, comfortable and clean. Staff is very helpful.
Breakfast doesn’t have great variety of options

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL, CLEAN, MANY SHOPS INSIDE AND AROUND, 3 ONSENS
Getting inside the pool costed extra charges.

Here is 1 of the 3 best hot spring in Japan. Japanese nobody unknow Gero-Onsen. Here's hot spring is amazing. Japanese old King and Queen have been here too. If you come here, don't forget to Takayama.
The room is too old, and here is difficult to access by train or bus. Without hot spring, the nearly haven't too much travel spot. and yahoo travel is cheaper 1000 yen then booking.

The location is great. Super close to the tourist spots, can walk to anywhere.
The public onsens were fantastic, it has 3 different types / places of onsens in the hotel. The environment and quality of spring water were unforgettable.

convenient location, abundant baths, excellent service.
second day’s dinner was a little random. suddenly a western style steak with potato in a kaiseki dinner.
panoramic baths can be seen from
across the river. nowadays even phones can zoom alot more than you think.
i can also see into the male open air baths from my 5th floor room. just wondering if they know…
outdoor pool should be cleaned too.

location is good, closed to the train station

Breakfast and onsen
At the guest room area , a very unpleasant and pungent smell. I’m sure that it was the smell of a dead rat .

Very friendly and English speaking staff. Good baths and you can access 2 of them till 0:00 and 1 works 24h. Very good breakfast (we didn't take dinner, but there is a good ramen restaurant near the hotel). We stayed in Japanese Traditional room which was a great experience.
Very good interior and atmosphere in the hotel.
It was very hard to sleep on the beds (futons) for us and it was cold in the room at night.

Clean. Nice Onsen Pool. Near the train station.

Amazing onsens, awesome views, wonderful staff, and excellent service.
I can't really find anything I dislike about my stay.
4.5
Excellent facilities. Had a lovely time here. Located just a short walk from the train station and even offers a shuttle if you would rather be driven over. Check in was straight forward and staff were all so helpful. Stayed in a traditional Japanese room and staff came in in the evening to make up the beds. The highlights are the multiple onsens available on site. Also given traditional yukata to wear throughout the hotel.
Quite expensive but understandable with the onsens on site

the room and spa are good. very warm or even hot in the room.
don’t know how to adjust the warm system in the room. sometimes it could be too hot.

Right beside the train station yet close to the main town centre
Spacious standard room. There are activities for almost everyone.
The taps are the older type which require turning
