The Lodge was very spacious and very luxurious! The Pool area with a view into the desert was very Nice After Coming back from the sunrise and Dune hiking expeditions. The buffet was superb with nice freshly grilled game. At lunch and breakfast there were oryxes walking past the lodge.

Tolle Unterkunft in super Lage innerhalb des Sossusvlei-Parks.
Gutes Restaurant
Man zahlt hier natürlich einen gewaltigen Aufpreis für die Lage. War es uns aber wert.

great location, looked very modern
Quite expensive (though it’s a tourist hotspot so most places are expensive). Looks very nice but facilities not very practical e.g. area to meet for drinks pre dinner. Lunch menu disappointing

Excellent location, lovely food, luxury tents although there was a lot of noise during the night because there was a sandstorm during out stay (lots of wind). Very friendly staff and great setting, lovely desert views, would definitely stay again!
lots of noise when it is windy

Food was great, staff was greater and overall the location was just remarkable. Just outside of the Namib Dessert park and the most convenient location. Excellent!!!
N/A. I loved everything. Game meats on offer along with more conservative options so nothing there to not like. It was all awesome!

Amazing views and the best quality glamping rooms.
One would expect greater quality food for the price you pay per night. The food was not bad but very very basic considering the luxury lodge. Especially the lunch menu.

Great location inside the national park, nice luxury tents, beautiful views of the night sky, very good food, super helpful and friendly staff, nice dinner.
Nothing.

We went early out , and a breakfast was packed - it is not great, considering what you pay to stay there
The toilet and bathroom is separate from the room , you have to walk outside to the bathroom

Excellent location, stunning design, breathtaking view
For the amount charged per night there was a greater expectation that the place would be better maintained. The sheets in the room were not clean and we had to ask to change them, there was not always hot water, they repaired the boiler twice. The staff is lovely and does their best. The food is quite limited and budgeted. Maybe it's me expecting to get more value for the amount paid

Impressive central lounge - bar - dining - swimming pool area. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds.
Tented rooms style and furnishing Is good, and the room is spacious with very effective aircon.
Rooms need some maintenance - plugs blocked, doors don't close properly, shower head clogged up
Housekeeping wasn't great (e.g blinds were not rolled down when a sandstorm came up and we were out; turndown didn't happen sometimes)
The back aspect of the hotel - which you see on approach and when walking from rooms to the central area - looks a bit like a construction site.

located inside the external gate of the park (there are 2 gates, external and internal. the internal gate is where everyone lines up before sunrise to go into the park to Deadvlei), so it’s very well located. We were not expecting this level of luxury in the middle of seemingly nowhere in the dessert. the chalet is spacious, has AC, hot shower (though we had to call housekeeping to replace the heat tank twice). the food variety is great. service is very good. we had problem with our tire pump and the staff was able to help us which was a lifesaver. all meals are included except drinks. they gave a breakfast pack if you’re going to Deadvlei, and a lunch pack on day of departure. On our last night here the winds picked up 40 knots and we were SO glad we were not camping.
had to call housekeeping twice to get the shower to become hot but it was not a big deal. they came right away to fix it. I’m happy with their responsiveness

Great service and very helpful stuff. Being located in the park, we were able to get to the dunes before the crowds. We also loved the decor.

nicely designed, inside the park, close to its own small dune, easy to drive to Sesriem canyon and Namib sky balloon and the entire staff was very friendly and provides amazing services
i can’t say we didn’t like anything

The bedroom & bathroom were fabulous. The pool area was lovely (watching the Oryx come in to drink from the water trough). The dining area was also great (more amazing views). Food was well cooked and nicely presented. Wine selection was okay. Staff were just superb; so friendly.
The menus (lunch & dinner) are a little limited. It would be a struggle to have enough variety if staying more than 2 nights - but most people seem not to, so....

The food was great.
The airconditioner in the room is totally insufficient for the outside temperatures.
The bathroom has no airconditioning.
Room is totally closed. No windows. If flaps are opened, the insufficient aircoditioning is even less effective.
Lastly, no access to units in own transport. Only golfcart transport available to main complex. Often had to wait 10 tp 15 minutes outside in heat to be picked up.

excellent location, extremely good service and friendly and helpful staff. Great food . we were hosting private family event and the staff went all the way to help in organizing and making it a success!
all was perfect

The setting, the room, the lounge area
The food can be better at that price! There were only a few guests on our 2nd day and I got the impression that they don't really want to make an effort for 4 guests. I think the manager was there with business colleagues, that really did not add to the ambiance.

You have a choice between breakfast in the hotel and breakfast "to go". If you have time, choose the former - the spread is great, and views are amazing.
The staff was amazing though service was sometimes rough around the edges.

Location was excellent being inside the park. Staff were very helpful mostly attentive. Room spacious and comfortable. PP the head chef was great on his welcoming drum!
The a la carte menu on second night was quite limited. First night was good as there was a large number to cater for. Manageress needs to be more front of house and show some leadership skills. First night nobody was giving clear directions on what was happening at meal time. In the tented chalet/room there is clearly a plumbing issue as hot shower was either super hot or cold. First shower taken was totally cold for both of us. The problem was reported but wasn’t properly resolved. The evening turn down staff were asked to come back in 10 minutes when they arrived when we were still dressing for dinner but never came back. Small things make the difference.

the architecture of the main lodge, the evening buffet and hospitality that came with it, the good location inside the park and ease to get to Sesriem and Sossus.
staff were lovely but I had £100 stolen from my lodge.
my lodge was number 20 and was getting a little bit tired. it was also the furthest walk from the main lodge (ask for close to the main lodge if you have mobility issues)

The location inside the park allowing to see sunrise or sunset from the dunes. Very confortable room with air con.
Meals are always buffets.
