Good location, take away info, was clean, compy sofas and beds. Good location for Snowdon. Owner answered any questions we had before arrival. Kitchen had everything we needed.
Was a little difficult to find (we arrived early hours of morning, so was dark), photo of front of property may be helpful. We were not able to park our car out the front of the property, but we were able to park on the road just around the corner of the property.

Cottage furniture and beds very dated and sofa and beds a bit smelly.
Parking was bad could not fit into parking space and was a job to find somewhere to park.

The cottage was in a location that suited us as we were climbing snowdon, we were a family of 5 myself, 3 sons and my sons g/f , the WiFi was good and the instructions to get into the house were clear.
We booked for 2 nights unfortunately left after 1 , the downstairs had 3/4 plugs in which were overpowering so turned them off but after a while noticed the house smelt.the sofa was itchy and also smelt , myself and two sons shared the larger bedroom but the double bed in there absolutely stunk of urine🤢 which made us feel sick so we slept downstairs, there was food left over from someone previously in the kitchen cupboard. The smell in the kitchen was so over powering we couldn't cook or eat in there. There's a unit in the front room that had games in and two dirty blankets were shoved in there . Unfortunately we won't be back and wouldn't recommend there's definitely a horrible smell in the house and the urine in the bedroom is awful .

Very clean, fully equipped kitchen, beds comfy
Parking wasn't good, 1 space for the house, had to drive round the other roads for the 2nd car.
Exterior of property was really off putting and a foul mouthed neighbour didn't help, with a 6yr old with us. Obviously this is no fault of the property owner, but I wouldn't stay there again. Needed updating throughout.

Great veiw and handy supermarket, huge space, nice outside area.
Shower could be a little hotter after a day's hiking. But it would not put me off from booking again I loved it.

Everything was clean and well presented. The information given about local sites was very helpful. Great views of the local town and mountains

Locality to Zip World.
Living room area clean and spacious.
We weren't expecting luxury for the price but it was let down by basics such as a poorly equipped kitchen, if you advertise for 6 people then supply crockery/ glasses etc for 6! Some items had to be washed before use as they were put away dirty! Unfortunately there was no washing up liquid so we had to the go out and buy some, plus tea-towels as the one supplied had food encrusted on it! Simple things to rectify but they make a big difference to your first impressions and your overall stay. Bathroom towels are included but they were very small, threadbare and unpleasant smelling. No mention in the description of the extremely sloping floors upstairs, you felt as though the whole upstairs was dropping forward. The bbq area was a small, grotty back yard. Access and parking at the property is extremely difficult but made worse by a neighbour who parks his motorbike at a really ridiculous angle to make parking as difficult as possible. I could go on. Overall disappointing.

It was spacious and well equipped

A beautiful homely stay, great location for getting around Snowdonia. Rooms really comfortable, and everything you need there
Parking on arrival was a little confusing as the sign said not to park, but after checking with owner all was ok.

nice view , close to the mountains

The location was beautiful, and we all enjoyed our time in the slate mines especially in 'Bouncing Below'.

The view was truly the highlight of this trip. Just to be able to step out your front door & not move an inch further to be faced with the breathtaking scenery is the stuff of dreams. The property is also in a fantastic location with so much to do - you are literally spoilt for choice! There is a mountain peak you can climb literally just up the street, behind the house where we watched the sunset & this was one of the most beautiful things anyone in our group has even experienced. Internally the property is modern & clean with a great set up for a couple of group.
If we absolutely had to pick something we didn’t like it would be the shower water pressure but even then this didn’t bother us or effect our stay in any way; it was just less than what we are used to at home.

Heating supplied through the day, kept us warm in 0° weather, mainly living room and bedroom. WiFi, Smart TV, Mountain views
Communication from hosts beforehand was great and guide available inside the home

The location of the property was excellent as it was just a few minutes from Zip World. Hosts were very helpful and sent through information in advance. Great views from the front of the building and very quiet.
Excellent heating which kept everything nice and cosy.
Please note if you are planning on visiting in the winter just be mindful that the location of the property is on a very steep hill, which although allows for excellent views, could be tricky in icy, snowy conditions.
Slightly difficult to find. A small drawing of how to locate the property would be helpful, particularly as we could not see any street names.
We arrived in the dark and as there was no lightning outside the property it was difficult to navigate the steep steps.
The batteries for the remote to turn the TV did not work. The batteries in the wall heater also did not work.
The cutlery would benefit from being replaced and some non stick saucepans would be a welcome addition.
There are some damp in the hallways which does mean there is a musty smell.
The bathroom is the room that needs the most investment as it would benefit from a new shower and shower cubicle and new flooring.
Basically the cottage has the potential to be a really cosy property but needs some injection of love and money to make it worth the money currently being charged.

Nice location with pretty views from the front. House was a good size and great size second bedroom. The house was clean and the owners were polite and helpful.
Road is very narrow and tricky! Was dark when we arrived and was very nerve-racking.
Everything was a little basic and could use a little love. Shower was quite weak and bed quite short and not overly comfortable.
Choice on the TV was a bit limited. A TV with more smart features like Netflix maybe would have been nice as it rained our whole trip (not a massive surprise in October) but would have made the evening a bit more entertaining with two teenagers.

The location was decent, good views of the mountains from the windows, property was spacious.
The stairways had a damp/fishy smell, passage, front of house and rear of house lights didnt work, the sofa smelt of damp and had dog hairs all over them, one of the rooms had a half empty bottle of wine in the cupboard, the whole property was very dusty,
Its ok for the price, but wasn’t cleaned very well after the previous guests.

We liked the views and downstairs was a decent size and well decorated and comfortable
The bed wasn’t very comfy and the shower was poor, just needs a bit of tlc and it would be perfect
3.9
House was very clean and cosy, instructions and directions were very clear, good, friendly communication.
Parking was tricky outside the property so parked just up the road which was no trouble.
Did find the beds a little short but comfortable none the less and would have loved a bath!

The property was situated in a small village with basic amenities, ideal for a base to explore local attractions. Bedding and towels were freshly laundered. Communication with the owner was first class and received all the information we needed in advance of our stay, with useful information on parking and access prior to the visit. No problems accessing the property. Following a small hiccup with booking information owner quickly resolved the issue.
First impressions were that the property was tidy, but clearly became apparent that it had not had a thorough clean for some time. The shower was ‘very hot’ and there was no change in temperature when you adjusted the settings. Beware if travelling with younger children. Some of the basics supplied (I.e.: cutlery was unusable due to damage) The male cleaner arrived 20minutes early to us checking out and this added pressure and stress to our departure. My partner and younger son both had multiple ‘bites’ when in the property.
This property has all the potential of being a wonderful and charming cottage for families but it is lacking care. It feels like it needs an injection of ‘love’ into the place.

Great price, clean and comfy.

The house is just off the main high street and not far to walk to ZIP world. The house had all we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean and tidy with lovely hosts. Ideal base for local attractions such as port merion , port Madoc etc.
There wasn't much not to like , parking was outside the property
3.9
Nothing
Lovely place to stay! Everything needed for a weekend away
3.9
The location, the shower, the washer and dryer combo
More toilet rolls would have been nice and some decent trashbags.
3.9
Great cottage but very steep stairs and steep access
Could have felt a little more like home and had milk and teabags, steep stairs and very steep access.
