Lovely cosy room with everything provided. Breakfast was really superb with very attentive hosts.
4.1
the hosts were so lovely and attentive, especially with breakfast on both mornings.
my room was lovely, had a comfy bed and a clean and tidy bathroom.
it was close to the wedding venue which was great too.
getting to the property in the dark was a struggle as it was along some very windy roads. but that was it.

The owners were helpful and very welcoming. The breakfast was brilliant lots of options and great full English!
The steep narrow winding stairs and the fact there was no shower, however we both realise that this is a beautiful old country house and with that comes quirkiness like the stairs!

set in lovely grounds
Gentleman proprietor became friendlier after a while!

Lovely old farmhouse with wonky floors and exposed beams. Lots of interesting features and attention to detail. Gorgeous home cooked breakfasts served with a good view of the garden and lake.
Nothing! However the stairs were very steep and anybody of average height might not be able to stand upright in some of the rooms.

Lovely Farmhouse very clean and beautiful surroundings
Breakfast was set at 8.30am only that was the only downfall

Excellent breakfast- each table has its own beautiful bowl of fresh fruit salad, toaster, generous bowl of individual cereals, etc and we were also offered a delicious cooked breakfast. The accommodation is traditional in decor, with a comfortable bed. the low ceilings add character but limit how the space can be used.
i wouldn’t say the bathroom of The Hayloft was exactly ‘en suite’. I found it a bit disconcerting that it was across a short corridor which was open to the stairs, and although I was assured that the guests in the two lower rooms didn’t come upstairs, I still felt a bit exposed going to the bathroom from the bedroom at night.

It was in a beautiful location and was very traditional. I was given a super breakfast both mornings I was there.
There was nothing to dislike about the property. Only slight criticism would be the people running it seemed very shy about dealing with guests but that didn’t stop it being a lovely place to stay.

We only stayed very briefly overnight as we were here for our friends wedding which was a few miles down the road but both myself and my husband really felt touched by this family run business. They have clearly gone out of their way to think of everything, biscuits and bottled water in the bedrooms, toiletries, extra blankets and I’m not sure what else you could have asked for when it came to the breakfast options! they have put real effort in and it shows.

Good location. Very pleasant breakfast with local sausages. Very friendly and helpful hosts.Clean and bright.
Perhaps another choice at breakfast, but our hosts were working with a limited number of visitors and it was fine.

Lovely period property with good facilities and well located to explore the area. Property was very clean and breakfast served to order.
It was not a problem for us, however, taller guests should be made aware of the height of the rooms. I am only 5'9" and my head was touching the ceiling in places. Some of the down lighting bulbs were not energy saving (especially the one in the bathroom in front of the mirror) meaning that standing under for a few seconds ended up with scorched hair!

Breakfast was exceptional, I loved having a toaster on the table so that I could have hot toast, I hate cold toast!
The building and location are beautiful, quiet and peaceful

A great find to spend a weekend cycling in the Suffolk countryside. I stayed in a room in a converted stable / farm building which was warm and comfortable, fantastic shower!
Being a converted building the window was quite high up and small'ish, but as I was only there when it was dark that was fine.

Quirky very comfortable and a great nights sleep. Fantastic breakfast all fresh fruit and local produce.
Nothing
